I don’t understand why my internet has been working perfectly for months. My Roomate is literally in the next room over and using the internet and my Xbox is still getting this stupid Authentication Message
Mines used to do a black screen but then for some reason it stopped now its doing it again and i tried everything even ip automatic and dns automatic and clearing the alternate mac address and tried several different ports

Once you have entered your MAC address, try connecting to your wireless network again.
I tried this and it still didn't work. also now my Xbox won't even show my internet ssid, so no matter what the fuck I do I can't connect. I'm genuinely pissed

Dude thank you!!!! I’m at a hotel and it doesn’t have password on the WiFi. My Xbox would “connect” but wouldn’t load anything. I cleared the MAC address and then launched Microsoft edge browser and it took me to the page I needed to accept the WiFi terms and conditions and boom I can play online now! I was hotspotting from my phone until I stumbled upon your video. Thanks again
It didn’t work for me.. Microsoft are terrible with their helplines etc. But you basically said everything that I’d research but still followed your guidelines again anyway. Although it never worked for me and I’m still problem solving.. I have still subscribed to you mate 👍🏻

Well I changed nothing since yesterday, fired up my One X just a moment ago and it all worked well again. I think it was a MS problem and they fixed it. Glad I have my One X back in full effect 😁🍺
here to tell my experience in 2023. i did the thing where you change a couple of letters/numbers in the MAC address and that didn’t work so I changed it back to the original MAC address and then it worked fine. so ig change it to something random then change it back to the original and see if that works for y’all

if your parents put the parental control thing on your xbox just put your regular mac address (you need a android device to find it) and change the last letter or number of it it will work

Change your mac address manually just change the last 2 to something other than the wireless and wired address and you're good. example if your last 2 for wired and wireless are DC and CF change it up and do like DF at the end

look at the bottom of your internet router and there will be a Mac address, that's what you type in
