BRUH , YOU ARE THE GOAT. I recently went wired and it was not giving me an open nat wired. Was gonna go through all my router bs but shit be complicated then a mutha. I was about to get frustrated . But kept trying a different port and it finally went to open after about 6 tries on different ports . Saved me a big ass headache . Today is 10-17-19
This really worked for me, especially after playing around with my router settings (I wasn't very good at it), enabling IP Passthrough (which disabled my LAN), and disabling it again (which fixed that problem). Many thanks!

same. i think you have to actually change your router/modem. unfortunately for me i changed the login password and wrote it on a piece of paper but my house has been changed around a lot and the paper is lost.

1: Choose a Manual Port
2: Go to your router/modem settings
3: Find Port Forwarding
4: Open the port you have selected in the manual of xbox.
5: Restart your modem/router
6. Happy Gaming

Hi, could anyone please help? I’ve tried opening my NAT type and all of the options are still strict. Under the nat type it also says UPnC not successful, could this be the problem? It lets me play games etc just not join XBL parties.

I think your regular internet might be interfering. Mine usually says Moderate with Double NAT, but lately it’s NAT has been Open for some reason, and my regular internet interferes with practically everything on my Xbox.
