well a tip i could give that's not in the video is to place the hand your not drawing with so it stops your color pencil from going outside the lines if that makes sense.

These are some great tips! I have a few suggestions :
Use circular strokes instead of broad strokes or straight lines.
Use multiple layers of pencils, for example, for a strong red layer multiple layers of different reds on top of each other.
Use a kneaded eraser to lighten colored areas.
Make a sketch before drawing the final product, and always lighten the sketch with a kneaded eraser before coloring with the pencils. If you don’t lighten the sketch, the lines of the sketch will show through and mix with the colored pencil.
Anyway, these are just a few suggestions that weren’t mentioned in the video. :)

I would say it would be way faster if you trace your original drawing to a new paper that saves more time

Pretty dope information and techniques to keep handy. I try to always adhere to these steps myself. It took me years to really improve my drawings, but i don't regret using TH-cam and tutorials to help guide and shape my own drawing style.
i don't use coloured pencils much since i dont like colouring my drawings, but nice tips.

I recommend to start to colour your drawing as soon as possible. It will really help you.

Nice! These tips really helped me a lot with my colouring, I normally don't colour my drawings because normally it just makes my drawing look worse.
But the tips made the colours blend and makes me feel like using colours all the time i'm drawing now

This is the first time that I'm going to color my ArtWorks :)

You don't always need smooth blends, sometimes you'll be doing an anime or cartoon style and you'll have colours right next to each other

Which one do we best do first? The outline or the colouring?
Even though I'm an anime artist I get confused XD because of all the smudging on the outline I always get while colouring
depends, there are certain markers good for doing the lineart first and others that not so depends on what you're using, I usually do the lineart first
But for my watercolor pieces I do the lineart after
