Room Tour: Beautiful Kitchen Makeover With Timeless Details

- See how designer Danielle Nicholas Bryk gave a small, dated kitchen a timeless makeover. To create a bright, clean aesthetic that will stand the test of time, Danielle used white subway tile with dark grout, Carrara marble countertops, Shaker-style cabinets from Muti Kitchen & Bath, hardwood floors, black-framed windows and Thermador appliances. By opening up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and adding a breakfast bar and pantry, she was able to design a functional space for her clients. The result is a kitchen that will remain classic and beautiful 20 years from now.

It’s 3 years old and this video still shows me a gorgeous, relevant, stylish kitchen. Every detail on point, nothing about it has lost its appeal. Timeless and classic, this kitchen remodel is 2Die4 and I’d be over the moon to have this kitchen, right now. An absolute home run. Loving it!

I LOVE the wall full of storage cabinet, giving the other side free of upper cabinet which makes the kitchen look so much bigger and brighter ♥️

On my goodness... I’m in love with every single aspect of that kitchen! Whenever I watch these types of videos there’s one or two things that’s not to my liking. But every idea was so on spot! The “Rollouts” for the dishes and the Floating Shelves just everything! 😍
She did a fantastic job. It looks so much better and more inviting. I love that she separated the working side of the kitchen from the storage space making it more organized. It's a well-thought-out kitchen reno!

I’m saying YES to everything! Love Danielle and I really enjoyed what she brought to the table on Home to Win this year! Ok, so...first thing that I noticed is that she was incredibly complimentary of her clients. She respected the home owners enough not to bash the before kitchen, which I found refreshing and super classy! Second, she did an amazing job with the space. Some of the stand out moments for me were: Bringing the subway tile all the way up, those lovely gold handles (reminds me of searching through a library card catalog as a kid) and the floors! Those tiles had to go! 🤣 The espresso bar was also a beautiful addition. Great job!
I love this reno because I can relate to it. Most homes in Montreal are galley style without the space for an island and separate pantry room. Love the esthetics as well.
I would go so far as to say that kitchen will be beautiful 50 years from now!

Well, I'm having kitchen envy also. What a great testimonial to professional design. The space is so thought out and planned that, you're right, it will be easy to live with for decades. You didn't just resurface, you corrected the layout flaws. I've often joked that the 4 most dangerous words in the English language are: "While we're at it." But, WOW, well done here!

Beautiful classic style kitchen. I have just renovated my kitchen to this similar style. I only have to finish my backsplash in white subway tile with a grey grout. Are you able to advise what colour grout was used?
Always white.....BUT that wooden floors add such warmth and the gold fixtures and hardware are very nice. It doesn't feel steril, that rug adds a lot of character and personality that hold true to an older traditional feel.
If I had a Kitchen like this, I wouldnt complain about washing the dishes 😉

It's nice to have a window above the sink but a small space for wet dishes and pans is more useful overall. BTW when ever possible a dishwasher should be on the right which is more ergonomic for most people to place the dish from the right side. I would have placed the sink on the left with a small drying rack above, window and dishwasher to the right..
