Alice, you're a goddamn aural wizard - it's crazy impressive that you can pick out sounds with such clarity, and know how to replicate them so easily. Much respect.
You are a genius, Alice. Your ears are trained to perfection, it's impressive. You might be the best producer to learn from at an advanced level. I haven't even started making techno yet, but so many of your tips are useful for any producer regardless of their genre. Thank you for what you do!!
Thank you, you are super nice! I think many things really translates between different genres. Often times the concept is same, the flavors are just slightly different. Hope you enjoy making techno once you start it. 😊
You're absolutely brilliant, Alice. Have always loved how you teach, and your knowledge and ears are so very impressive. We're so lucky to have people like you sharing with the world. Thank you! ❤
Such an amazing work Alice! I'm so grateful for sharing your experience. Subscribed your channel long time ago and your content improves regularly. As a Turkish producer, I'm proud of you :) Hope your channel reach more audience. Take care!
I'm simply amazed by how you can recreate sounds almost 1:1. If I could do that I'd never leave the studio again haha. Would be so interesting to see the unique sound design of MRAK, you can only find stuff about Anyma but the sound of Carmine is so much more exciting to me...
@@Alice-Efeohhh you are making me sleep well tonight❤i will definitely buy the sample pack and would love to see a video😊 Can you tell if the presets are from 'Equilibrium'?
This became a hit because it blended alot of different genre acoustics than your "typical" techno and game it a move groovish clubish and slapping feeling that it sells all over the worlds right now
Alice this is ridiculous, your display of mastery of producing is on full blast! I’m betting your version is better than the original!! Not to mention your video production skills are incredible and at the top of your game! 🔊🌟🔥🔊🌟🔥🔊🔥🔊🌟🔥🔊🔥🌟🔊
i just randomly found this video and subscribed to this channel straight away. WoW! Alice really is a wizard. As an ex producer I'm amazed how good she is.
No, I never produced full mono. But I produced pretty tight tracks close to mono. Nowadays I kind of have my own signature stereo image with my tracks so I kind of like it that way.
Great video once again, i was wondering of you could show how a lot of tracks have notes playing in a off rhythm like a bouncing ball so getting faster or slower, i realise it could be done by just placing notes but i get a feeling its being done a different way. An example is anyma etrnity
@@Alice-Efe the arpeggio one yes thanks, a lot of track have the drop where notes can be staggered, i have thought they are using arpeggiator and changing sync time
Hello Alice, thank you for your amazing work as always, I think I have watched all of your videos and some of them twice haha 😅 I made a new melodic techno track following your guides and I would like to know your honest opinion about it to improve my future ones. Are you doing something like this or do I need to join your Patreon (I understand it as it is your precious time)? Please let me know as it will really helps a ton 😉 This is the track: th-cam.com/video/Nkn1Qa-WHXA/w-d-xo.html 🎵 If you dont people like me spamming in the comments let me know and I will delete it! Surely this is hard progressive house? I don't understand why this kind of music is called techno. Just because it's got a bigger kick it's techno? I'm baffled.
Doesn't sound like progressive house to me at all mate, but I grew up listening to the likes of Guerrilla, Cowboy Records, and Stress tracks, so maybe the definition is watered down nowadays. I think the mere presence of rumbles in this is why people would generally throw it into the techno camp.
The subgenrefication of music has become excessive. It's to the point where subgenre is used more often as a tool for snobbery than it is for useful disctions
Hi Jay! Thank you for kind words, appreciate it! Though it is literally the top selling track on Beatport Peak Time Techno tracks. Likewise on traxx or Spotify. So it is not me but all the DJs, distributors and labels.
It's amazing how far-reaching the prescriptivism vs descriptivism linguistic debate is. Prescriptivists want to maintain the integrity of the original meaning of "techno". The rest of us accept that word usage changes over time so their definitions drift.
Just proves that most people who buy techno nowadays dont have a clue what techno is, all in to this techno trance pish thats out. Absolute garbage track. Not taking away from your breakdown video, this is just a garbage track, more pop than underground.

Awww thanks a ton! It is just years of experience at this point, I think! Hopefully I can make use of those ears to help producer community now 😊
i was thinking the same! Great job, as always

Every single time I am here I am learning, and the way you can recreate those sounds...chef's kiss. Inspiring to be like you!
Aww thank you! Happy to help and good luck with your productions!
Impressive like always, mindblown you just remade everything by ear so "easy"!
Do you still live in Sweden? Cheers from a Swedish fan! ❄️

Bless you for all your insights🙏
So good! Super helpful to understand how the biggest artists are approaching their productions & shows the power of simplicity.
Awesome video
Thank you! More often than not; most of the big tracks are really simple and straight forward. ❤
Love these breakdowns regarding arrangement and sound design/sound recreating! Great and compact video!
I love making them as much! Cheers to you! ✌️
Me encanta tu contenido, se agradece mucho.
I have probably 10% of the tech that you have and I am overwhelmed. Yet you have mastered the whole thing. This is an incredible deep dive. Thank you.

Wow, so good!
how is your audio settings in windows or apple if you using it. ?
I need those ears of yours, very imressive how you can identify and breakdown each element so accurately!
Just keep making music, I am sure you can train yours as good or even better 😊

this channel is very goood
Great video!!! Have you ever produced a full song in mono and can it have difference on the end result
No, I never produced full mono. But I produced pretty tight tracks close to mono. Nowadays I kind of have my own signature stereo image with my tracks so I kind of like it that way.
Thanks you are so amazing
Aww cheers! ❤
In answer to your question, drugs. Can you imagine Carl Craig, Nina Kravitz or Jeff Mills making a track like this.
Wooooow you are sooo amazing, really a goddam genius
Aww cheers! Thank you so much!
you don't put sidechain on the acid bass ?
Is that track been released in 2022?

great video but you mean top selling beatport comercial techno track... :)
I understand that you can do music like this, but I don't understand why that track is top selling track. Clickbate?

Your videos are so cool. I only regret that the tracks chosen are very mainstream and not pure techno
You can always learn a lot even from main stream tracks 😊

Who cares
Doesn't sound like progressive house to me at all mate, but I grew up listening to the likes of Guerrilla, Cowboy Records, and Stress tracks, so maybe the definition is watered down nowadays. I think the mere presence of rumbles in this is why people would generally throw it into the techno camp.
The only progressive part of this track is break imo. The rest is really what you would call typical peak time techno.
@@shanenolan5275exactly, who cares !!

this is stolen from dualism.. music is a joke nice video though great channel
I love you videos, but please stop calling music like this techno. Its more Trance than Techno.

just saying... im no hater of what gender you are, but it really needs to change the voice? Voice is not marker who you are.
