Nintendo said "Fuck that" and bring us Metroid Prime 4. I haven't played any Prime games except Hunters, but I've seen gameplay of the other 3, and I am super jealous of people who played those games. Samus is the perfect example of how I ghink women should be portrayed in video games. Strong, independent and resourceful. That's one of the reasons I love Metroid so much.

I’m not even that big into Metroid (I’ve only beaten Prime and Fusion) and I recognized the music immediately… and then I noticed the Screwattack S.
had this on the background stream at work. Heard the music and was laughing while denying any possibility.... looked at my twitter feed blow up about metroid prime 4 later that day...... Excitement was real!!
My favorites are the ones who slowly realize what's happening part-way through (around the time the screw attack symbol and the 4 come into focus), rather than the ones who only realize what's happening at the end (when it says "Metroid Prime 4").

Definitely! It's such an amazing, masterclass of a series. It's my favorite series of all time. I recommend starting with zero mission, Super, or metroid prime. Then play any of the versions of metroid 2 (am2r, Samus Returns or the original), fusion, and the rest of the prime trilogy (prime 2 & 3).
