      You didn’t want to push the brow bone up a little? I love the way you did the face, but the brow bone looks a little too close to the eyes. .

    I just adore you. You teach in such an honest, gentle, calming tone. And I can tell how much you love what you're doing because just when I think your getting to the end and I'm thinking oh no not yet show me more I'm not ready to stop because I'm enjoying watching you so much,you keep going because you're not ready to stop either because you are enjoying it so much. That's a great teacher. Thank you! 😊

    Fantastic. I'd love it if you wrote some books on sculpting faces, and full bodies. Have you ever thought of doing books?

    In painting (pictures) I have found that every painting - EVERY ONE - goes through an "ugly" period I call the "little dead girl" stage. That's the part where I find myself thinking, 'Oh, this is awful! Why did you think you could ever paint? You need to give this up and do something else!' But I just keep working, and once I get through that "little dead girl" stage, I'm always happy with my work, and everyone else is, too. I am relieved to see that a similar thing happens in sculpting. Apparently it is just part of the creative process. Thank you for your encouragement not to give up at the first bit of discouragement.

      Yes Vicki really no different. Just a different medium. Creation is all the same. Thank you for expressing your experience.

    I’m so surprised that was all done with that one tool! Then I kept thinking I missed her adding more clay in, but nope it was all from that first piece.

    Hello, and thank you. A fantastic video. A beautiful face. One question...where do you buy the little metal tools you are using to shape the mouth and eyes? Do they have specific names for each tool? Thank you. Janet

      They are dental tools. Easy to find online. Thank you for the nice reply.

    Isn´t the wax melting inside the clay?

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It melts out quicker then the clay cooking. Having your doll parts tilted to run out.

    Any suggestions on keeping lint off the clay? No matter who much I wash my hands it seems lint finds its way to the clay as I work.

    • @fairysnmypond
      @fairysnmypond  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lil Heavenly Treasures big problem with pc
      Make sure your work station is clean
      Having no clutter helps. Don't sit by an air vent. Wear cotton clothing no dark colors. Keep wiping your hands and tools. Don't over work your clay. Take more breaks and let the clay rest. You might have to much oil and leaching out some could help.
