I get so much joy from watching you work. I make decorated cakes so I do sculpting with icing only for family and friends. Celidonia Studio, you are one of the most talented fairy makers that I have seen in videos! Thank you for sharing your work with all of the fairy lovers out here. I love watching you sculpt. I do have two questions. 1) Why do you pre-bake some pieces? I am new to the world of clay sculpting and want to try sculpting something for a fairy garden of my own. 2) Are these techniques okay for outdoor use or are they for indoor use only?

Thank you so much for appreciate my works :) I pre-bake when I need to sculpt more details without ruining the parts already sculpted. Polymer clay is water-resistant, but suffers sun light and heat, like all plastic materials ♡

Quanto sei brava , sono felice che esisti ,nuche io ho fatto qualcosa anni fa pensa ho comprato in America la pasta polimerica, ed ho fatto i neonati che ho li nella mia bacheca, poi nn ho fatto più nulla ma con te mi sta rivenendo la voglia di fare, una domanda ma la testa dopo che si costruisce inserita in uno stecchino, dopo la cottura sei sicura che si stacca.? A me nn è successo! Ci riproverò grazie celidonia

Che carina, grazie! :) Se prima di infornare ruoti un po' lo stecchino, si stacca agevolmente. Raramente anche a me restano attaccate, in quel caso risolvo sempre ruotando un po' lo stecchino, dopo la cottura, aiutandomi con una pinza, mentre tengo delicatamente il volto :)

Thanks :) I used Sculpey Living Doll light for this Fairy, but often I mix several brands of polymer clay: Fimo, Pardo, Cernit and Prosculpt too :)
