I went to art school and was a professional artist back in the day before there were such an abundance of great tutorials. Every method was hard won. Finding good quality information was a chore. I hope people appreciate how lucky they are having a useful resource like this video at their fingertips. Excellent video.

Is the material plasticine or clay?

I am a sculptor and former maker of sculpting tools. Even though I myself find it impossible to do, I totally admire artists like yourself who can do SO VERY MUCH with only one or two simple tools! Bravo Stecca!!

In case anyone was wondering: The tool being used appears to be from a low cost nail manicure set.

Fantastic. Not only for sculptors, this video is also very helpful for artists learning about the structure of the human head.

Excellent video, excellent lighting, perfect camera angle which I never see like this in any tutorial, clear teaching, looks I am seeing and doing myself!! Who need to go to art school?? Thank you.

That’s a terrific system for determining angles and facets. Never seen one quite as useful before. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skill.

Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. My 1/19 scale heads for my model railway figures have already drastically improved after studying your video. So much information clearly shown. Super!

I have very minimal sculpting and clay experience and had the sudden urge to make something like this. Turned out absolutely amazing thanks to this video, thank you so much!

This video is by far the best I've encountered! With no words attached, with every move he makes you can learn something different ( for a beginner like myself) If I can just master this technique w/o watching this video over and over, i'll become a master myself!

Sculpting heads is my biggest struggle. Thank you so much for posting a video of how you sculpt faces! So helpful for newcomers like me 💕
