Boy how I miss how nice Prosculpt Clay used to be, it used to be such a wonderful clay, but it's changed and I can no longer work with it like I used to. Very sweet video, always enjoy your narrative as well :-)
Michael, thank you so much! I'm having so much fun creating your mermaid!!! Started on the armature and sculpting the tail recently... slow going but we'll get there. :)
I am so happy you are posting these videos I love your art style and techniques I am obsessed with your videos and how you make your sculptures truly come to life. Your videos have inspired me to sculpt again. You have true talent!
Thank you so much for your tutorial videos! I have watched many here on You tube but you really explain the process so well, it makes me want to do more sculpting! Thanks again!!! Love your work!
I've actually gotten feedback from a few people who say lips are the hardest. I don't know why but I've never struggled with the lips. My biggest struggle has always been with the nose, and I have little patience for ears. Thanks for watching, Elle!
I haven't really been using any tools either for my sculpting yet, other than an end of an old paintbrush so I'm sure that that makes it a lot harder for me!
I love your quirky videos 😉 so look forward to them popping up on my notifications..such a fabulous gift you have and will be sculpting along with you 😘
I just want to say, I found your youtube channel a few weeks ago, and I love how you do your videos!!! They are quirky and full with so much helpful information, you make sculpting look pretty damn easy!!! I make small baby Nymphs and I really want to try and make them look a little more realistic, and your tutorials have helped me start that!!! So thank you so much for starting a TH-cam channel!!! Can't wait to see your next one!!
There's this amazing great feeling when you push yourself and then end up with something you're super proud of, and I absolutely love sharing that feeling with other people such as yourself. Thank you so much for letting me know. It really means a lot to me.
Hi! I’m a new subscriber who found you a couple days ago and have started at the beginning and am watching a few videos each night to get caught up. I have no real experience with clay as I’m coming from a fiber background, but was looking to add to my artistic outlet. Do you accept emails where I could explain my background and then hopefully you could then guide me in the right direction? If so, what email address is best to use? Thank you in advance and I am absolutely falling in love with the world you’ve created here! 💜😊
Sharon, so sorry for the late reply. I'm catching up on my comments because I've got a minute... I'm so glad you did find my channel, love having you. I really love to seeing people get into clay so it's just thrilling to me that you're trying it out and I do hope you love it. Nice to have you on Patreon as well. Cheers!
CertainlyCaroline No worries! I was so glad you were able to find me on IG and message me. I’m still going through the Patreon app and watching and reading the prior lessons to help me better understand everything. My order of clay still hasn’t gotten here! My family is teasing me that I have the supplies, but no clay!! Haha, wait until they see what I make - then I’ll be the one laughing!!!! xxx
I sculpt clay on canvas so it’s basically relief. Your method of sculpting on a board is very helpful. Thank you.
This is fabulous! So inspiring! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

That's my goal, to get people inspired to create, so I'm totally thrilled to hear you're sculpting again.
What is the orange goop used for that you show in your first video? Is it the reason why your clay is so shiny at times?
Love learning from you! You make me crack up! Darn squirrel. You are the Miss Bob Ross of sculpting! Thanks so much 🤗 All the blessings❤️

Vicki Tomlinson Oh, I'm thrilled you're inspired, Vicki! ❤️
Thanks a lot for teaching us these techniques, it's really helping me ! ♥
How very nice to hear. Thanks for watching 💕
what do you use to smooth your finished face? I have tried water, liquid poly and just trying to smooth with tools but I can't get it very smooth.
I think it looks so good! Lips are the hardest part for me in sculpting the face so next time I'll try this technique!
