@@DjuntasI'm not a fan of WVA but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate his talents. He is an incredible rider!! It's impressive what he can do and what he has done but the truth remains, he really is the "KING of 2nd place finishes"😉 🤘🏻🏴
Any time I get a chance to watch WVA lose a sprint ESPECIALLY to a new, young and lesser known rider such as Bittner I am happy and before anybody says I'm being rude or disrespectful let me clearly state that WVA is an exceptional athlete. I think he is incredibly talented but he is too easy to root for. Not only that but it's ALWAYS awesome to see new young talented riders riding in a Grand Tour for their first time or winning a Grand Tour stage for the first time. I love the emotion in these riders. It's awesome to see them making their mark in the sport and gaining our attention. Many fans didn't know who this lad was but after today we will always remember watching him win this stage at La Vuelta and it's not just a Grand Tour stage win, he won against WVA!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! WVA is the KING of 2nd place finishes!!!😂😂😂 🤘🏻🏴
Basically, the bike throws tried to lose the race for both, but van Aert's throw was way worse and way too early. He literally throws the bike 20 meters from the line. Worst bike throws I've ever seen in a grand tour stage. 3:36 Van Aert had time to throw, pedal twice and then throw again. :D
Poor Wout. He's got more 2nd place finishes than any other pro rider in history. It's such a weird phenomenon... it has to be psychological... because he clearly has the power and the skill to be right there in the front--at the finish line--time and time and time again... he just can't seem to close the deal very often.
If you mean a gift from not protecting the “jersey “ regardless of who’s wearing it If TJV rode for Kuss like he has ridden for the both of the other two,we wouldn’t be having this conversation
u know i love the video's but why are these video's in such bad quality eurosport its 2024 i need atleast 1080p ima keep it a stack i know u can select 1080p but u trippin if u believe this footage is actually 1080p get me better quallity instead of this grainy shit

Greatly appreciate that Eurosport doesn't put spoilers into the highlight video title!
Normally they do !!
if only they had a better speaker
43??? That's attempted murder.
Agreed
Roglic with all his setbacks is riding a very good Vuelta so far!👏💪

I wonder if the outcome changes if Wout didn't misstime his throw
Yes almost certainly
Poor Rui, EF has been having some of the worst luck as of late
Congratulation to Pavel

Küng 5th! Since when can Küng sprint???
Same as Cancellara, just maintain high power for 20 seconds, like he need to do in TT each time after a corner to come back on speed, quiet normal
Commentator sounds like someone woke him up from his afternoon nap. Indeed, of course, I'm wide awake, indeed, of course

Yep..a bit of a glitch today, it happens
So who cares? You wouldn't even keep up with them if u were riding with em.
It is the confidis white line on the ground confuses Van Aert
@@rexycontemplates Haha, yeah we can call out a striker who misses a sitter, too. :D
He thought the line was earlier.
Wout with the premature bike throw. Me too, buddy. Me too.

He still has a lot of wins, and is one of the greatest all around riderd
@@MCFoultier Don't get me wrong. I love the guy. But he's been a bridesmaid 10x more than he has ever been the bride.
Erik Zabel belongs to riders who has most 2nd place finishes, he has way more than Wout van Aert

@kennykaniff Not sure that matters too much. What matters is wins (~10x the number of wins as Tom Pidcock) 🏴🏴🏴

This only shows that sepp kuss vuelta win was a gift from jonas and primoz last year
Got to be in it to win it,..
I said the same but some disagree that it was a gift
Kuss was injured, so probably Not at 100%
Primoz was not in this good a form last year plus he was mentally not in the right space.
