The transition from 12:22 is freaking awesome dawg. Every video steps up the production and never looses the goofiness ive come to expect from a bad flash or 2. Great stuff caleb!
Awesome, really enjoyed it. The thing I really got most out of this tho was the brilliant personal growth: Caleb 2022 “Large format is cool, but too much to lug around for a road trip” Caleb 2023 “I’m going to become a road tripping podcaster”
I worked for Best Products in San Bernardino in around 1985/1986. They were a "catalog showroom" like a cross between a department store and Ikea. The products were in glass cases, wrote down the number on an order sheet, they pulled it from the warehouse, you paid and were on your way. They had a good selection of quality products at better prices than most department stores. I own a few Albinar lenses in Pentax K mount for my Sears KSX 35mm SLR made by Ricoh.
I'm surprised there wasn't a step total at the end, for the entire trip. But was that each, or combined? Awesome post here, you packed so much into a reasonable length. All the video you make along the way is really great, compliments the stills so well. (Or maybe it is just great editing.) Really conveys the mood of the trip.
Super sweet video my dude! Great times were had it seems. Love it! Also, you and vaJayson seem to find a different beer variety for each sequence. Me likey! Are either of you on Untappd by any chance?
Glad you found u sum real NY Pizza.... BH is all outta Film anyhow, The guys at THAT Leica shop are good to help - if you catch them right. thanks for this video!!
@@BadFlashes thank you sir for the reply, kindly hitch camera and software did you use to edit it,looks really a amazing,I promise that is the last question, lol, stay creating your motivating us.
That green/magenta tint in your 500t photos, have you tried doing anything about it? Recently I shot a roll of 250d respooled by a 3rd party company, and I've got A LOT of those magenta shadows and green highlights. Funny look to have on a couple of pictures, but not the entire roll. So initially I attributed those tones to the film being scanned with an inappropriate film profile (lab did the scanning). But now I see these tones again in your pictures. So, which is it?
YOOOOO, tbh I would prefer 500t at all times but only having like 5 labs in the US isn't the best. NYC is a dream trip of mine and seeing these photos really ramped up my want and need to go. Speaking on the weather, it was a blessing in my eyes, the photos are really something with the gloomy wet conditions. 50mm is tough one for me, It's either wider or 85mm and higher. Wiat, I had no idea there was a lab here in Kansas. I always send mine to Tennessee or something like that.
I'm gearing up to start spooling my own Vision3 500t....and developing it. I think with film prices, especially for color....this initial investment will pay off!!
My friend, who is a singer and does broadway, recently told me that menthol in cough drops (the numbing bit) can dry out the vocal cords/vocal folds, so if the Halls you were sucking down had the menthol (which is pretty much in most cough drops) to help rest your voice, that might actually not be as helpful for doing that. Might be worth doing some research on good ways to remedy that/recover from that if you ever have to do a podcast marathon again!
@@BadFlashes Just a few hours ago, a friend to my dad, gifted me both a Canon AE-1, and a Holga 120. Both are in pretty good shape too. Suddenly, I’m pretty well off for some film shooting. Just need to find some abandoned places to try them out. 😅
I always think, ‘I should shoot the 50 more on the Leica’, then I take off the 21-35, put on the 50 and back up 20 feet .. , so .. like why shoot a 50?

Aw thanks so much!!! I definitely appreciated it so much :)

The film and developing bills of both your channels must be massive.😱
I mean, if you don’t look at it… does it exist????
@@BadFlashes 😂😂😂 A wise choice.

I like how you post your videos one week later from Jasons. It's like a deja vu. But not as confusing.
Hahaha happy to give you deja vu lol

Great video 🎉 I did a review on the Konica recorder 👌👌spoiler, it’s an awesome camera 👏
Ah that’s cool!!!! I love it so far
What does the release schedule for Mamiyamigos look like?
Once a month … maybe there is one tomorrow 🤷🏼😆

Didn’t notice it actually but I’m sure you can color correct it out. Depending on your scans
where are your podcasts? I can't find them on your website
Most everywhere podcasts are consumed. And then, of course, the video portion is on TH-cam. Mamiyamigos
@@BadFlashes thanks found it. I don’t ever listen to podcasts ever but your vids made me want to start
😍😍😍😍 hope you enjoy
Feel like the sound and music is underappreciated in the comments. Love it.

Great video but one quick question: what’s a “Metro”?
Haha the subway??
@@BadFlashes Ah, thank you for clarifying!
Great video! But I am a bit disappointed there is no black void of contemplation at the end!
Oh sorry. Maybe next time haha
@@BadFlashes Love the outro animations btw! Looking forward to those podcast episodes! :D
Dope!!!!!!
‘I’m not sure why the Hopper bag is in focus and Jason isn’t” - ahhhh the good old mju ii
hahah yeah im finding that out
Camera focuses on the most interesting subject?
Follow Mamiyamigos podcast ✅
yay!
I think that art exhibit needs one of Jason's toilet photos.
yeah im thinking so!
