i read aricles that both, sugar cane and olive oil delivered squalene can variate in their purity from 75 percent to 94. shark liver is from 98-99 (but nobody wants that!!). Olive squalene may contain sterol esters and parrafin after hydrogenation. Sugar cane may contain isosqualane and monocyclosqualane (Study from ACS OMEGA in 2017). the skin absorbs both the SAME WAY, BUT there might be slightly differences in the texture The ordinary squalane is from sugar cane and beets (I wrote them an email) and it is organic and cheaper. I think this brand is too expensive, sorry. Just add some organic roseship oil to it and you have a super nice product. the eye cream also is way too expensive!

Great company, terrific and effective products at prices I can afford, so I keep coming back. As someone with very sensitive skin, I appreciate being able to buy one active ingredient at a time.
Late reply lol... I've used it in the past, and the only reason I am not right now is because the price point is too high for my current budget. It's so beautiful, I loved applying it and my skin felt nourished and pampered. So, is it worth the $75 price tag if you are looking only for utilitarian performance of a hydrating vitamin c? Eh, I think you can find a perfectly fine alternative that keeps you hydrated and delivers vitamin c, as I have now. Do I miss using Biossance's version? Yes, everyday.
Loooove that toner! it’s sooo good on my sensitive combo skin 💚 keeps my skin calm, my pores clean and gunk free, zero dryness cuz of the beautiful Squalane but dries down not oily or sticky at all! Definitely give it a try :)

100% Squalane oil costs about the same per ounce on both Ordinary and Biossance sites.
