Thanks for posting this. I'm a huge fan of Peter Brock. Australia's best and most popular race driver. Like everyone else on the planet he had some personal issues but that wasn't the Peter Australians fell in love with.
I've just now learned of this man and his legend (I'm an ignorant Canadian). He went the only way a racing hero should go. Instant icon. Cast in amber. Or crystal, I guess. As the marketing joke goes, "Peter has died in a race car crash." " Great career move!" He is now more legendary than he could ever have been had he been allowed to get old. So, well done, sir.

Peter Brock's death changed many people. And it changed motorsport.
Motorsport in this country will never be the same.
