Jacob Wells I’ve got a 1.6KD casual player who’s on and off cod but still got a steady aim. I’ve been playing this game for the last 3 weeks after a few months and damn the amount of high level players you see camping for streaks is crazy! There’s no shame in camping in S&D but when it’s fucking hardpoint and you have no time in the pit too. I think that’s pretty embarrassing to be honest if you’re a call of duty gamer
I am having an extremely hard time man, sometimes I feel like Im fucking blind because I watch the replay of me getting killed and they can see me totally clear but Im looking around and I cant see shit
yea, I turned my brightness up to 60 and it helped, but the game dont look as good. I also started using the hybrid 4x scope that switches to holographic for closer range. That helped as well. Arklov peak is the worst for me. Everyone blends in with everything in the map, lol.

You must find a spot near the enemie spawn to shoot them in the back. that is for me Camping and not hiding in all cornes and edges...
Easy XP. Easy Weapon XP. I'll admit to being a camper in mw3. Was my play style for a while, I'd come out of most games with an awesome KD. But after 3 games I was bored out of my mind. Then I thought I'd give the MP7 a try. Changed my play style completely. My KD suffered initially but soon came back and instead of playing for an hour and getting bored I could play all day.
I've played countless games that ended with 35-40 kills after the time runs out. Starts out as 1 team camping spawn and the other just rushing in and dying. Then they catch on and start camping their spawn and kill someone from long range or catch someone running in the open. The game is trash

I only played it once in the beginning when I got the game and was only playing TDM to get a feel for it on regular core. Now it's not in the lineup at all I don't get it
Yeah, I've won so many games of Kill Confirmed just because the enemy (although is getting way more kills than us) will camp and never go for the tags. This game is pathetic.
The fact that your team conversations are on the same channel as the enemies is ridiculous. In Overwatch they tested this and decided to have separate channels for each team so enemies wouldn’t hear vulnerable dialogue. The cod team has to do this to be in the competitive scene
Exactly I was having a terrible match and just checked the leaderboard and I was 2nd even though I had like 6 kills and a negative k/d. This was nearing the end of the match too.
This game I've seen the most TDM matches that haven't hit the score limit and we're only one week in. I think TDM not reaching the score limit is very telling.

Lobby full of campers..me running trying to find someone: Spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn.. enemy vtol..spawn, spawn, spawn, spawn, enemy chopper..this game encourages nothing but camping. The maps are designed to hold an area down. Hard to flank or have any strategy When 1 they hear you spawn, 2 there’s not a lot of ways to navigate the maps without having to cross large sections of open field at a snails pace

Crom it’s not that easy, many times you encounter them for the first time, so unless you run restock you won’t be throwing c4 into every room you enter, the main problem is when you don’t know they’re there, that’s when it’s a problem, if you know where they are it’s easy, I was talking about campers I didnt and couldn’t have known were there, not ones that I knew the location of
Just add some sort of perk such as escalation from CoD WW2, where getting a kill speeds up your ADS for a short period of time, then multikills refill your magazine and speed up your health regen.

i camp in this game. I get chopper gunners. I go on high kill streaks, 23 has been the highest. i've had free for all matches with zero deaths. camping is the ultimate way to play this game. I have more kills with the 725 than i have with all the other guns combined. I have more kills with my claymores than i have with most guns. I love making the rushing sweats rage by putting them in their place.They slide cancel around the map y-ying but it's nothing compared to the camping tactics i've come up with for every map. My favorite thing to do is camping for my streaks and dropping the vtol, the white phosphorus and the support helo at the same time. I've gotten 15 kills with that sometimes in seconds with those streaks. Cope
The marksman rifle in this game is way too damn easy to use and that’s all I die by. Used to be my fav rifle class because it used to take skill to kill with one. Now it fires like a shotgun and it’s stupid.
I'm an extremely average player and I kinda do a hybrid camp/rush thing and even I think they've made camping far too easy. And they definitely need to rework the spawn points.

What’s crazy is sometimes on your screen you won’t see someone but on their screen they see you. I got killed the other day aiming at someone who’s helmet was barely poking over the fence but when he killed me and I saw the kill cam he was actually mounted on the fence and Half his body was showing. They really need to fix that it happens on a lot of areas multiple maps. Only happened to me like 5 times but still.

Free for all on crash literally made me want to murder everyone in the lobby. In that instance they were sniping not really camping, but I was the only one running around. After 3 minutes the top of the leaderboard only had 6 kills

I was a torque player but i would never camp lol. I would use his fence ect to block lanes to control the map and flow. But most torque players were campers tho.

It's such a fucking drag to get over they're after getting killed a couple of times to finally get where's he's at just to find out he already died and all you face is a enemy tank with a whole squad of snipers with C4's spawning from it its just not worth it. The way I combat corner campers and snipers is clearing out rat dens and camping holding down a base, camping, not crouching in one spot all game, they're is a difference. It's better to move with a solid squad that know's they're shit, check your surroundings go upstairs go outside or just peek the windows if you got a small peepee, go on the rooftop but not for too long or you'll get sniped, and when the coast is clear rush to the next objective through objects like shipping containers FAST before 4 enemys spawn on a highway or building on top of you filled with noob campers. Run C4 and the Kilo with a 100 drum mag on that hoe plus the suppresor and apply that pressure my nigga
Gun skill is your ability to reliably use your preferred weapon, have you considered that you are actually the unskilled one because you are unable to adapt to win against someone with the exact opposite of your play style. If you had skill you wouldn't be complaining about campers *shrug

I'm seeing a lot of campers online brag about how good their K/Ds and killstreaks are. If you're a camper, both of those stats are completely invalid. It takes literally zero skill to throw down an claymore, sit in a corner with a M4, and wait for players to run by you. This game is barely playable when compared to BO2 or classic MW. Absolute horseshit.
I think people playing for their KD work the game, they dont play it. I played for stats once, got out of the game 15-3, solid 5.00KD, it was the worst game of my life. You know how long a game feels when all you do is sit in the corner and wait for a player to come by? Bruh. matches where Im going 0-5 against other players are fun, matches where im going 0-5 against people who only feel good when their back is against two walls, their tent is pitched and their tea is ready arent.

Tactical. Mount my m4 on the window. I see an enemy crouching around a car trying to slowly inch forward. Fool, he should have thought about tactics more and checked every single obscure window on the map before running around like a headless chicken. 4 shots is all it takes. My first kill. This is so exciting and fun! I hear my claymore go off in the background. Ive claimed another victim. These enemies are total noobs, no tactics at all! Now that my claymore is gone i should move to the room right next to me. Smart tactics. Watch the each side of the hallway for 60 seconds each to make sure its clear. Tactics. I sprint 5 feet to the other other room. That was jaw clenching! I should dial it back, im moving around too aggressively. Mount my m4 on the window. Wait and scan. Its been 3 minutes and i havent engaged anyone. Should i move to a different locat- NO WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE POWER POSITION DONT GIVE IT UP TO RUN TO ANOTHER BUILDING LIKE A HEADLESS CHICKEN! Sometimes its hard to keep myself in check. claim 2 more kills with my superior tactics before the match reaches its time limit. Im suprised allot of matches have been ending from the time limit rather than kill count. Wonder why that is... What a fun, exciting match that was! Those 5 kills over 10 minutes really showcase my tactical skills. Load up another match and repeat my tried and true strategy. 9 kills this time. Headless chickens the lot of them. They are no match for my tactics. I can hear their footsteps from 50 feet away. And im not even wearing a headset. Load another match. I set up shop near a window. Dont move. Moving means certain death. I should play the game the way its designed to play: being tactical. Load up another match. Dont move. Tell myself im having fun with this tactical playstyle. What I miss is actually earning calling cards through skill or pulling off a specific task - no matter how cool a calling card looks in the recent CoD's.......just wait and rank up. Takes all the fun and cool-factor out of getting calling cards...
Every soldier should have a earpiece, where you can whisper enemy locations inside so you whole team can hear it on the same frequency. Its modern warfare. You shouldn't yell in a warzone where everyone wants to kill you. If you want to hear enemy chatter there should be a perk that lets you hack enemy frequenzy and listen to the chatter

@John Marston It's because all of the guns shoot like a laser and the time to kill is ludicrously quick and the maps are filled with nooks. That's why the first person to spot/shoot the other players wins 95%+ of the guns fights. It's rewarding not just the campers but the players that "post up", or play slow. It's tailored for the lower skilled players and it makes high skilled vs high skilled boring because there is no real gun play at all or nuance, due to the ridiculous time to kill.
Maxi Delevingne “slow, tactical gameplay” should be reserved for games like R6, insurgency sandstorm, csgo, etc. not cod. Cod has always been a fast paced arcade shooter with maps that cater to that playstyle except for a few exceptions (ghosts). Why try to fix something that isn’t broke?

I might need a better tent soon due to all of the bullet holes it has now. Currently holding a 6 killstreak while my teammates are dying constantly. I legit quit MW because the camping in this game was horrible. Playing realism or hardcore was worst. The stages are so quiet, because EVERYONE is sitting in a corner waiting for a rusher.
movement speed is fine but sprint out time and ads time needs to be reduced (do those things faster) if theres no quickdraw perk or gung ho or whatever. the call outs are absolute cancer. footsteps sound like you have cinderblocks for feet.
I've been from BO1 mostly an aggressive rusher and i've managed in every CoD with that play style.. until MW and the fact that i can't play fast paced and being punished by doing so, makes me feel uncomfortable so that's why this game was a huge let down.

What's even more enjoyable than that is repeatedly killing some sweaty tryhard who keeps returning to my area, not realizing I tactically move from my former position to one overlooking that position. They also need to tweak the weapon customization so that nearly every attachment won't slow your movement speed. If you put extended mags on the smgs you're speed is cut to ar speeds and if you put a different stock on that also effects movement speed, you will now have slow as ass lmg or sniper movement speed but with an smg, completely defeating their intended purpose, which is mobile combat. It ridiculous, like the game doesn't want you to move at all lol. I don't think the attachments should have any major cons like that, especially to movement speed.
i don't think they should have cons... at least like the majority of them like, most sights (not optics) grips, barrels (Except suppressors), stocks, hand grips, and small mags should NOT be punished in any way... BIG extended mags and optics should definitely still have the cons as well as some of the longer/extended barrels

I agree bc My 2nd fav weapons are LMGs and TBH it's almost DAMN near impossible to go up against the enemy op running around... Unless you have a good position with a bipod for them to run into bullets but then you are called a camper bc you using a heavy weapon 😂
TBH, after trying out numerous combinations of weapon attachments, I refuse to take anything that has negative ADS speed or movement speed. Most of my guns are 1-2 attachments with a perk on top. It's a garbage and overcomplicated system that just feels bad.

The game is aesthetically realistic but still plays much like the classic arcade casual shooter people love cod for despite the new unloved map designs thus far. Given how much of a speed penalty you get when equipping certain attachments, it completely negates the use of the weapons. Going from a 30 round mag from to a 45 round mag or a different stock on an otherwise lightweight smg should not reduce you to lmg/sniper movement speeds, that's ridiculous even when comparing to real life.
It's still such a problem. I have never had so little fun in a cod. The maps are to camper friendly. The new ones are even worse. 60 bucks out the window imo.

It’s the loud footsteps. You can’t even walk normal, and enemy knows exactly where you coming from. If they take that away, the game will change dramatically.
I've heard myself pretty clearly while having dead silence active on a killcam before in this game. Dead silence should be just that - dead silent. Not, 'just a touch quieter but everybody with a headset can still hear you in most scenarios'
I literally just downloaded this game (December 19 2019) and I played 1 multiplayer match and instantly regretted waiting 50$ and 100+ gbs of space.. because I couldn’t find a single enemy until I was passing a window and got smoked without seeing who killed me. Camping is a problem and they’ve just opened the door to a weak play style. They catered to children and claimed the game was going to be the best FPS? What a joke.

I run and gun on HC and my worst enemy in other games were claymores/IEDs, things of that nature. Now that players are acting like human IEDs I die by them constantly. It’s ridiculous how anyone finds camping fun at all. All I see are kill streaks being used by people who don’t earn them and it’s sad... going 15+ matches without ever seeing a spawn swap is crazy
My play style is run and gun, it always has been and cause of it on games like bo2 i used to pull nukes all the time and go on crazy streaks, even in ww2 i could do this due to the small map sizes and especially hardcore but in mw i try to run and gun and i find myself getting less than 10 kills a game (ik very shit lol) but its cause i will do the normal jump around a corner and before i can take one shot i either get shotgunned or claymored, i could play slower but i really dont find that fun and its dissapointing as this is one of the best COD games in years 🤷♂️😒
like a sniper user, I think the problem is the map design. There are a lot of obstacles were people can crush and hides, waiting for other players. It’s hard find a long view were you can use the sniper.

I’ve been playing this game for the last 3 weeks after a few months and damn the amount of high level players you see camping for streaks is crazy! There’s no shame in camping in S&D but when it’s fucking hardpoint and you have no time in the pit too. I think that’s pretty embarrassing to be honest if you’re a call of duty gamer

yea, I turned my brightness up to 60 and it helped, but the game dont look as good. I also started using the hybrid 4x scope that switches to holographic for closer range. That helped as well. Arklov peak is the worst for me. Everyone blends in with everything in the map, lol.

Easy XP. Easy Weapon XP. I'll admit to being a camper in mw3. Was my play style for a while, I'd come out of most games with an awesome KD. But after 3 games I was bored out of my mind. Then I thought I'd give the MP7 a try. Changed my play style completely. My KD suffered initially but soon came back and instead of playing for an hour and getting bored I could play all day.

I've played countless games that ended with 35-40 kills after the time runs out. Starts out as 1 team camping spawn and the other just rushing in and dying. Then they catch on and start camping their spawn and kill someone from long range or catch someone running in the open. The game is trash

The fact that your team conversations are on the same channel as the enemies is ridiculous. In Overwatch they tested this and decided to have separate channels for each team so enemies wouldn’t hear vulnerable dialogue. The cod team has to do this to be in the competitive scene

Hard to flank or have any strategy When 1 they hear you spawn, 2 there’s not a lot of ways to navigate the maps without having to cross large sections of open field at a snails pace

i camp in this game. I get chopper gunners. I go on high kill streaks, 23 has been the highest. i've had free for all matches with zero deaths. camping is the ultimate way to play this game. I have more kills with the 725 than i have with all the other guns combined. I have more kills with my claymores than i have with most guns. I love making the rushing sweats rage by putting them in their place.They slide cancel around the map y-ying but it's nothing compared to the camping tactics i've come up with for every map. My favorite thing to do is camping for my streaks and dropping the vtol, the white phosphorus and the support helo at the same time. I've gotten 15 kills with that sometimes in seconds with those streaks. Cope

What’s crazy is sometimes on your screen you won’t see someone but on their screen they see you. I got killed the other day aiming at someone who’s helmet was barely poking over the fence but when he killed me and I saw the kill cam he was actually mounted on the fence and Half his body was showing. They really need to fix that it happens on a lot of areas multiple maps. Only happened to me like 5 times but still.

It's such a fucking drag to get over they're after getting killed a couple of times to finally get where's he's at just to find out he already died and all you face is a enemy tank with a whole squad of snipers with C4's spawning from it its just not worth it. The way I combat corner campers and snipers is clearing out rat dens and camping holding down a base, camping, not crouching in one spot all game, they're is a difference. It's better to move with a solid squad that know's they're shit, check your surroundings go upstairs go outside or just peek the windows if you got a small peepee, go on the rooftop but not for too long or you'll get sniped, and when the coast is clear rush to the next objective through objects like shipping containers FAST before 4 enemys spawn on a highway or building on top of you filled with noob campers. Run C4 and the Kilo with a 100 drum mag on that hoe plus the suppresor and apply that pressure my nigga

I'm seeing a lot of campers online brag about how good their K/Ds and killstreaks are. If you're a camper, both of those stats are completely invalid. It takes literally zero skill to throw down an claymore, sit in a corner with a M4, and wait for players to run by you. This game is barely playable when compared to BO2 or classic MW. Absolute horseshit.

I'm so used to running and gunning it's been a shock to see people playing so passively. This game rewards a passive playstyle way too much and its really not gonna be an easy fix.

Exactly how I felt!! By far the map I dislike the most, I feel like every single death I have on that map is by a camper in some weird spot I literally can not see. Theres so much going on in that map with all the cover and weird lines of sight and it’s super confusing. Goona take a while to learn that map

Every soldier should have a earpiece, where you can whisper enemy locations inside so you whole team can hear it on the same frequency. Its modern warfare. You shouldn't yell in a warzone where everyone wants to kill you.
If you want to hear enemy chatter there should be a perk that lets you hack enemy frequenzy and listen to the chatter

@John Marston It's because all of the guns shoot like a laser and the time to kill is ludicrously quick and the maps are filled with nooks. That's why the first person to spot/shoot the other players wins 95%+ of the guns fights. It's rewarding not just the campers but the players that "post up", or play slow. It's tailored for the lower skilled players and it makes high skilled vs high skilled boring because there is no real gun play at all or nuance, due to the ridiculous time to kill.

Maxi Delevingne “slow, tactical gameplay” should be reserved for games like R6, insurgency sandstorm, csgo, etc. not cod. Cod has always been a fast paced arcade shooter with maps that cater to that playstyle except for a few exceptions (ghosts). Why try to fix something that isn’t broke?

I legit quit MW because the camping in this game was horrible. Playing realism or hardcore was worst. The stages are so quiet, because EVERYONE is sitting in a corner waiting for a rusher.
Needed Additions:
-Classic Mini Map
-Huge Adjustment to footstep volume
-Increase movement speed
-Dead Silence Perk
-Remove callouts
And remove skill based Matchmaking

movement speed is fine but sprint out time and ads time needs to be reduced (do those things faster) if theres no quickdraw perk or gung ho or whatever. the call outs are absolute cancer. footsteps sound like you have cinderblocks for feet.

I've been from BO1 mostly an aggressive rusher and i've managed in every CoD with that play style.. until MW and the fact that i can't play fast paced and being punished by doing so, makes me feel uncomfortable so that's why this game was a huge let down.

They also need to tweak the weapon customization so that nearly every attachment won't slow your movement speed. If you put extended mags on the smgs you're speed is cut to ar speeds and if you put a different stock on that also effects movement speed, you will now have slow as ass lmg or sniper movement speed but with an smg, completely defeating their intended purpose, which is mobile combat. It ridiculous, like the game doesn't want you to move at all lol. I don't think the attachments should have any major cons like that, especially to movement speed.
i don't think they should have cons... at least like the majority of them like, most sights (not optics) grips, barrels (Except suppressors), stocks, hand grips, and small mags should NOT be punished in any way... BIG extended mags and optics should definitely still have the cons as well as some of the longer/extended barrels

TBH, after trying out numerous combinations of weapon attachments, I refuse to take anything that has negative ADS speed or movement speed. Most of my guns are 1-2 attachments with a perk on top. It's a garbage and overcomplicated system that just feels bad.

The game is aesthetically realistic but still plays much like the classic arcade casual shooter people love cod for despite the new unloved map designs thus far. Given how much of a speed penalty you get when equipping certain attachments, it completely negates the use of the weapons. Going from a 30 round mag from to a 45 round mag or a different stock on an otherwise lightweight smg should not reduce you to lmg/sniper movement speeds, that's ridiculous even when comparing to real life.

I've heard myself pretty clearly while having dead silence active on a killcam before in this game. Dead silence should be just that - dead silent. Not, 'just a touch quieter but everybody with a headset can still hear you in most scenarios'

I literally just downloaded this game (December 19 2019) and I played 1 multiplayer match and instantly regretted waiting 50$ and 100+ gbs of space.. because I couldn’t find a single enemy until I was passing a window and got smoked without seeing who killed me. Camping is a problem and they’ve just opened the door to a weak play style. They catered to children and claimed the game was going to be the best FPS? What a joke.

I run and gun on HC and my worst enemy in other games were claymores/IEDs, things of that nature. Now that players are acting like human IEDs I die by them constantly. It’s ridiculous how anyone finds camping fun at all. All I see are kill streaks being used by people who don’t earn them and it’s sad... going 15+ matches without ever seeing a spawn swap is crazy

My play style is run and gun, it always has been and cause of it on games like bo2 i used to pull nukes all the time and go on crazy streaks, even in ww2 i could do this due to the small map sizes and especially hardcore but in mw i try to run and gun and i find myself getting less than 10 kills a game (ik very shit lol) but its cause i will do the normal jump around a corner and before i can take one shot i either get shotgunned or claymored, i could play slower but i really dont find that fun and its dissapointing as this is one of the best COD games in years 🤷♂️😒
