This gives me the itch to build a van with my wife. We have been researching a second home on wheels for a few years now. I really think building is the way to go. Mind me asking the cost? Van price. Build price?

Thanks for the comment. Our van cost us $10,000, it was used 2005. We were lucky it had very low miles and no rust or damage. I wish I had taken better track on what we spent on total, we feel we spent almost $5000 on the build. It depends on your wants and needs. It adds up quick. I’m always thinking and buying things for the van. So the cost is always accumulating. Lol
