I was at this concert. I was a student who went to see it. We laughed for a few reasons. 1) These guys are funny - they try to be. Unlike most college acappella groups, the group has a lot of physical comedy when they sing. They're just funny. 2) We were really impressed. The choreography, the music, it was all really good, so we cheered. This was a college concert meant for us to have fun. 3) A lot of people in the crowd know these people personally. Friends, family, frat brothers.
This is much as any audience cold hope to receive at a performance. To be entertained, and to connect with the performers. I am sure everyone left this perfomance lifted. The music was speaking to everyones soul.
I'm glad the audience is there, because that is exactly how i feel watching this video, i'm laughing and clapping and cheering to my computer. LOVE you guys so much.
If you've ever actually been to an A cappella concert, the energy that the audience gives can really make or break a concert, they were doing this for the audience and not for youtube.
I am in love with these guys! I just spent more than an hour listening to all their stuff. They are smart, funny and have great voices. What more does one want? I hope that wherever they are they are still singing!
I think that they are awesome singers! I can't quit listening to them. As a musician, I find their music so unique. I like how they insert humor in their talent.
I love audiences like this...before it would annoy me but what my chorus teacher said stuck with me...its a sign you are doing a good job when you engage the audience like this. They did such a good job.
I never comment, but this deserves a comment. Great vocals, great tribute to one of Disney's finest productions, and good lord you guys are funny! Hope you still sing together these days!
this was real good. i know its a pain when you cant hear them very well on here. but when you are preforming, this is the response you want to get. i think you did an awesome job. watched it 3 times, and laughed harder each time. awesome. brings back a lot of memories from my school days. thank you
To be honest, I like hearing the audience while watching this. You can really tell they enjoy it, and they're SUPPOSED to...these guys are both talented and very funny. I think the audience's reactions add to the atmosphere, truthfully.
i saw these guys perform this number just a few weeks ago. when the audience is laughing and you can't see anything funny going on it usually means that something humorous is happening where the camera didn't catch. they were very funny! =) i actually thought it was a lot better in person
oh my gosh I love watching you guys perform on TH-cam! All of your voices are amazing, your impersinations are excellent, your coreography is great, your jokes are hilarious, and most importantly you act like a team! Bravo! Bravo! Keep up your awesome work!

The first soloist did fine in my opinion :P I gotta say, I personally think the men's octet back then is better than they seem to be now, from the videos I have seen. These guys just had a sense of taste and style- you need more than good voices for a good group. Great job!

Also, AP World History required us to be familiar with the map of the world. Sadly, before that freshmen year of high school, I wasn't aware of where most countries were, because American education has long stopped placing importance on geography. o;

This wasn't intended to be recorded to be posted on TH-cam, and the audience is enjoying themselves seems to be the most common statement. :D I would hate to be expected to be stifle it during a show that's this fun!

I fucking LOVE that you went with the broadway version, yeeees. Also, I do not hate the audience because if I was watching this live, I'd have the same reaction (Hell, I'm at home and I'm still like YEAH) You guys have some great stuff, singing and dancing included. Hell to the yeah.
