I tend to go two Posses and one Large Booster (faction), though you need a good Battlecruiser Engineering and one powergrid rig. The reason is that you can run two Posse and the weapons without your capacity dipping.
Finally! I've been waiting for you to do this for a while. I think I'm going to build both the Hurricane and Cyclone and see which one I like better and then sell the other one.
As long as you're not making medium rapid build for the cyclone you'll be golden, but there's a patch coming up that's going to nerf the light missles and medium rapids and buff auto cannons, and railguns
@@kennyutoob light missiles as well, they're nerfing light missiles-rapids fire light missiles. They wont become useless, they just wont be completely broken like they are now.

That fit is expensive lol. I think Benzie is aiming at ship viability within cost. Not everyone is loaded like you although I appreciate that build, its a fantastic one
I use a very similar long range fit on my Ferox (except using railguns of course). I just orbit the anomaly marker and turn everything within my orbit into Swiss cheese. It takes longer to collect the loot than to clear the anomaly.
I'm primarily a bomber pilot, so currently I only have 3 lvls in adv railgun ops/upgrade so I can farm hulls for salvage. I get 32km optimal, 16.5km falloff cold and can start doing cold damage around 60km range
Ferox is a cool ship, I’m running up close and personal with mine. Super quick to clear anoms, gonna try the long range fit next, but so far the brawler build is awesome
Great video, do you have one for the Cyclone? And can you maybe do a video or provide a list of the mechanical rigs? I dont see a list for just those and already accidentally bought one when i thought it was a powered rig. Or am i missing some sort of designator on the description? Thanks in advance
The computers have a 10sec duration, so if you activate just before the cannons fire, you get 2 "boosted" shots with them. If you activate the stabilizers just before and cycle the computers, you can get 4 boosted shots (0, 10, 20, 30) in a row.

Funny story about this ship, we were in a DeadSpace 10, I was using Sequential Firing vs all the reds, (6 cannons firing one after the other queued up for non stop fire) I was actually doing so much damage to all the Elites, that only our Fleet was getting the Ticks because I was always the one killing em 🤣... Sorry about that again btw 😅
Pretty much exactly my strike build. You can run all your gyro's though and not even look at your cap. If i am doing group ops, I just run 3 gyros and have almost 100% gyro active.

The best missile battlecruiser that you can access at t7 is the cyclone The absolute best, is the drake, which is a t8 caldari battlecruiser if we're talking base battlecruisers

I love flying Canes, Benzie! I use strikes and dual posse invulnes and a dealer mwd. I have medium cannon trained to into expert so hitting close isn't a problem as I get to range. The grid on this Ship lol. I have a couple ancilleries in the engineering rigs for those strike cannon, but being able to hit at 75km without the tracking computers in the lows is huge. Dual invulns let's you get to range :)

Skilled specifically for the hurricane and flying it. Love the ship it’s a beast. Sat in mining belt in null at 0km 10 ship gank jumped into belt long story short there’s 10 wrecks in that belt. Capacitor is stable and running auto cannons
Today is a sad day.... my Hurricane prototype fell in Battle, got Ganked returning to base, Took out a Dramiel, but fell to 6 Cowards.... couldn't move, they had me webbed.. they got under my guns, I fell... kinda annoyed :(
@@captainbenzie I was Defending our Corps Tunnel( Our way from Null sec to Jita/Highsec) was a good fight, I'm not a bloodthirsty player... I stopped one ganker from Invading our patch, the rest of the fleet ran like cowards after I fell.... plus i won the ISK war by about 40-50M ISK..
I think this build is overkill on keeping things at range. Your cannons can hit stuff with one stasis… never mind all the other stuff. You could of freed up two low slots and two mid slots for other stuff imo.
Love the video. I think I know a fix for why the drone is misbehaving. Ive noticed that when I lock up my field before my drones are in range, they do what yours is, so I just relaunch them and they behave from there

when you activate the gyrostabilizers there is also a better bonus to the activation time if you get a better version.
I think its a dmg boost hot also from like 5 to 9% with the c types
The difference between a Mk1 gyro and the better versions, are the bonuses when hot, and the cold activation time adjustment.

if you throw 1 range II rig and a range low slot how much range can you get strike cannons up too?
3 range II rig + 3 tracking computer will get you 39+43 km up to total 160 km

For strike build, switch 1 tracking computer to a mwd and the shield booster to a third gyro. Stay @45 to 50km and be fine.
