- Zakk wanted a bow to go out have some fun and shoot some extreme long distance with. He decided on the Hoyt Ventum Pro 33. In this video we go over the specs of the bow, let you know why he chose this bow, we walk you through our shop and pick out all of the accessories, let you know why we chose them, and we take you step by step as we build this bow out, tune it and chronograph it. Just picked up my Ventum Pro 30...I have a 29" draw and wanted to maximize the top end of the draw so I went with the 30" bow...Set @ 82#'s and shooting 675 gr. FMJ's Dangerous Game...Getting 250 fps with a KE of 93lbs...At 50 yds it has more energy than a 460 gr. arrow at 300 fps at 40 yds that I get out of my Mathews VXR...It'll go straight thru a Cape 🐃...Bring on the steaks!! Btw, this is the deadest and quietest 🤫 bow I've ever shot and I thought my PSE EVO EVL was quiet...I'm shooting crazy heavy arrows at a crazy weight and it feels like I'm releasing a slingshot!

i just picked up my ventum pro 33 as well and love it!! went with the HHA tetra max and UV3XL sight, epsilon (got the last one on the shelf) RL1 3 arrow quiver. I flipped the mounting bracket for the quiver upside down and got the quiver super tight! great video guys, hope you love the 33 as much as i do!

What did the center shot end up at on the Ventum Pro 33?
Was just in your shop on Sat. Got to shoot 4 different bows and decided on the v3x. Went with rl2 site, rl1 quiver, and will likely go with hamskea trinity. Just waiting on my green ambush bow. Cody, can you build and tune mine?

do you make lower nock set with more wraps than top
Where did you end up measurement-wise on centershot? I've got a VTM 34 that is centered perfectly with the limb bolts at 5/8ths of an inch, at 13/16th the arrow looks like it's going to come out sideways. I perfectly center the rest by backing the limb bolts out enough to get string around them, (remove sights/stabilizer, ect) tying it in a tight loop between them and then adjusting the arrow dead center between the strings of this loop.

I currently shoot a solution, I've been on the hoyt website looking at bows, this one mainly. What's your opinion, Zack and cody?
The Ventum has been good to us and performed and tuned exceptionally well. At 29" we are getting good speeds with a 445g arrow. Zakk shot this bow out to 120 yards the other day just messing around when he was getting it sighted in, so he's a fan.
Hoyt sucks...WAY overrated
Those sticks DOESN'T keep the bottom cam off the ground...That's a waste of money unless you're going to carry a piece of cardboard to put under the cam...The only things that work are the Mathews Engage Limbs...Why other companies can't do something similar is baffling to me...
