    My oldest son has the Ventum Pro 33, that is a great shooting bow! Our crew has Redline accessories, my Revolt XL hunting rig has the RL-1 carbon 3 pin sight. We couldn't be happier with Redline so far, great quality at an unbeatable price point.

      That's awesome! The price point and quality on the Redline accessories is tough to beat.

      Hope it's good as a target bow...... distance is almost 130 meters

    I was at my local shop and seen a red line sight.. it looked like a really good site and the machining on it was very nice looking.. looks like a solid sight

    Nice yard to shoot 3D. I have to go to my archery club to shoot like that. And my bowtech revolt is shooting great.

    I got my Hoyt Venom 33 last year. Absolutely love the way it shoots. I have been watching video after video praise the new Venom Pro 33 and part of me wants to go shoot it…lol

      Hahah don't do it. You might end up walking away with another bow 😂

      @@extremeoutfitters I know! I would be walking out of the shop with another fully decked-out bow. Then, of course, I would have to buy more practice arrows for this bow and for the bow case. Along with new broadheads…lol

    I’m usually a Hoyt guy but I just picked up a Mathews V3X 29 and even with my 29” draw it is super comfortable, has a great string angle and is shooting dead nuts. I’m expecting my new Hoyt Ventum Pro in Buckskin to arrive within a few days. If it shoots as well as the Mathews (and I’m confident that it will) I’m going to have one helluva tough time deciding which one I will bring to the deer/elk woods with me. What a great conundrum to be in.😢😊

    • @MIsportsman
      @MIsportsman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ventum is much quieter then the v3x and has a better draw cycle / back wall. Both great choices

      @@MIsportsmanYep. Got my Ventum Pro 33 set up and dialed in and it is a shooter. I still have the V3X but it is now one of my backup bows along with my Hoyt Carbon Defiant 34. It seems that when I leave to go to the Range I always grab the VP 33. It settles and holds on target faster and steadier than any other bow that I’ve owned or shot. I am now considering the Alpha X 33 due to some of the new technology and improvements in the cam design. I have to admit that I’m kind of a bow junkie and the new riser on the Alpha X 33 looks sexy as Hell. Getting ready to head to my buddy’s shop (Great Northwest Archery in Puyallup, Wa.) to shoot the new Alpha X 33 side by side with the Mathews Lift 33 and my Ventum Pro 33 and decide whether or not either of those would make me want to invest in a new bow this year. I may end up waiting until next year because I’m getting a full knee replacement next week and I don’t know that I’ll be doing much hunting this Fall.

    I’ve been using the Elite Ritual 33 for two years for 3-d and hunting. At 3-d it’s set up like a full target rig ( long front stab & back bar with weight added) and for hunting short front 10” stab with 8” back bar. CBE tl3 slider with .010 fiber optics. With a little “ tweaking” it will do 425 grains at 270-272 fps. 62#’s at 28”. It’s not a SPEED bow nor a macho 300 win- mag set up at all. It does bow arrows 100% thru big bucks and hogs. The thing is folks it’s not necessarily the high weight arrows hauling ass at 299 fps at 72+ #’s- ITS WHERE THE ARROW HITS! Getting a new bow is so sweet & awesome but you really really need to shoot that bow so much you know every little nuisance of it. It needs to become an extension of your mindset. Enjoyed your video here and GOOD LUCK with your new setup this fall. 👍👍👀👀👀👀👀

    Nothing like finding a bow that just plain ol shoots great and holds steady. I believe too that some bows fit a particular persons body and draw length combination better than others. For about 3 years now I’ve been using a Ritual 33 and everything about it just fits me. I hardly ever used to practice at more than 60 but now I will sling some arrows tp 80 just for the heck of it. I’m happy if the hits are inside 8”. There’s no doubt doing some quality shooting at extended distances ( out of your comfort zone) makes you really focus on getting your form right. It also will lead to building your confidence in your ability to control the shot, not just sling arrows across the pasture. One way to enhance quality shooting is to make a game of distance shooting by betting $ with your buddies. lol. I enjoyed your video here. 👍👍👀👀

    Just wondering while I was watching your TH-cam show on the hoyt ventum pro 33 bow build review, while you were shooting I noticed you were sweating quite a bit and the terrain around you looks like Florida could be wrong do you guys have a bow shop in Florida? And if you do where is it located ?

    • @extremeoutfitters
      @extremeoutfitters  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha we are located in Jacksonville NC

    For me, I like 34" or 36" for a crossover bow. I had a Hoyt Vetrix XL that I picked up back in 07'. It was 36" axel to axel tac driver and wish I still had it. Ending up get rid of it and getting a RX1 Ultra in 2018. Great bow, but I got rid of it. Now I am running two bows. A Mathews V3 31 and a Mathews TRX 34 because of all my different arrows and arrow weights.

    • @extremeoutfitters

      That's awesome man. The Mathews bows have been huge seller's for us and majority of the guys in our shop run them.

    How the hell are you getting 296 @70lbs w/445grains? I got 270 @70lbs w/450grains 28.5 in draw. Even if you were 30 in draw that would only be about 15 fps, how are you 25 fps faster? From watching some of your other videos it seems you're a 29 in draw which would only be 5 fps. I'm so confused about the speed you're getting.
