- In this video we demonstrate the necessary planning that goes into installing an amplifier to power aftermarket subwoofers while using the factory radio or an aftermarket radio. This video is filled with a ton of information but it breaks down to a couple simple messages:
1. Check and Verify your Equipment
2. Identify your audio source (high level or low level)
3. Find the firewall location to drill
4. Find location to mount your fuse cut-off
5. Find a location to mount your amp
6. Find a location to properly ground your amp
7. Find a location to mount your subwoofer
8. Run wires for power and audio source opposite each other
9. Tune your gain and crossover
10. Enjoy the upgrade

Just let me say this..."BANG" is now in my trunk beating trying to get out!! I love the post amp connector that I bought from you guys last week. My 07 Acura TL sounds so good now. I have my factory radio and factory amp plus my aftermarket amp and subwoofers. Thanks again Mobile Max. Ohh yeah. Please keep making the plug and play harnesses.

I really can't say thank you enough for taking the time to make this video. Liked/subscribed which is the best thank you I can offer. You answered several questions which I have spent months searching the web trying to answer, mostly having to due with tapping into the sub line before the factory amp and what line driver to get. This video really does a great job breaking down info from novice to somewhat technical. Being a great teacher is a rare gift. Thank you again.

Wish I could understand what you're describing about the t harness
So I was trying to tap into the sub signal before the stock amp and I was only getting .2v. I tried turning up the sub volume in the radio settings and it was still 0.2 so I started to question the rcas or tap things. I ended tapping in after the amp and gave left it like that since.
Hey man I appreciate you doing your thing. You got a lot of great content, you're thorough, and the videos are well thought out. But, they're tough to follow. Start the video with the finished product so we know what to expect, then jump right in. Work on your camera skills or get someone else to do the filming. Sometimes the camera isn't pointed at what you're talking about so I have no clue what you're trying to show. Other times the camera is too far away to see anything in detail. Looking forward to more videos.
Thank you for the detailed video and selling the plug and play setup. I recently purchased your plug n play Kenwood double din deck and factory kicker sub) but after the install there way to much rattle from cover in the back.

Hey looking to buy some subs for my 08 TL nav, I have an issue with my hands free link/Bluetooth connection, the voice recognition as well. I’m not able to connect to the HFL, so I’m using a FM transmitter. I’m wondering when I get these subs will I need to buy a screen to be able to play my music?
So I had a another question so is there another way to run the power wire from the battery to the amp without drilling the hole ? Would I be able to pull that rubber piece back and snake the power wire threw ?

I keep getting hum in my sub. I am using the harness that gives the 1 RCA cable. It happens from 1000rpm to 2000rpm. If tried 4 different ground locations. Ive pulled my signal and remote wires out and just ran them through the seat pass through. Ive even put in a ground filter. What's weird is that it will go away if I open my door. Any thoughts?
You are the third person we have heard of this issue. When they open the door it will go away, if its a type S then make sure to unplug the Noise Cancelling brain below the center channel. If it's not a type s then it could be some sort of interference from the alternator.

how much you guys charge to put a sub in a acura tl
Is there bass roll off using the pre amp low level signal for an aftermarket subwoofer amp or is that only on the post amp high level signal??
I spliced into the factory sub-out for my install and there definitely is a bass roll off.
@@JoinTheCyborgs was this pre amp or after the amp??
I was told that both the signal before and after the amp are capped at 80hz and I should keep my low pass set really high to avoid conflicting and causing a ton of rolloff.

And if you don’t care about factory sub, do you still need the rca splitter? And for the screen do you need the amp bypass?
no if you don't want the factory sub you don't need the y splitter. For what screen?

@@distr1c7 my recommendation is to stay far away from this product. I installed the whole system and had it working, but the quality of the audio was very poor. I’m an audio head and I went back to a kenwood double din and have way better quality than I did with the Tesla screen… the screen was cool to watch nfl games while driving but the audio was total crap. Hope this helps!

Definitely found that mounting the amp to the box was a bad idea. Had to send back my Phoenix Gold ZX500 back to be fixed cause I had it mounted on a box with 2 Rockford 12's.

Most of your videos could be edited in half or less. You talk in circles and it’s so not needed. We are here because we trust what you say and sometimes to say less means more. Remember this is ADHD era… you need to get the point across in less than 2 mins. What’s the better amp, miss, highs, head unit, and sub. Plus a lot of your videos say the exact same thing bud. Let’s just cut time and get right to installing.
