different type of flavour, both good but they just different not better. Same as when u do a chicken stock if u want a one with lighter broth use without searing it first
@@nicohallmen8354 in my opinion it's less fishy that way, can't say it's better cos maybe some people like the fishiness, I'm only suggesting another method
@@jameswong6418 yesss. The strong fish smell (the fishy odor) will lessen when you fry it first. Of course, we also clean the fish before hand, but frying is an extra process that can be added to help
If you add some tamarind paste, this is pretty much a tomyum soup. Look yum 🤤🤤
Pan fry your salmon light before you add water, you are welcome

YASS!! pls dont straight boiling a fatty fish, it's gamey. fish soup is supposed to be made with a leaner salt water fish
Soak it in milk for an hour. If it’s fishiness you’re getting rid of.

Kind of reminds me of my family's favorite chazuke which is basically tea, rice and fish. But yours definitely probably has a stronger salmon flavor.
I love eating salmon fish heads alone 🥹 cheeks are #1 next is the eyeballs 🤤
Looks insanely delicious!

Hi,
Looks delicious.
I'm curious as to why the heads were used? Is it more flavorful ?
Yes. It adds a lot of flavor to the overall.
I think the whole point was to make a cheap meal with fish scraps and it actually looks pretty good
There is nothing wrong with the heads. It would be a waste not to use them.
The heads also had some meat on it too she said.
Loved 😻🫶
Looks delicious
I recognize everything in the pot except the leaves she placed right after the lemongrass what is that?
When did you add the rice?
When you eat. The rice DONT go into the soup. Say, when you are hungry for a meal, put the rice in a bowl, and pour soup on top.
try sinigang na salmon, 😊
What is glenko?
Oh my thought I was the only one that does this I use potatoes instead of rice Caribbean style
that just became a favourite 4 me too... ;p
Nice 👍
That looks yummy
I hate fish heads. Hate looking at them, smelling them, handling them…all of it. So I’d no doubt leave those out😂.
They are looking back right at you
She said lemon grass, lime leave and galanko. What the hell is a galingling??? Anyone please tell me what the hell is flinging?
It's galangal. These herbs take away the "fishiness". It also works with game meat
Delicious
So yummy , I like the fish head
I just saw the cake video and I thought that salmon in the beginning was cake 🤣, like with the skin and eyeballs
