Wow that’s just fabulous! I used to grow these reddish/russet coloured sunflowers and your version is beautiful. I’m so glad you managed to make it a bowl - I think it makes the most of the shifting colours. One of my favourite things you’ve made. Wow wow wow that is stunning love the metallic colours boy how they shine and love the fact that you were able to finish as a bowl which I really wanted to see ❤
A good oven mitt for next time might keep you safer, but just like you suspected heat does get the job done on thinner pieces. Bending resin with heat is something I've seen around, and about online. If the oven mitt isn't protective enough, I can recommend MIG welding gloves as something that can just about allow mavericks like myself to grab the thing we were just welding on. _Don't actually do that;_ use pliers, or something, if it is small enough to be lifted with a small hand tool, or just leave it to cool off.

Omg! New subscriber here. I absolutely adore this beautiful sunflower mold! Also, you're so right! There are so many gorgeous sunflower varieties other than the typical yelllow. There's even one with purples and reds in it! As i was watching, i had an idea strike my brain. How aboout creating a lotus mold and doing it into a bowl like you did with this sunflower? I think that woulld be fabulous! Keep filling the world with yoour amazing creations! I just love your bubbly personality, too! Much love, fellow artist! 💜
