Although depending on how it works it might become really annoying to the point that no one would use the Pokémon anymore lol 😂. maybe they would only do that if they got confused or something? Or maybe they just have some kind of ability that they can use that’s related to that. That’s a great thought! There are tons of cool ideas and things that you could do that are related to how Starbucks always gets peoples names wrong.

There’s nothing wrong with being mega successful, the problem comes when you use that success to promote a perverse political agenda.
I can envision Tweetrick having a split evolution line. A caught Tweetrick evolves thru happiness. Its evo grows out of its more dastardly antics and becomes a positive influence. It becomes a supporter of its trainer and team members.
The other is only obtainable in the wild. Because it is lacking discipline and a trainer's influence, its dark tendencies take a firmer hold on its personality. A perfect fit for a future evil team.

There's sponsor segments, seamless sponsor transitions, but sponsor _integration_ into the video's subject matter is on another level entirely.
I like how the Twitter mon design does incorporate an X into its body and the shiny being a reference to the rebrand. I'm still calling it Twitter tho.

I could totally see Ash and Pikachu having a hard time with a Tweetrick. Early in an episode, a Tweetrick listens in on Ash telling one of his less-trained Pokemon to knock it off; maybe they're being a little annoying or aggressive a la Aipom or Gible.
Ash and Pikachu are squaring off against Team Rocket later in the episode, and who does Team Rocket have but the Tweetrick that knows how to copy Ash's commands.
Ash: Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: Pika! (starts charging up Thunderbolt)
Tweetrick, in Ash's voice: Hey, knock it off!
Pikachu: ??? (stops using Thunderbolt) Pikapi?
Team Rocket: What's the matter, twerp? Change your mind?
Ash: What, I didn't say that?!
I think in the end, Ash would catch the Tweetrick and it would be a nice addition to his team for a bit. It wouldn't stick around all the way to the end of the league, but it'd be a funny companion for a while. 😊
This. I can clearly see the scenario happening.
Ash would send it to Prof. Oak who would then use it to send out his poems, just to lose fans because the bird switches them out with fake ones. Later it is revealed that Tweetrick sold the original poems to Team Rocket to use in a get rich quick scheme.

Since it'd be broken as an Ability, maybe instead Tweetrick has a move that makes the opponent use the wrong move. It'd always go first, but to balance it out, it wouldn't always be successful, and if it is used too many times consecutively it becomes even less successful, as the opponent Pokemon starts realizing that the trainer isn't the one making the call.
That sounds interesting. I feel like it could be like protect where the accuracy lowers every time you use it.
Would the opponent randomly use the wrong move or could you pick what move they use? Actually I think picking could be broken too.
Maybe it also has a small chance to switch out the opponent like roar or dragon tail

Something that could be fun to see would be turning mythological and Fantasy Creatures into Pokemon in Regions where they would make sense. After I became aware of the Ramidreju, which is from Spanish lore, I thought it was a missed opportunity it didn't have a Pokemon version in Paldea. Another that I became aware of fairly recently is the Aralez, a celestial doggo from Armenian mythology, but I'm not sure what region an Aralez Pokemon could belong to; I'm sure Ron will get some ideas after going into a bit of research.
...Might I make a proposal to your ideas? What if we took a Furret and made a regional paradox out of it? (NOTE: This is my *very first time* doing something like this; please don't judge me too harshly...) 😅🙏

@@adrianhendricks772 Sounds cool, and you can even throw in a few healing Fairy moves to its move set to reference how the Ramidreju's green fur is basically a magical cure-all; or change one of its typing to Fairy instead. Just remember, it's also going to have boar-like tusks on its snout in addition to having green fur.

I absolutely love your content, and you have inspired me to be creative; I have also made many fakemon myself. When you created the twitter fakemon, some things that stood out to me were that the name could be “Tweetrix” to incorporate the new twitter logo X, as well as keep the “tricks” aspect of the name. And if the shiny was the actual fakemon’s color scheme, I think it would fit the fakemon better since it’s a dark-flying type, and the shiny could be blue to reference the twitter logo. These are just suggestions, and your fakemon are still amazing!
For episode three i think that Lego as a pokemon would be really cool

Love Espresiren. It would be cool if like since Starbucks has many flavors it could be like genesect or like Arceus who can change typing base on a item. Man I wish this pokemon was in the pokemon game.
I don’t know if knew this when making the Fakemon, but there’s a butterfly with window-like see through wings called the Glasswing Butterfly.
I love Discold. As a swede, I also love Ikea. Great pokemon. I imagine the evolved form would be bigger and thicker like it's wearing a big jacket in the winter. I also imagine it creates the tables for the tiny Discolds.
Alternativeley it could be more gaunt and tall but instead of building tables it builds closets and shelves for the tiny Discolds to live and hide themselves in, as well as serving as storage for berries and working like houses. Great video!
Not going with the Ikea shark (Blahaj) is such a missed opportunity.

With Discold, you could easily turn it into an scp-3008 pokemon by turning into a dark/ice type that traps prey in ice mazes it changes that make it seem infinite.

Honestly, Espresiren's move to heal the opponent but then lower its stats a few turns later could be really interesting in competitive battle. If the opponent isn't, like, an encyclopedia of every move with it included, they'd be real confused as to why your move just healed their Pokemon, maybe even thinking it to be similar to Present, and then suddenly all their stats lower after a few turns. It could be really useful in a last-ditch effort to weaken their strongest last Pokemon, but it'd be a risk-reward kind of deal.

I like most of these. The Microsoft butterfly is a solid design, the wings look especially good, really nailed the stained glass feel. The appendages look a little too artificial, maybe a golden nugget in each hollow to justify the uniform circles at the end.
I love that TwitterX bird! Just a really solid bird design with great integration of both sides of its inspiration. 10/10.
Esspressiren rubs me the wrong way. It just doesn't look anything like a plant. The shiny looks much better with the coffee beans acting as barnacles. The siren is also an avian more akin to the modern interpretation of harpies (which are just birds with human woman faces) while mermaids were known more for luring lonely sailors via their looks and sweet talk. Hypnotic songs are a more modern addition to their power set. Sorry, I just really like fantastical creatures and it always bugs me when sirens and mermaids' lores are lumped together. For the design itself I feel you made it too streamlined, it feels to aerodynamic/hydrodynamic? Perhaps some rougher features, like barky skin, would help it feel more plant-like.
The Ikea alien is super cute. Really feels like a Pokemon. I can see it's evolved form using a bunch of furniture to make a suite of armor/Gundam like robot. Like a kid making a fort out of furniture. 😊
That description of Shippinch gives me the idea that its Unique (Hidden?) Ability is a combination of Sticky Hold and either Pickup/Harvest or Cud Chew. That way the item can't be stolen, but is replaced if Shippinch uses it (Pickup/Harvest), or has its effect extended a turn (Cud Chew). Pickup and Harvest are put together because they kinda act the same, except Pickup sounds random, while Harvest only affects Berries, and I'm seeing this as affecting any one-use held item.
For your next Cartoon Characters as Fakemon video, how about Pixar characters? The LGMs from Toy Story could be a three-in-one Pokemon a la Dugtrio and WALL-E and EVE could be two divergent/gendered evolutions of a Steel type?
The alien for Ikea makes sense, as they do sell plushies (Specifically little alien ones ive bought before) and I could see it as a pokemon hiding among the plushies having a grand old time randomly taking apart and re building the display furniture. Only other one that could have made more sense for Ikea is BLÅHAJ!

My version of Retweet would be: When other pokemon's ability actived this turn, the user will also active the same ability. This only occur once per turn.
So if intimidate actived, the user will also use intimidate. Or wonderguard actived, that same turn the user also have wonderguard.
I think a cool one could be Pixar, maybe incorporate Luxo Jr. or the ball with a star on it into the design.
if metagross was a biblically accurate angel, tweetrick would be the "visually digestable" fallen angel/demon

Another idea for Retweet: Special moves used by it all have a chance to confuse the opponent. Might be a little overpowered, but fits the vibes of Tweetrick messing with the opponents pokemon.
I loved these! One video idea that is pretty basic but I don't think you've done yet and would be very fun, is just making new object Pokemon. Maybe making new object Pokemon for your next fakemon region?

I think Papilicon should learn Sticky Web so it can function as a lead where it can take a hit, get rocks up, and get webs up all in the same turn.
Espesiren also kinda reminds me of those Karens who get super angry when their order is even slightly wrong (or they just feel like complaining). Or social media divas who order super complicated and fancy drinks.

As a Texan, I’d love to see a cowboy Whataburger Pokémon (look into history of company). Imagine a Pokemon with that recognizable roof as a hat, with a bat, and obviously orange. What type it’d be I’m not sure - but I’ll allow you to make that decision!

Tweetrick kinda reminds me of the Jabberjays from the Hunger Games. They were created to listen to conversations and repeat them back to the Capitol until people found out about this and started to feed the birds lies, so they couldn't be trusted anymore.

And also, that move's stat drop effect should be prevented by abilities which prevent sleep. To combo with Sweet Veil because this ability protects the Pokémon and a teammate from sleep.
Idea what about a Hasbro mon a classic wizard (Dungeons and Dragons + wizard of the coasts is both Subsidiaries) with a square head, a hat over the eyes and a smile resembling the logo. Holding toys and maybe with some of them floating around.
Seeing the twitter fakemon reminds me how I wish the terms of service on that platform were better handled

How about this concept for your next videos? Designing fakemon inspired by Pokemon designs that do NOT follow Pokemon design philosophy.
For eg: Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee don't follow Pokemon design philosophy at all. Something like that.

These Fakemon are super cool! I have a few ideas for future companies turned into Pokemon. Starting with Jack In The Box. Now it would obviously be a literal Jack In The Box, but instead of using the current mascot, I think using the 1970s Jack The Clown mascot would make it stand out. Since the 70s version of Jack was voiced by Paul Winchell, voice of Tigger, it'd be a nice reference if the Jack In The Box fakemon was a tiger. Another company that can work as a Pokemon is Domino's Pizza. It would be the domino logo, but it would take inspiration from both Donny Domino [90s Domino's Pizza mascot who is an anthropomorphic domino wearing shades], and The Noid [classic claymation Domino's mascot]. Since Donny has a surfer-like voice, maybe the Domino's fakemon could include surfer-themed elements and be part Water type?
Tweetrick makes me think of a jabberjay from hunger games
The Starbucks Pokémon would be super broken in double battles because if you use its signature move on something with Contrary not only does it get heeled but its stats go up instead of down
