What a collection of beauties!!!! But ouch the prices. When I attended auctions 20 years ago, flats like that went for $40. But I did not know what I had for future values. Congrats on the scarab necklace. He was a very generous man to sell to you. I used to ask other buyers to sell the piece I wanted. Surprisingly most did. Always worth a try. LOVE the red necklace too. I would proudly wear with missing stones. I heard there is a man called Mr. Stone who has replacement stones. I think he is on Etsy. Happy hunting! Hope Mom is along for the hunt. Such a lovely lady.

Oh and yes your skin gets thinner and more delicate. Certain people have it more so than others. My grandmother was so that if she bumped something it would tear her skin like paper. My mother's skin is now becoming delicate and we look down and she suddenly has a large wound or bruise from hitting up against something. I had a medication cause problems. Normally a person heals up little cuts during sleep but some medications cause slow healing and before you know it there are little cuts all over your hands.
That large bee reminded me of my grandmother's she had on her table in a amber yellow color she used for honey *I'm doing from memory so my grandmother's might have been something else I'm remembering..

The round sterling ball at 2:05 is a photo ball. You open on the bottom by moving the 2 points out of the holes. It expands to 5 photo frames. I have one. I’ll post a photo of it on FB
I have the jade necklace to match those jade earrings would have bought them. It isabeautiful piece of old jade inherited. You should have gone for that small lot with mourning pins, gorgeous. My jeweler fixed my petite point ring.

Skin does get thinner with age in some people . If you bruise easily that is a clue try getting doc do blood vitamin d blood test.
