Loved all the beautiful hat pins. Got me to thinking what I would do with them all. I love plants, so I thought about sticking one ( or two) in each planter. Beautiful!❤😊
The two hat pins with the blue flash look like czech glass buttons. The first of the two, I've seen that same color and design in buttons I've used in jewelry making, only the hat pins are on a larger scale. Loved them all ❤ Thanks for sharing.❤
You are so very knowledgeable for all the things you bring home and also sell. As a newer subscriber I would love to hear information on what era, why were these made, what are they meant to do and what is it that draws you to them. Thank you for showing and sharing.💜💜💜
First of all, thanks for subbing! Hat pins sometimes were worn in the front of the hat to hold them in place. The pin went thru the hair and the hat both. Thanks so much for watching !
My grandmother took her two young daughters to New York City for New Year's Eve in the early 50s and as they were trying to get to the station to take the train home the crowds of people just stopped them from moving so my grandmother took off her hat pin, started stabbing people and they got out of the way pretty quick and they made their train. TFS ❤️🎸🏏
Ha! Me toooooo! Well, maybe not the life-size woman with the one eye! Her eye was taped to her dress by the way. She was kinda cute but a bit freaky too. Thanks for watching!! xo

OMG the hat pins!! How in the heck does one use them??!!
Aren't they interesting. People would put a pin through their hat and their hair to hold the hat in place. Thanks for watching!
@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter wouldn't stick out somewhere?
At first your thumbnail looked like a tiny drum set with lots of cymbals. Those are really large
