Believe the stone on the cool heavy face pendant is obsidian.
Thanks for the info!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge willingly and graciously and willing to learn from research and viewers and allow us to join your journey of all things vintage, unique or just fun!
Wow how nice! Thank you!
So many nice things! I liked seeing the natural stone necklaces lined up for display, sorted by color. 🤩. I liked your silver ring a lot, too.
Thank you kindly
Oh my, I LOVE he art nouveau piece. It’s gorgeous. Also love the sterling sun pendant from the antique store. Great video!
Thanks so much!
Well of course the Funky pickle would have a Pickle pin !! Peter piper picked a pickle 😅
Lmao!!!!! 🤣
Too bad people treat those lil pieces of art so poorly (the scarab pin) But you did a great job by purchasing it I appreciate your respect for old stuff. Wonderful pieces ! Thank you for the video I can't express how much I enjoyed it you made my day !
Oh how kind of you. Thanks!!!!!
Nice haul Sandra! I like the pendant with the yellow stones and the last Mexican pendant. How interesting to find another Scarab piece so quickly. Funny how that does happen. The mall videos were fun, some gorgeous pieces but way out of my price range too. Take care. Hi to your Mom! Thanks!
Thank you!!!! xoxo
The Art Nouveau Pendant was the best! That is my favorite era to collect. I have a hat I jazzed up with an old tooled leather belt and a bunch of really old brooches, and my favorite one is an art Nouveau celluloid lady with flowy hair. I love the feminine flowy vibe.
Sounds beautiful! Thanks for watching!!!
The ring totally looks bench made ❤❤. Looks great on you
Thank you!! I love it!!! ❤️
Fantastic haul! I really love the purple belly bug. 😊
They probably put the scarabs in resin. The face towards the end might be obsidian.
Interesting… thanks Samantha!
I love the Art Nouveau pendant. I am lucky enough to have a large Art Nouveau sash pin. It is missing a piece, but it is so wonderfully detailed that it took me some time to notice the flaw. I love the Mexican silver, too. i am starting to get obsessed with it, and have a few pieces.
Oh wow!
WOW! What a haul! You found some amazing beautiful pieces! Thank you for sharing! I really love the sterling pieces!
Thanks so much!
Love the bracelet!
Thanks so much for watching!
My favorites from your Haul were: The Sterling ring you modeled, the Art Nouveau pendant with little amythist stone, and the brooch with the jade looking glass and pot metal. Also, I really enjoyed going to the Antique store with you, just to look. The way you freeze framed some of the items was great, so we could get a better look at the items.
DITTO
Thanks a million!
😊definitely all fabulous finds ❤
Thank you! 😊
Antique shops are always really expensive here in the UK. I sometimes wonder if they ever sell anything as they seem to have the same things for ages. I like to look around them, but rarely buy anything.
Agreed! Thanks for watching and happy hunting!
I would want to see the carved mother of pearl locket? broach? at 2:47. This is a very nice store, but at least full retail price, if not more. I also love that silver ring you are keeping. Love the Taxco piece too.
Thank you very much for watching!
I love your ring and bracelet you bought...I like when you tell us what you paid...we all pay up for what we love.i always say when will I see this again❤❤.
Then I buy frugal if it's common
I love the pendant, I think you said it was Ballesteros, BEUTIFUL 💜
Yesss a great deal on that charm bracelet 🎉
Love the bird and the bug❤❤
See I can never pick out my favorite cause every piece is always my fave!!!❤❤❤
Nice!!! Thanks so much!!!
hi Sandra!! I so love watching your videos. I've learned so much from you and your sweet Mom. I think my favorite is the scarab pin. And it's gold!! good luck on your next haul
I think I just saw a pair of RLM earrings, the circle 1's with sterling , brass. I have a pair of them that I purchased many years ago, and I really love them, and I wear them often ☮️🧡
Awesome! Enjoy!
Nice items, especially the antiques booth's items.
Aww thanks!!!
Robert Shields is out of Sedona Arizona. Not sure he's still around but his art was pretty popular here in the Southwest 30 years ago.
Blessings

P.S. Oh I just ❤❤❤ the pendant (3rd one you purchased) and am drooling over it.
Interesting, thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
Very beautiful pieces of silver
Thank you kindly
Thanks for the tour Sandra....
Thanks for coming along!
Yes, that ring in bench made.
Thanks for the info!
Hi I like the bird alot but they are all great
Thanks so much, the bird one is different for sure. Cheers.
21:56 fashion statement on a V-neck blouse. Finding a matching chain….hmmm
Nice!!!!❤🎉😊
Thanks! 😄
Hi Sandra! The Balesteros face looks like gold sheen obsidian on my monitor. Hello from not-cousin-Susan in Florida!
Hi not-cousin!!!!! Thanks for your help. The face is black tho - i think! Cheers
@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter Yes, Sandra, gold sheen obsidian is black with a golden glow from within. And the glow is sort of goldstone looking but deeper and more subtle. Of course, I'm looking at it on my TV and who knows how accurate the color really is on it. My advice...Google it!😂
great objects
Thanks!
I was just looking thru my jewelry book and your mexican face pin/pendant has a full page picture. the book is Costume Jewelry Identification and price guide page 204 Los Ballestaros. So cool to see I had to comment. Liegh Leshner is the book creator 2004
Cool! Curious what the value says?
I love Mexico jewelry I always pay up for it❤
Agreed! Thank you!
😎 Hi, I really enjoy going along with you to these antique shops/malls, I'm just wondering, if you do remember, which I kind of have a feeling you just might, how much is that carved amber pendant and chain is? Thank you 🌹
I didn't ask about that one. I think it was amber? Maybe not. It was pretty, likely too $$ for me though. Cheers.
I'm more interested in their potential value, and not what you paid for them. Love 'em all, as usual LOL!
I agree haha! Stay tuned I may sell them at some point but need to wear them for a while… hugs!
😊🥰
30:22 How would this pendant(??) be worn. I’m thinking it may be worn as a brooch with some type of fitting added to it.
The chain or torque could be put through the bale.
With your knowledge why don't you go to the thrift stores in your area. You would certainly be able to sift thru the chaff and get straight to the good stuff for much less cannoli.
Yes of course! I thrift frequently. Thanks for watching!
28:14 What could be done to remove the pitting (or whatever it is) on the silver metal? Not that you would do that. I’m just curious.
I could try to clean it up a bit with a silver cloth. That will help the tarnish, but not actual pitting.
Not sure if it's just me but I hate asking how much is this?
Agreed. Plus there was only one person working there and I wanted prices on probably 30 different pieces. There were other customers too. And to top it off - she had to call the owner and check for every price. It was weird! Thanks for watching!
Bench made is pretty obvious, if you look close with a loupe you can see the artist imperfections, uneveniness and or soldering marks etc.
Yes I see what you mean. Likely took silver tube-like pieces and curled them. I sure do love the ring though! Thanks for your input.
