Thanks bro , needed this info. Under 25 and was looking at a mustang for my next veichle, really wanted a 5.0 but after considering the insurance it will destroy me . $500 for a car then $500 for insurance is ridiculous.
Just got a 2019 Mustang Ecoboost Premium from a 2015 Cruze, insurance went from $139 with decent coverage to $240. I'm 25 and have a perfect driving record! This is with progressive btw
This is all good to consider. With this ima suggest if you're going to worry about a monthly payment being too expensive, it may probably make sense to use part of the down payment amount you planned to use, to just pay the insurance in one full payment... The only monthly payment I'd rather worry about is the car note
I tried getting a 2015 GT, I’m 18 with an accident on my record and I do everything on my own, no money from parents. $600 a month was the best price I can find and ima just stick to JDM cars lol. It sucks cuz muscle cars are my favorite
I’m 23 and until recently I paid $2300 per year. And that’s with a friggin Camry. Recently changed insurance and now pay $960 per year. Makes me wonder what I would pay per year... since I am in the market for a new mustang as my daily driver.
I have USAA (former military) and it is waaaay cheaper than any of the big civilian ones. About 20-70 bucks depending. I have a 2015 ecoboost and my monthly insurance is $122. I’m 28, I own a house, I’m married, never had any accidents or any tickets. When I looked at the GT, they quoted me at $298. It’s crazy
Got a 2018 EcoBoost coming from a 2010 Ford Focus, fully covered focus $200 and $175 car payments.......fully covered mustang $288 monthly insurance and $477 car payments big difference
Generally speaking we should all buy what we like or are interested in. However “if” you’re only thinking about insurance on a Mustang Buying a Ecoboost Mustang Instead of a Mustang GT is pointless. But again it depends on age state and driving record.
I got my ecoboost 18 I pay 130 insurance(liability) full coverage was like 400$ almost don’t know why. I said fuck that. Was trying to get a GT but really gotta think twice after those insurance prices.
I pay $280 for 2 cars, full coverage on my 17’ 5.0 and liability on my 09 v6. I’m 23, last year I got a speeding ticket for 81 in a 45 in California. I just got my 5.0 about 2 months ago. I have Allstate.
Geico quoted me $160 per month for a 2014 Mustang GT. I'm 23 with a clean driving record and good credit. Your driving record and credit MATTERS more than you think
GTcrime White2018 that’s really good, close to what I was expecting. I tried to mention some of my down falls like the stolen car and things like that... $320 a month was a deal killer for me so no GT
TTC Savior posted a pic of the sales ad from auto trader on my IG page RoneBAutoVlogs , 25.7k negotiated 1k off and out 2k down. Loan is closer to 23k. On paper it’s a 30k car.
this is an eye-opener thank's for the review I have a v6 thinking about getting a v8 now I'm kinda not to because of the insurance it's just out of my budget :)
GreatWhiteNorthernBuffalo yeah I know but it’s gonna be in storage for 9months outta the year. Then when I take it out during the summertime I’ll switch to full coverage.
O Montana full coverage because its financed and dealership wouldnt let me drivr off without full coverage but i am military so im sure my military discount dropped it significantly from it’s original price

I own a 5.0 and v6 I pay $280 for both. I have full on the 5.0 and liability for the v6. I’m 23 in California. I have Allstate. My 5.0 is a 2017.

I’m 18 and want to get a 2015 v6 Mustang in 2021 so it’s 6 years old, how much you think I’ll have to pay for insurance?
The reason the insurance price was insane, is because it was a brand new car. An older model probably would have been A LOT less.
That insurance quote is crazy. Damn..I am paying $150 for 2 cars. Glad I saw this video... now I am worried about buying a GT :(

get an eco and mod it. just doesnt sound the same is all
Is your Mustang an automatic or manual?

Well I pay 180 a month for a 2003 Mustang GT. A new Mustang you’ll probably pay near 300.

USAA is definitely a more expensive insurance company.

Take the safety driving courses and it will really drop down your insurance payment

Yeah it’s the dark side of having a Mustang. Insurance will kill you.
You got liability or full coverage? When I get my mustang gt I’m not gonna drive all the time, so there’s no point in having full coverage for me.
You’re gonna get absolutely fucked if anything happens on one of the few times you drive it
GreatWhiteNorthernBuffalo yeah I know but it’s gonna be in storage for 9months outta the year. Then when I take it out during the summertime I’ll switch to full coverage.
If you are taking a loan to purchase the vehicle the bank would obligate you to buy full coverage.
Thanks for the Vid👍
