As a dm watching this helps a lot. The book and rules are a lot of numbers and beefy so though as a dm i need to know more it helps me explain it to my players better
I think it's worth mentioning here that the Total needs to beat the target number that the gamemaster gives you. Equaling the target number is not good enough. The system is kind of unique in that way, and players coming from other games -- any other games -- frequently get confused on this point.
Wait.. Implode. You roll a 2nd D10.. and subtract the 1 from it? or Subtract the 2nd D10 from the 1? (as in, you get negative results)? Cause what you Said is different than what was prompted.
So the process for implosion I always read is as this. For example, if someone has a skill + stat of 10! 1d10 (rolls 1) + 10 = 11 Roll a 2nd d10 (rolls 5) 11 - 5 = 6

More of these please! I'm a new GM and tips would be so helpful!
There will be one for each stat and skill coming up. I intend to cover everything a new player needs and then what a new GM will need.
Me and my friends gave up before we started with the OG cyberpunk as it was too complicated, videos like these could help!
Short, simple, and sweet. Love this!

You roll an additional 1d10, then subtract the number of that roll from the total roll.

1d10 (rolls 1) + 10 = 11
Roll a 2nd d10 (rolls 5)
11 - 5 = 6
