  • In the next videos, I am extremely excited to share with you one of the most memorable travel experiences in our life:
    Visiting the amazing Italian Alps in South Tyrol, also known as the Dolomites.
    We traveled around these exceptional mountains for 10 days during the last autumn and filmed a lot of content that we will divide in 4 episodes.
    In this first video, we will visit Castelrotto (one of the most charming towns in Italy), the Alpe di Siusi (the highest and most magical meadows in Europe) and Seceda (a mountain with epic views that nobody should miss in a trip to the Dolomites).
    Comment down below if you know other incredible places in the Dolomites, we are planning to return in winter and in spring to create more content there!
    Please like, comment & share this video if you enjoy it!

    Epic is the best title for this vlog! So many hours and so much hard work behind, but like the trekking routes we did those days, at the end the espectacular final view makes everything worth it. Always improving and trying your best, the channel keeps growing and this unique video will stay on TH-cam and make you proud in the future for sure! Keep it up! 😘😘😘

    Heyy!
    That's a really nice video you guys made!

      Thank you so much for watching and for appreciating our video! 🙏🏽
      The Dolomites are the most beautiful mountains we have ever seen, we hope you can see them in person. 😊
      Chano has an Irish license that allows him to fly in the European countries, but for Italy he said that it’s compulsory to have an insurance too (he got the cheapest one with Coverdrone). Also be careful because in some areas in the Dolomites is not allow to fly the drone even if you have the license and insurance, so it’s always good to check the most recent official maps and guidelines. 🙂

      Hi Angelica, and thanks for watching!
      Actually, we went there at the end of October too, it depends on the year, the weather and the valleys that you will visit, but the last 2 weeks of October are usually the best option to get the most beautiful autumn colours. We wish you the best luck on your trip! You´ll love the Dolomites for sure!

      The swing in the Alpe di Siusi? It was near a mountain refuge called Malga Sanon. We found it while we were hiking, so we don't have an exact location for it. Hope you can find it! 😁

      Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you enjoyed watching. The cats seem to have owners. There was a small house nearby so I’m guessing they live there. The cats looked clean and well-fed. I wish I could take them with me but they looked like they have owners.

      thank you very much for watching and for appreciating our video!
      Summer is a nice time to visit the Dolomites, the weather will probably be nice and all the cable cars will be open. The closest airport that you can fly to is probably Venice or also Verona, we flew to Milan which is farther but it's an option too with 3 airports, maybe Bologna airport too. Then you can use the train to reach Bolzano, from there you´ll need to get a bus to Castelrotto (for the Alpe di Siusi) and then another one to Ortisei (for Seceda), once there you can use the public bus or the cable cars to reach to the top. It's much more time consuming by public transport but it can be done. Not sure if in Italy they have apps to share cars with people that are doing the same trip with their private car, but in Spain those apps work well sometimes if you are flexible with your schedule of course.
      We hope you can travel to the Dolomites and we're sure you´ll love it there!
      All the best.

    Which is better seceda or alpe de suisi? As i only have time for one pls

    • @ReigneOrShine
      @ReigneOrShine  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Patrick! Thanks for watching our video.
      That's a tough question for us to pick one because we loved both.
      Chano said you should check the weather, because sometimes the clouds may be covering the mountains, specially in the Alpe di Siusi, so this can bring you to choose one or the other.
      If you want to do a harder hike, then Seceda is the best option for us, in case you you want to walk in easy paths then the Alpe di Siusi would be better. But you can always take the cable car to the top in Seceda if you´re visiting it when it's open, if you don't want to do the hard hike to the top or you don't have enough time to hike.
      Seceda is probably more spectacular, while the Alpe has more charming alpine vibes for us.
      Hope you have a lovely time in the Dolomites! Probably you'll want to return and visit the other one next time ;-)

    Hello. Your video is really nice. I would appreciate if you can provide the estimated time for golden autumn in Dolomites. Thanks a lot

    • @ReigneOrShine
      @ReigneOrShine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi thank you so much for watching. It depends because seasons are changing now. But as of now, the best time for autumn in the Dolomites are the last 10 days of October and first week of November (usually). But also it depends on the altitude of the valleys that may change the peak of the autumn colors.
