- In the next videos, I am extremely excited to share with you one of the most memorable travel experiences in our life:
Visiting the amazing Italian Alps in South Tyrol, also known as the Dolomites.
We traveled around these exceptional mountains for 10 days during the last autumn and filmed a lot of content that we will divide in 4 episodes.
In this second video, we will mainly visit Val di Funes, one of the most beautiful valleys in the world with some of the most famous views in the Dolomites, but also some nearby locations like La Val and the Passo delle Erbe (from where you can admire the impressive Sass di Putia mountain).

We had our accommodation in Santa Maddalena, so we parked there for free, but you can find public parking in the town and also in front of San Giovanni church, you have to pay though.
In San Pietro & San Giacomo there was free parking on the streets instead, but probably it will change in the future when they have more tourists too. Chano parked for free in Santa Maddalena & San Giovanni 6 years ago. Actually, this time some of the roads were already closed and accessible only for residents.

You cannot drive there anymore, you´ll have to park in the town or in your hotel if you stay there as we did, then walk to the viewpoint which is on top of a hill but easily accessible.
