I just finished The Last Guardian and this composer did a phenomenal job! Extremely moving score.
He should be proud of what he has achieved with this soundtrack; it is absolutely gorgeous. I can't stop listening to it! It's completely different to the SoTC soundtrack, but in my opinion they are both equal in their ability to touch your heart.
I got chills... Oh man, this game is going to be a masterpiece!

+KaiRinoA. Zero Dawn looks very interesting. I hope Borderlands 3 is released next year too as I loved Borderlands 2. The Pre-sequel wasn't that great though and dissapointing.
My reason for buying this game was this soundtrack and I do not regret my decision. Music and the game itself was really good

It's going to be very difficult, if not impossible, to top the score of Shadow Of The Colossus, but I have to say, this sounds pretty good.
RedVIII I'm glad it's something different, though. Shadow will be hard to beat, especially since it's the same composer who worked on Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing. A few of his tracks on SotC make me tear up; it's just a perfect soundtrack.

I just got the game. And boy, I am crying. Its garbage. And its $80 CDN. I'm crying alright.
Abhishek Ganta I dont play shooters. Don't get me wrong, the story is great and I loved Team ico's ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.
But Trico is just horribly executed. I'd spend maybe half an hour stuck because Trico has to do something -- and the bird-dog won't cooperate. It detaches you from the story whenever something like this happens. The game is just broken garbage right now.
Ed Loki I don't agree at all. The game plays exactly like a typical game from Fumito Ueda would play. If the game played "perfectly", it just wouldn't be the same experience. I guess only those with extreme patience are going to get 100% enjoyment from it. I know I did. 10/10 from me.

One of my absolute favorite game soundtracks! Where many other game soundtracks overwhelm a game, the beauty of the soundtrack lies in the fact of that it does not. The game was beautiful. I am not really one for soundtracks; this is only the third game I've experienced that I actually want to buy the soundtrack to go back and enjoy...the scores truly are breathtaking and gave the game the perfect atmosphere. I am not ashamed to say I cried, thank you for that experience. :)
If it's near SotC, then I'll be happy because that game possibly has the best soundtrack ever made.

Me too. Wasn't expecting it to blow away my expectations like it did. I love everything about the game tbh. Except the lack of a photo mode. Really wish there was one or at least more manual control over the camera. Getting good screenshots was harder than it should've been.

This composer has a lot to live up to after Kow Otani's SotC soundtrack.
LOL, he'll live up to it. The game soundtrack for "Shadow Of The Colossus" along with the movie soundtrack for "Hellbound: Hellraiser 2" are without question two of my all-time favorite soundtracks. The soundtrack for "The Last Guardian" does have a lot to live up to for sure. I'm very confident that it will deliver. Just as I'm confident that the game itself will go on to be a massive success. I do believe in karma. And SONY had the patience to put up with all the problems this game brought upon it's developers. Not because they were thinking greedy by the thought of "The Last Guardian" was going to be the biggest seller of all time. But, because they believed in the product. This game will be the huge surprise hit that no one truly expected. And SONY as well as Fumito Ueda & his team will all be well rewarded for the time, money, & energy spent to deliver this game to us. Really though, It's us, the fans that will be rewarded the most as another unforgettable game along with another unforgettable soundtrack is about to make it's debut.

You'll get more that you wished for. A cd soundtrack ( import ), a 2 LP vinyl set with a triple gate-fold sleeve that expands to 37 inches in length when fully opened, two downloadable soundtracks...one for normal stereo & one for DTS 7.1 surround sound. hehehe

Is there going to be a proper score release, preferably on CD? I noticed there is going to be about 10 tracks included as a digital download voucher in the collector's edition of the game, but surely there has got to be more to it than that.

This sounds like a great score, but its too bad they couldn't get Kow Otani back in some capacity. His work on Shadow of the Colossus is incredible.
