You could also insert a small signature instead of glueing the less patterned paper. Still sending prayers your way. You got this. No matter what, you will land on your feet. Cape Deum

I just couldn't help myself! I started creating 4 of these new pockets because I have 4 travel like journals that I started months ago, and need to get them finished. These new style pockets with foldouts do double duty, that is for sure. Again, thanks for the idea. :)

I thought of folding the back panel as well and having pockets front and back, and putting it in a pocket as its only 3" wide.

I’m just beginning my journaling journey and I made one of these for my latest creation and I just love it! It adds so much interest to a page and lots of special writing space. I think I will make a bunch of them to have on hand. I love them so much! Thank you for your excellent tutorial.

Great pocket fold outs. Another fabulous idea.
11" / 3 = 3 11/16" Just for future reference. US letter size eleven inches divided by three is three and eleven sixteenths inches. In case anyone doesn't mind measuring. :) ♥♥♥
