sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Davis Conner Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
First time i saw the Yamaha warrior when i searched for 2nd motorcycle i fell in love completely. Im really going to buy one and customize it to my own taste 🙂
I learned to race a Warrior I need to 1. Slip the hell out of the clutch from the start and between gears. 2. Stay on the rev limiter whenever possible.
GD Warrior Those bikes are exceptionally cool. Typical for Yamaha to out Harley a Harley. They focus on other companies ideas and make them better. They do a good job but don't support their older bikes very well at all. Like an ADHD kid once they get a new focus they shut down on their own history from even 5 years ago. The others support their historical products much longer. Especially Kawasaki.
That's very true! BTW there are 1 or 2 clips within this video where my clutch was slipping. Also the bike has a Ivan's ecu flash which raised the rev limit however the tach will show you the revvs limiter blinking but the bike keeps pulling because the ecu raised the limit. It's sad that you have to spend $26k on a Harley which is stock and spend another $4k-5k just to make it go fast... Not to mention maintenance... I spend way less, customized it, nobody's bike looks like mine, it's faster than Harleys 117cu cvo line up and costs a fraction of the price... NO BRAINER
GD Warrior My first 3 bikes were Yamaha. I wondered about the clutch slip. You could have said it was tire spin! At least Yamaha are easy to fix. Popular ones get decent aftermarket support. The poor engineers at Yamaha went bonkers when the higher ups told them they wanted pushrods according to a few magazines.
I am picking up an 02 warrior this weekend. Went with a buddy to a Harley dealer and test road the breakout cvo. 23k absurd man the warrior was a much faster bike. Oh 3k for it no brainier indeed
I have a modded vrod...Its just 1130cc but when it was stock it would take a stock warrior..It turns 10k rpms now ...Must say I like the looks of your warrior...Whats been done for motor mods? Good video! Stay safe..
exexpat11 Actually the v rod motor is from Harleys race program..They already had the motor and it was tried and true however it was a race engine and needed to be street friendly...Thats where they brought in an engineer that worked for porsche...It worked...The motor was pretty much bullet proof....They put it through hell in testing.. however its has no other relation to porsche...Its still harleys race motor tamed down...
From the V-1000 Program. Erik Buell was unhappy they put it in a Cruiser as he wanted the engine for a Race Bike. www.porscheengineering.com/peg/en/services/ourreferences/harleydavidson/ A New V2 Engine for the Harley “V-Rod” Under the development name “Revolution Engine”, in 2002 development partner Porsche Engineering developed a new V2 engine for the “V-Rod” model of the American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson. Against the backdrop of a collaboration stretching back to the 1970s, the Porsche engineers constructed a water-cooled 1,131 cc motor based on a racing engine that delighted Harley-Davidson's demanding clientele both for its performance as well as its imposing sound. With a DOHC valvetrain and electronically controlled fuel injection, the VRSC-series Harley with its four-valve engine put out up to 120 hp.
People do not believe it is hard to keep the speed down in low speed areas like school zones and 25mph areas. In first you can can go from 0 ro 45mph in no time flat and the bike usually revs and likes to rev high. In slow speed zones I have to almost put the bike in neutral and coast with very little gassing to move. It is kind of a pain in that respect. "Just lay off the throttle dude." It is hard to stay off the throttle or to coast as the bike wants to fly. The big plus is that if you fall behind or are late in a group that takes off without you. In very little time you can catch up with them. It is crazy fast on take off and can maintain speed all the way up the speedometer. Down point is a 3.5 fuel tank on an engine that is very thirsty so you have to stop more often. It is the SR-71 of Early 2000' cruisers. Only thing close to it is a Suzuki 109.
some motorcycles dont trigger traffic lights. by the time they do you are already thru the intersection, i used to have a warrior, they are low to the ground even lower if you lower it (which i did). after you sit thru a few green arrows you do what you gotta do. got a z900 now same sh*t different bike
Can someone describe the ride for me on the 1700. Sold my deluxe last year and im curious. Fyi the clutch slipping or something? I shift like a boss but can tear one up quick if i do it too much
D Rock it's a very comfortable with excellent cornering or handling with the stock 200 tire. There is one clip within the video where I ride against a ducati scrambler with a slipping clutch and still win. Every clutch slips after a while but we have the Barnett sr2 spring conversion as an option to buy and this thing is solid no clutch issues at all
I dunno, there’s a lot of clutch comments. I’m no pro, and don’t ride anymore, but whenever I was racing someone, I never touched the clutch except for the launch. Suzuki bandit 1200 with too many mods to list.
Dzięki stary, spróbuje je przykleić do mojego mean streaka. Od jakiegoś czasu zmieniam go na styl podobny do Twojego warriora, a Twój film zainspirował mnie w kwestii lusterek, zastanawiam się też nad podświetleniem, bo moje kawasaki ma lakier ciemno fioletowy i chrom na pokrywach zaworowych, więc ciemno niebieski led zrobiłby fajną robotę. Pozdrawiam. Norbert.
Zawsze mnie to cieszy jak ktoś mi mówi że ja zainspirowalem komuś! Nie ma sprawy ziomek zawsze możesz mi wysłać wiadomość jak będziesz miał jakieś pytania!
sorry for the late reply but DAMN THOSE ARE SOME NICE WORDS FROM YOU bro! thank you shes my pride and joy! ride safe thanks for watching! and dont forget, "Don't fuckin die" :D
Jeremie Sterlin please its the rider and what's in the bike don't give me that " its known crap " bahahaha they are quick but I've seen vrods eat them up
Jeremie Sterlin - Absolutely incorrect! I owned an 07 Warrior. Yes, it would kill a typical Harley, but it couldn't touch the V-Rod. V-Rod had 115 stock HP, whereas the Warrior only had 84 stock HP. You have to replace the cams/pistons to even break 100 HP.
A stock warrior vs a stock VROD the vrod will always win. However in. My case its not a stock warrior. GD Warrior Yup found them...watched vid first!
V-Rod - engine by Porsche. Warrior - VRod - Suzuki 109 were enemies on the Drag Race Bike Circuit. Tons of Torque in all of them.
