By the way glad to see your family members and your health is back after going through the 19. And that stuff still ain’t no joke. May God keep you healthy.
your doing better then me, you got help, i used a spring loaded shower curtain rod till i made a power bleeder from a small pump sprayer, and in case your wondering, i would pump up the brakes and then press down the spring loaded rod on the pedal and jam the other end in to the seat, then go the wheel i was working on and crack the bleeder, the spring loaded rod would push the pedal down the rest of the way to the floor, the power bleeder i made was from a small pump sprayer and a fuel shut off kit for a riding lawn mower, home depot, lowes, you can find it there, if your going to make one, you will also need a mason jar and some clear tubing, the tubing needs to be the size that will fit over the nipple on the bleeder at the brake caliper, put a little brake fluid in the jar and stick the other end of the clear tubing in the jar, as you power bleed the system you will see air bubbles in the clear jar, it does not take much, 5 to 6 pumps on the sprayer, dont need so much pressure that it blows everything apart.
Sometimes it takes a vacuum to get the fluid going through the caliper/wheel cylinder. I have had really good results with the bleeder kit from Harbor Freight. You do need an air compressor to use it though, not a really big one, mine is like 12 gallon compressor and it works fine with the kit. Pneumatic Brake Fluid Bleeder With Auto-Refill Kit #92924. Good luck!
Man my C10 brakes were such a pain to bleed. The wife hated helping me with it. Same situation as you it took a while to get the fluid going but once it did it was easy peasy…. My dodge truck was easy as the fluid was flowing from the start.
