I was baptized a second time because the first time I honestly didn’t understand what I was doing and I didn’t fully repent and then went back into sinning. So I did a second time. I felt that conviction and I did repent and did it right two weeks ago.
We arent saved by works so we cant lose salvation by works either. Be calm in your faith in Jesus and know that he is in control. I did the same thing brother. Salvation is through faith alone in Christ alone. Plus nothing minus nothing. Now our job is to work out the salvation we have with reverence and respect. Spread the gospel and make more believers.
Salvation is by faith in Christ alone.I did water Baptism out of compulsion in 2010,and ever sincei lived a horrible life in sins, but in 2020,i found myself a sinner and wicked before the Holy God and I m worthy of only hell and judgement. But the grace of God was upon me that He sent His son to die in my place , Jesus suffered and shed His precious blood at the cross for my sins ,was buried and rose up again. He paid the penalty for my sins past, present and future sin. Base on His redemptive works ,i received Jesus into my heart, and accept Him as my Lord and savior. And now I know I am going to heaven not because of my good works, nor water baptism, and so but because of what Jesus Christ did for me.Praise God. Then next year i decided to rebaptise as good conscience toward God and his children to them that I am truly born again through the works of the Holy Spirit. So,what saves us is not water Baptism but by grace through faith alone in Christ alone. Water Baptism is to with expression of what has taken place inside of you through the Holy Ghost, when you trust Jesus as personal your savior.
I am a backslider who use to preach that perfect word of our mighty champion. I’ve back slid now for over 5 years and I need prayer. I started lying for no reason, lusting at everything, been fired 3 times haven’t had my kids in church. All the while I know how to put on Jesus like a shiny coat, and I’m good at telling people how to be born again. But as CHRIST has said to others, I’m a white washed tomb, putting on Jesus over my filthy rags. And I’m so tired. Will someone please pray for me and my two little ones . Please
When you are Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39, you have Totally Surrender to LORD JESUS CHRIST, you don't have a Control Will of your Life Again, because, you have Said, All that the LORD JESUS CHRIST, have said, that I will Do or Obey, Exodus 24:7, pls, read from New king James version. Pls, hurry to Believes Genuinely and be Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39, then, pray our LORD JESUS CHRIST, to Baptized you with the HOLY SPIRIT, when, these are done, you become a New Creation and has Put on CHRIST. In CHRIST, we know no Sin. Say NO to Baptism according to Matthew 28:19-20, because, it is Wrong Exercise.
You need the sacrament of confession, it's the only thing that can really stop demonic attacks after a certain point. A full and perfect contrition to return to the state of grace.
The Lord said Come unto me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take it all to Your Heavenly Father as you have said here. He hears every prayer and Jesus is at the right hand of the Father interceding on your behalf. Dont run from him in your shame RUN TO HIM HE IS WAITING like the Father of the Prodigal son was WAITING for his son to return and RAN TO HIM when he saw him coming in the distance. HE LOVES YOU. HE DIED FOR YOU. May you find PEACE as you come boldly into the Throne room of Grace for help in your time of need.
Hello, I'm reading the Bible in German, but it's really difficult for me to understand, I always have to look for translation in TH-cam or Google... Is there a Bibel I could read and understand what I'm reading, because it feels so exhausting to not understand exactly what I'm reading 🙏🏻
I was baptized as an infant in a Lutheran church, of course I don't remember it. I recently was baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as an adult..it was something I sought out and felt I wanted to do to rededicate my life to my Lord and savior Jesus
Exactly A baby does not yet understand about Sin So Why it is impt to Know that there's a Great Difference Between A baby's identity being identified to God and Water Baptism To God That means to buried the sins of the old person that we have inherited From Adam and To become like a Second Adam that is Jesus Christ Himself...That's Why Everyone Who Believes in Jesus Can have Water Baptism.✝️🙏♥️🔥
Jesus help me. I’m trying to balance everything on my own, but Lord I feel like I’m failing miserably as a single mother. Both sons are special needs I’m so overwhelmed trying to support them on my own. I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus guide me and give me strength. I have faith you will carry me through this difficult time.❤️
God will not give you what you want, he will give you what you need. I waited a long time for an answer and was in great pain. He answered by sending a messenger. Glory to God Amen.
The baptism that I had is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, when I was born again. My water baptism was my witness to the world that I was dead to SELF, buried, born again and resurrected in the image of Jesus Christ……
Water Baptism does not and never will give you salvation.. Baptism by the Holy Spirit is the only Baptist. Jesus Christ said you must be reborned, and that's through the Baptistm of the Holy Spirit.
I invite you to read my other comments and invite you to ask God to further reveal some additional layers to the subject. Please just ask God to share and clarify the whole truth around this subject. If you ask God He won't lead you astray. He will tell you but you must be humble enough to pray to ask HIM if perhaps Satan has woven in a tini tiny lie to try to deceive you....after all, let us not forget how sneaky he is, like back in the Garden of Eden. Review the exact words. He twists words. He twists meanings. He pricks our pride. He plants seeds of doubt. He is our enemy. Of course he will zero in on the portal to enter into salvation so wise up, ask God to double and triple check all fronts, be careful, wise and use logic and prayer to solve this mystery.
Yes me too baptized first in 5th August 2012 under compulsion without fully faith or understanding or knowledge about Jesus Chris in grace covenant church in my local area,But after 6 months I left my faith and lived faithless life till October 2021. Again rebaptized in 21 November 2021 with faith and in the name of father son and holy spirit in Pentecostal christian fellowship church in my present local area. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth for your love mercy and grace.halleluya amen.
Dear beloved, pls, ensure you are Baptized in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST, according to Acts 3:37-39, then, pray for the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT, to guild you into all Righteousness.
That is an example of an exception, a very rare scenario, not the common situation. The thief was the first to verbalise a desire for forgiveness WHILST Jesus was on the cross, the thief couldn’t exactly get off his cross either. The overwhelming majority of people do not experience such situations like that, therefore, they do not have the same excuse like the thief did.
If you have a chance why you don't want to get baptised? You should obey God! Real baptism is when you are adult, fully covered with water, not just 1 drop of water!
Three years ago, I took my first steps towards faith and was baptized in a Lutheran church. Though it was a starting point, I wasn't truly committed and drifted away when faced with challenges. But God's gentle call led me to the Roman Catholic Church, where I found a deeper connection to Jesus Christ. I've embraced His teachings wholeheartedly and the path He has laid out for me. Next year, I will be baptized again, solidifying my commitment to the Catholic faith. Even now, I find immense peace and strength in attending Mass regularly. My faith is stronger than ever, and I am filled with gratitude for this journey God has guided me on.
I was baptized as a child and my relationship with the Lord Jesus is everything to me now. I’m going to be baptized again as an adult who knows what I’m doing. I’m not saying the Rabbi is wrong. I’m no one’s judge. But I follow my heart when it comes to Jesus . The Holy Spirit lives in my heart so I know I can trust Him.
The preacher is wrong. Call no one rabbi, pastor , father, or any title people give to themselves because you only have one Lord in Jesus and the Most High God and Father.
Dear beloved, All Error or Mistakes are subject to Correction, Any Water Baptism according to Matthew 28:19-20 is Wrong, and it must be Repeated according to Acts 2:37-39, to Correct the Exercise.
Dear beloved, our LORD JESUS CHRIST, gave Great Commission in Secret, which was Revealed in Acts 2:37-39, and HE Commanded us to uphold the things Revealed, while the Secret things belong to HIM only. Deuteronomy 29:29, The Secret things belong to the LORD our GOD, but those things which are Revealed belong to Us and our Children Forever, that we may Do All the Words of this Law. Beloved, we can not Build another Foundation for ourselves. We must build on the Apostles and Prophets Foundation, built in CHRIST JESUS.
Wrong Mari like myself i got baptized when i was very young and really didn't know what i was getting into . Because the church did not teach me when I got baptized. Now the 2nd time I got baptized I was taught or schooled for 1,1/2 months about baptism I was 50 years young. I thank my father GOD in the name of JESUS. 🤓🥊🕊
Its why he asked how were you baptized. Getting babtized as an infant or child maybe more like a dedication for the parents, but it doesnt really count because its not your conscious decision. Hes talking about being baptized as one who knows and understands. And that doing it more than once is unnecessary because being a promise and gift from God, once is sufficient. Its not like He takes it back if you stumble.
I was baptized as a child in the Catholic Church, it was not immersion which is the root word for baptizo, and I had no deep understanding of God yet to make such choice. Today I choose Jesus, so I will most likely do it again once I follow His instruction to let go things of the past, have my breakthrough, and He confirms it to me. It will be through a non denominational church that God led me to.
I'm actually not baptised but I definitely hold a strong faith in JESUS. Edit:- Thank you so much guys for sharing your advice on baptism. I'm definitely going to read the passages and Acts you guys recommended me to read and looking forward to baptise. May God bless y'all.❤
To answer son sons question. Nowhere does it say you renounce your faith by getting baptized twice. The second baptism is just not a baptism, cause you've already been baptized.
Dear beloved, almost All Errors or Mistakes are subject to Correction, if We are Wrongly Baptized, there be a to Correct it. All Water Baptism Exercise is Done according to Acts 2:37-39, not Matthew 28:19-20.
I was baptised as a baby, I’m not 28 and I want to get baptised because it’s my decision now as an adult to give my life to Christ. It was not my conscious decision as a baby to get baptised but i don’t think my church will baptise me ‘again’ and I’m really not happy and confused about this
Dear beloved, it wrong to Baptized st Age 0-17yrs, because, everyone within this age bracket, don't actually have the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Water Baptism according to Acts 2:37-39, is meant for an Adult of 18yrs above.
Through baptism we burried with Jesus, resurrected with Jesus by faith ( Colossians 2: 11-12; Romans 6: 4) So we need to know the exact and correct baptism, it's not about child, it's about the young ones, old ones who understand the meaning of Salvation. Ephesians chapter 4, talks about one baptism, one saviour, so which is the one baptism, is that which Jesus took from the John the baptist ( Mathew 3: 15) or the water sprinkling, which one? 1-Corinthians 12: 13 talks about one spirit, one baptism. God gives wisdom to understand it exactly (1-Peter 3:21
I was baptized Catholic as a baby and baptized again a couple months ago in my 40’s in my local Christian church. I was fully aware this time that I was giving my life to Christ. It was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I say go for it and God bless 💗🕊️
I was baptized twice. I remember both, and I freely chose to be baptized both times. I was 7 the first time. I remember everything about it. I remember accepting Christ before that. I remember it all. BUT...I chose to do it a second time a couple years ago, which happened to be 40 years later, almost to the day. I just wanted to re-commit, if you will, as an adult. I don't think there's anything wrong with this at all. Clearly, the pastor of my Bible preaching (only) church didn't think there was an issue either.
I was baptized at 8 years old and I do not even remember it. Honestly I just did it because my parents wanted me to and all the other kids my age were doing it. In the years to follow I admit I never came to know the Lord. This was until I was truly saved by our Lord Jesus Christ and chose to be baptized FOR REAL this past December. Please, if you have kids, make sure they have the right heart posture if they decide to be baptized. Otherwise you’ll just be dunking them in a pool of water.
Beloved, this is GODLINESS, Believes and Baptized to be Saved. Mark 16:16. Pls, let All Vessels of GOD'S Wrath keep Silent. Romans 9:22. LORD JESUS CHRIST must Rescue HIS Own.
I accepted Jesus at 8 and baptized in Southern Baptist. At 19 I started questioning my faith. At 30 i realized that all my questioning was ridiculous so I asked God to forgive me for the years I was questioning things like if God knows everything and has always known then wouldnt He already know who would accept Him or reject Him, and other such things about events. After asking Jesus to forgive me for my questioning I felt the need to be baptized again. Ive always known since 8 i was going to spend eteriny in Heaven
@@abrahamjohnson-gy8uz I presume your reply was directed at me. Now, I shall explain: while these verses in the Book of The Acts of The Apostles do state that people were baptised in the Name of Christ (and do not mention the use of Trinitarian formula), it is worth noting that the Book of Acts is not a liturgical manual (it is not the Didache, after all), and that it is not all narrated directly by Christ Himself. The command to baptise in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is given directly by Jesus in the Bible, and thus takes precedent over the events recorded (not necessarily prescribed) in Acts. Furthermore, "baptised in the Name of Jesus" is to be understood in light of the Great Commission, as is the rest of the Book of Acts. By "in the Name of Jesus", the author was essentially using shorthand because he assumed that the reader would be familiar with the Gospels (the author, traditionally understood to be St Luke the Evangelist, even refers to his own Gospel in the beginning of Acts). But even if these people truly were baptised in the Name of Jesus and *not* the Trinity, this would not somehow disprove that baptism should be performed in the Trinitarian formula, only that some people may have failed to do so, although this is likely not the case.
Baptism is a symbolism today and nothing else. When Jesus ascended He POURED out His Spirit, fulfilling what John said of Him "I indeed baptise you with water unto repentance, BUT... He who comes AFTER me will Baptise you with the HOLY GHOST, and with Fire" Many of you miss this fact. Idk why. You cannot earn salvation. It is 100% imputed unto you through FAITH! Isaiah 53:12 "Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors." Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. Acts 2:33 "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear." Acts 10:45 "And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also." Romans 5:5 "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." There are many more passages like these. Search the scriptures, search the Spirit, it leads in ALL Truth. God bless.
Please Pray for my Brother William and his MDS disease he has.. he does not know God, he is was in special classes and has a learning disability!!! he is a good person and I know he is in need of Prayers!!!
I was baptized as a baby. My whole life i lived atheistic. But my great love brought me to Jesus! Now i believe and now i want to go my life with Jesus! So, can i not be baptized in the time when i accept my real faith? As a baby, i don’t even can think clearly
I have the same thoughts... I was baptized as an infant, when I got baptized again earlier this year it was because I accepted Christ, not because my parents accepted him for me.
You can get baptized again, but you do not need to. Baptism is not needed for salvation. Only Jesus Christ can give you salvation, he baptizes you spiritually, in his blood, when you accept him as your lord and saviour.
It’s ok if you are catholic just go to confession, your first baptism counts still, you can be reconciled and even be confirmed as an adult believer. Every year you can renew you baptismal views which were said when you were a baby by your godparents.
Dear beloved, you have done it Correctly, the Next Step is the Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT, by LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, then, Continue the practice of Holiness, because. the Person in you is Holy.
i was baptized as a baby but my parents slipped away from God and got deceived by the enemy and so did i until i found Jesus again in dec 2022 i love Jesus more than words can explain but im trying to figure out if i should get baptized again
I was baptised as a baby in the Catholic church. When I was 38, God (that's right, the Almighty himself) called me to a pentecostal church. There He asked me (second time I heard his voice) to be obedient - and I was baptised for the second time.
You weren't baptized as a baby. (I also was sprinkled in a catholic church). You must repent first, then be baptised. In Acts22(and why quote just one verse to prop up a catholic heresy) Paul is told to arise and be baptised and call on the name of the Lord to have His sins washed away. It is the "calling on The Lord" that washes your sins. In other scripture( you cannot take some scripture without exegesis). Jesus wasn't saved and resurrected in water baptism. Water baptism is a outward picture of a spiritual truth. So you call on the Lord first, repent, believe that He died for you, then accept Christ's lawful payment for your sin.. then be baptised. You must first be a believer to be baptised, and believers already have their sin debt account cancelled out by The Lord.
Hi I would like to ask a question, I have converted from Islam to Christianity 24 years ago and I got baptized in the Orthodox Church. looking back through my life I confess that I didn't really understood what baptism was, I did experience the love of the holy Spirit but sinned much more, I wish I could get baptized again for the rermission of my sins because I feel unclean before the Lord of lords, can my sins that I committed after baptism be forgiven me Even though I knew them before the living Christ
No, don't get baptized again. We have the sacrament of Confession for all sins done after baptism. You just need to have a priest confessor and confess your sins regularly and take Communion if your priest allows it. We all sin, that's why our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ gave us this sacrament (Holy Mystery, as we say in our Orthodox Church).
Don't worry! The beautiful part of being Christian is that He walks with us as we grow to be more like Him. He loved us while we were yet sinners. 💕 Through repentence, your sins are forgiven. Confess them to God and let your burdens go! He forgives and forgets! Don't stress about the process, it's a journey. Different sins come up as we heal. You're loved! 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
GLORY!!!I'm favoured, $140K every 3weeks! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America 🇺🇸 ❤️❤️❤️
I gave my life to Jesus when I was 15 and was baptized around then too but I didn’t fully understand what all of that meant until I was 24. I’ve been thinking about getting baptized again but I didn’t know if that would be right
You can only understand the Bible if you read the whole Bible and see the relation with the old testament. The Bible doesn't contradict. You don't get salvation from baptism but faith alone. Same as good works isn't bring tour salvation but faith comes with baptism and good works.
_Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God_ (John 3:5) "born of water and the Spirit" = baptism I. e. Christ said: unless one is not baptized, he cannot enter the kingdom of God
@3wL7 yes brother now my 2 cents imagine a person in the middle of China never hears about our lord and savior One and Only true God. But lives his life serving others with love and compassion I want to believe they 2 will make it to heaven.
The Bible is not only Paul's words. James words come in direct contradiction. So who's to be believed? The brother of Jesus or a persecutor who never quoted the words of Jesus or obeyed the other apostles? How about we never see the instructions of Jesus directly to Paul to preach or be an apostle and we just hear "go there and convert". The old testament, especially the psalms, show David as a man who really cared for God and did not just believe. (Psalm 4:4) Nothing comes from mere faith, but by loving God, which implies looking to please Him by doing good to His creation.
@@Cosmin_TheMusicGuy faith alone saves, it is the gift of God, Jesus died that we might be saved. Having faith will allow you live God, how do you love him without faith and how do you get faith except it be from God? To love Jesus we most certainly strive to please him.

I think a lot of people are seeking the sacrament of reconciliation/confession when desiring a second baptism, that just isn't in their faith tradition
Dear beloved, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who you believed Died and Rose Once, Water Baptism Exercise is done Once. Pls, ensure you are Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39, and pray for the Gift of the HOLY SPIRIT, to Guild you into all Righteousness in CHRIST JESUS.
Change of location thus leading to change of church and it always gets me unawares when the pastor announces ' today is baptism whoever is interested....' and I just accept like that.iv been baptized in a swimming pool inside some church, another time in a drum another I think it was a lake I don't recall well.but Iv stopped it no more starting from today.
I was baptised as a baby in Church of England. Though always believing in God, I wasn't raised Christian. I wish to be baptised and in order for rebirth baptism is required, correct? I'm concerned because as a baby the choice wasn't mine, as a flawed sinner and adult my choice is giving my life completely to Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Another concern I wrestle with is the church denomination to be involved with. Many churches have been corrupted by man with the influence of Satan. I have little faith in the ego and narrative created by man in the church, as many have strayed from scripture and invited evil to grow, especially in the Catholic Church. I have a personal relationship with Jesus and my Bible, and pray for guidance to join a community of Christians for support and education in my faith. Any information my fellow Christians can provide me regarding the concerns I mentioned, is greatly appreciated. God Bless you all. I ask in the name of Jesus, Lord please forgive those living life denying your divinity, love, sacrifice and grace; even existence in some mindsets, for they know not what they do. I pray they come to see truth, the error in their ways, repentance and accepting Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth for their salvation. Amen
I was also baptised when I was 8 months old in the Orthodox Church of Moldova. I never understood the point of icons even to this day and where does it say about it. I was also a church-hurt. Them priests gave me a big trauma and my whole childhood was ruined. Jesus found me through tiktok when I was 15. I was a hard addict to fapping. Now I’m still fighting against it. Also, I don’t understand the baby baptism if this is my choice, because God gave me a free will: To serve Him or not
That’s why the world is how it is, because people wants to do what they want and don’t follow what Gods have told us to do. For faith I accept the baptism my parents gave me when I was 6 years old because of their faith they do what they knew was the best for me.
I was in a Pentecostal church that Baptized me in the name of Jesus Christ. A few years later I found dispensationalism, and got Baptized again in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38-39, 41 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 19:5, 7 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 7 And all the men were about twelve. That's the TRUE BAPTISM
Notice it's in the NAME (and not names) of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Then the apostles went around baptizing people in the NAME of Jesus Christ. It's always reads "in the NAME of the Lord" and never names. Even the name of the LORD is one. I point this out to Muslims that Allah has 99 nameS when the God of the Bible name is one.
In the name, is singular; Father is not a name, neither is son or holy spirit. I ask you what is the name given to the son, the father and the holy spirit? What name is above all names. My brother, you were properly baptized the first time,; the apostles baptized in Jesus name.
Dear beloved, only the person of you can tell who you are Correctly, pls, Examine yourself if you have Genuinely Repent, because the Baptism Exercise is a Suicide mission undertaken.
I asked God what can I do for him and then I woke up in the middle of the night "Be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit".. So we do not do it for ourselves but we do it for our God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.. All 3 are God and one is not less to the other so it is proper to show respect, acknowledgment and gratitude to all 3.
It is not a lie, he is giving examples to show that biblical baptism is not the ritual, but rather the spiritual baptism. Water baptism is representative of the death and resurrection, dying to sin and being reborn in life. The act is symbolic of surrendering ourselves spiritually by letting go of fleshly desires and allowing God's grace and mercy wash over us. Mark 7 is a good reminder that commandments and traditions are in place to teach us about spirituality, not to be so strict that we lose the intent.
Lol, I was baptized by holy fire. Never read a bible Never knew God. Went to the new age before I found Christ. Then it took 7 years from my baptism of holy fire for Christ to ask me to be his. So.. being as you are often clothed in Gold and Scarlet I'm going to reserve judgement until our Lord and Saviour returns.
I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!
I think we get baptized only once - in the sense of: if we were ever baptized when we were younger or baptized by peer pressure or with doubts in our hearts - it isn’t considered a real baptism. But whenever we become baptized under the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with full surrender and wholeness of heart, it becomes true baptism - and that is the “one and done.” I was sprinkle baptized at 13. And I don’t think I was truly baptized at that time. I believe when I was in my thirties and finally found Jesus and sought baptism afterwards - that is when I was truly baptized for the first and only time.
Dear beloved, pls, All Infantry water Baptism is Wrong. We are Commanded to Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39, All Baptism according to Matthew 28:19-20, is Wrong, and Such will not Inherit the kingdom of GOD.
_And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit_ (Matthew 28:18-19)
I was baptized as a baby at a Baptist church and i dont remember it and i was a atheist for a while after that, then i finally saw jesus and felt i need to be babtized for a real choice and was batized and felt jesus spirit 🙏
Baptism doesn't save or condemn. You can do it a million times, and it won't be wrong. But there is no point to it. The Baptism that does count is the one followed by repentance.
Baptism IS NOT a requirement to be saved. It's one's way of delaring their faith in our Triune God in the presence of community. No different than receiving communion in church. Let us not forget that it's simply the grace of God that saves us, and not anything else.
_Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God_ (John 3:5) "born of water and the Spirit" = baptism
The thief on the cross wasn't baptized before Jesus stated that he would be spending eternity in paradise with Him. That whole scenario was a matter of the grace of God saving the thief because he had faith in Christ. The thief did nothing to earn his way into heaven aside from having faith in Jesus Christ.
@@mighty6908 That event happened before the Ascension of Christ and before the "Birth" of the Church on Pentecost. After our Lord's ascension, Christ commanded that Christians be baptized. Why don't you want to obey His command?
Baptism through the Holy Spirit is salvation.. Jesus Christ said you must be reborned, and he said reborned by Spirit... Water Baptism will not and never has given anyone salvation... Jesus Christ is the only way to receive Salvation. As soon as a person believes in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior, you receive the Holy Spirit, in turn is receiving salvation.. False teaching is saying you must be water Baptism to receive Salvation.... This teaching is not from Jesus Christ. This is a work salvation teaching... Run from this False Techer......
@@3wL7 "Born of water" is your natural birth, you know, when your mother's water broke. I believe in baptism, but learn to interpret Scripture correctly.
I was baptised at 16 (Church of England). The next step after baptism (trinitarian formula) is to be confirmed into the church. Both can only be done once. Praise be to God and peace be with you.
I was baptized under coercion by my mother at 13, over 40 years ago. I cared little for the church and went through (Lutheran) confirmation class and graduated, but only to appease her. I cared nothing for the whole experience at the time. So does that one baptism still count, now that I actually, FINALLY believe? Because my heart sure wasn't in it back then.
I Respectfully disagree. I was baptized as a baby in the Greek Othodox church. I didnt know anything nor did i have a choice in my beliefs. I was baptized by cultural expectations. I spent the next 35 years believing my own interpretation on God. Until i really found God through Jesus 5 years ago. Im not a model Christian but i carry my cross and repent and cry out to my lord more often then i would like but its because i spent many years living in sin and the price must be paid one way or another. My point is, i would be very happy to be baptized again. Only because this time it will be because i understand. I want to feel closer to God with this offering as a symbol of my absolute loyalty, love, gratefulness, and faith to our father. I dont see this as an issue. The baptism was a symbol of faith and love. The written word which our beloved bishop speaks of was meant to lead the lambs of God in the right direction. I believe that any step we take 2000 years later to become closer to God is love. God is love.
I was baptized when I was child at an apostolic church I know where must be born in the water and the spirit the feith on cross didn't have a chance that's outside my knowledge Jesus can do what he wants
I understand what the Bishop is saying here, but I think that he is slightly off. I think you could be baptized every day, Jesus wants you to be clean. When scripture refers to “one baptism” I believe that it means there is only one type of true baptism, that of the lord Jesus Christ.

Hmmm, I was baptized as an infant by the choice of my parents. The practice of my faith never surpassed the bare minimum to get a passing grade in each required class. Fast forward 60 years, I’m finally studying and growing in faith. I feel being baptized again, of my own free will and choice, would be my public declaration of my acceptance of Jesus Christ.
I was baptized in catholic when i was baby. But i still commit many sins. But the bible says repent your life and get baptized. And i get baptized again now 23 years old
I was baptized as a teenager but because of stuff at home i went down the wrong path. Ive always believed in God and i prayed many times. The last few years ive felt the need to become closer to the Lord and stronger in my faith. Ive been wondering if i should be baptized again. Im not orthodox. Im not sure what to do
You should speak with your pastor. Admittedly, I didn't watch this video. I have an ad blocker, so I can't see it, but there's nothing wrong with being baptized again. I've done it. Clearly, my Bible preaching pastor didn't think there was an issue either. I had to go through a pre-baptism Bible study with him, so he knew my backstory of being baptized once already. My first time was as a 7yo child (freely. I asked to be baptized after accepting Christ), and I chose to re-dedicate my life 40 years later. Like every other adult, I'd been through some things in my life, so the 2nd time hit a little differently for me.
@jmr9735 well I don't have a pastor. The one I was attending I liked the pastor very much but then they moved. I'm just not fond of the rest of the pastors around here
I was baptized as a baby, grew up as a Buddhist and had a near death experience at age 36 which made me turn to Christ I tried to get baptized again and they said no
Well the "they" that said NO are wrong and don't let false teaching keep you from receiving believers' water immersion baptism. Go to a Bible-believing and Bible-preaching Christian church and they will be happy to baptize you just as Jesus did for believers in the Bible. God bless and lead you in your faith journey.
Me too. Someone convinced me that my first one wasn't authentic because I was a child and didn't fully understand, so i did it a second time out if fear. I now realize that i didn't need to. I trust Jesus Christ alone as my Lord and savior and have received the Holy Spirit.
There's nothing wrong with getting baptized more than once I was baptized when I was younger but once I knew that I was truly serious be about Christ I got baptized again.
@@abrahamjohnson-gy8uz I hope you are not comparing Jesus great sacrifice to us getting baptized. If someone thinks they weren't true Christians the first time they got baptized then they should get baptized the second time when they become believers. I was baptized in a pond a baptism church. I really want to get baptized again because of all my since I have done for the past few years but I guess not after this.
Dear beloved, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who you believed, Died Once for your Sins, asked to know what name you was Baptized. Pls, All infant Baptism is Wrong.

I got baptized at 16 thought I was a believer but I still was smoking weed having lots of sex. And went to not believing after I got baptize because I didn’t mean truly believe anything about Christ. It was at a non denominational church. I’ve read more of the Bible in the last two months than I ever did going to church as a teen. I want to find an Orthodox Church in my city and my question is if I could ever do it over because now I truly have faith in Christ that I didn’t before. This is where I’m struggling because if it can’t be repeated I believe I’ve committed an unforgivable sin because I falsely got baptized when I didn’t mean it and it was for show to others
You all can confirm in act 19:1-6, there's a group of people Which were rebaptized once they receive a good news of God kingdom. But apart of this i entirely agree with this man of God because he's saying a truth. We as a church of Jesus Christ must be ready and prepared
I need to know, am I going to hell? I have been baptised and I know that God, Jesus and the Holy spirit are real. I feel so spiritually bipolar. I can't make myself behave right. I am often furious with myself and keep wanting to give up. I sin often and half the time I don't even care. It's like I'm trying to undo my relationship with God. I do love God, Jesus and the Holy spirit but I am failing to show that I do because the hate I have for myself is so strong. Please pray for me and my family. I am afraid that when I finally die ill be sent away from Heaven. Please help me
I was baptized as baby in the Catholic Church and around 2014 started going to another demonination church and people have said i should get baptized a 2nd time
I was baptized when I was 14 and I fell off my following of Christ. I'm turning 23 and I did plan to get baptized again eventually to show my regained faith in Christ. Is me being baptized again not a good idea then?
I was baptized as a Catholic as a baby (my mother is Catholic). I was then baptized as Orthodox as a baby… not sure why but my dad is Orthodox anyway. THEN I decided to get baptized at a Pentecostal church because I made that decision as an adult. Felt like I heard enough preaching on having to be born again… so need to be baptized… And then what happened? I revoked that baptism cause it didn’t feel right. I need help with this please. I feel like my spiritual walk has been messy cause I’ve never known where I stood. Personally I’m Orthodox. Dad raised us in Orthodox Church. I just never understood it because it was in a different language and I only speak English.
The first baptism is into the organization of the church. The second is by the Holy Spirit. Most people don't have more than one, only those that have been baptized as an unknowing infant, then came to Christ later on.
🤔I was baptized as a baby in the Roman Catholic Church. When I became a Christian at 27 and read that the Apostle Peter said ''repent and be baptized'' plus Mark says ''believe and be baptized'' it doesn't take much of a brain to understand that Repentance and Belief MUST COME BEFORE BAPTISM. A baby hasn't a clue what's happening. Plus after 12 years in a Roman Catholic boarding college it was plain to see that most students were not Christian in either their habits or belief. So as an ADULT BELIEVER I chose baptism as the Outward expression of what had taken place inside me the day I was Born Again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Nothing in Christianity is complicated if we folllow God's Holy Word the Bible.
I have a very important question. Please don’t ignore. When should I take that 1 baptism for my salvation also to become one in mystical body of Christ ? When I was a baby or when I grew up? If I have to take the baptism when I was a 6 months old baby, then I have no clue what salvation mean !
As a Catholic, it is my understanding that we are baptized to cleanse original sin. However, we are raised to understand our faith, and go through many steps, and are intended to understand our faith as we progress, first communion at age 10, with an understanding of it and of our covenant with Gospel. And THEN, as an adult, we make the decision to co firm our faith, and that is when we are fully part of the body of the church. Baptism should only be done once, regardless of denomination, and if you decide to become Catholic later in life and leave whichever church, you would go through OCIA; order of Christian initiation for Adults (Formerly RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Baptism is cleansing of an, confirmation is acknowledgement and understanding of the faith, and confirming it.
@@abrahamjohnson-gy8uz That is really between the individual and our Lord, isn't it? Problem is the term "baptized" does not mean the same thing today as it did in the first century. In the first century, it meant one chose to make a pledge of a good conscious towards God and become a follower of Christ, submitting to His teachings. Today, it has become a symbol for all kinds of man centered things. Having said that, it is really between an individual and our Lord.
Dear beloved, it is not Our Portion to really tell if an individual has Genuinely Repented, but, as We preach the Gospel of CHRIST, anyone who Believes, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, has Commanded that, he must be Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39, We can not Reply Our LORD JESUS CHRIST, over HIS Command, because, We are Slave in HIS Vineyard of Righteousness.
@@abrahamjohnson-gy8uz I don't think I ever said it is my portion to tell if an individual has genuinely repented. We do know it says those who gladly received the word were baptized. This suggests there was an inward change amongst those who were baptized.
I received a baptism at age 11 at a united methodist church but the water at the baptismal was just sprinkled on me I was not baptized/emersed in a lake so idk if it counted plus with all the controversial practices of the united methodist church these days I was just wondering if I need to be re-baptized
I was baptised when I was 11 as a Jehovah's Wittness and left their organisation ten years ago when I was 14. They are often referred to as Christians but do not believe there is a holy trinity. So, does No. 2 mean I should/can get baptised again, now in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
HI. I grew up with these people some of my siblings are still stuck there. I would recommend definitely getting baptized in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and renouncing that religion and professing faith in Jesus Christ! If you decide to do this expect serious opposition in accomplishing it. although see it through. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and keep you.
U know i was wondering this I was baptism twice, once at 10 and once at 14 to bad I didn't know this truth and now I feel dumb, well I now I'm concerned but ilk pray and ask God for more knowledge and understanding
Dear beloved, Water Baptism Exercise is done Once, because, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who you believed Died Once for your Sins, asked for the Knowledge of Water Baptism Exercise according to Acts 2:37-39, before undergoing It, because, it is a Suicide mission undertaken.
If somebody was baptized as a baby in Catholicism yet later in life, they were baptized in a protestant church. I don’t believe that they will go to hell.
Dear beloved, We cannot Lay another Foundation for Ourselves, Ephesians 2:20, Having been Built on the Foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, being the Chief Cornerstone. Brother Emmanuel Mari, in the Bible, who was Baptized in Father and Son?
All these people on here trying to justify their second baptism. 🙄 Did you not listen to what he said? Baptism is only done once, it doesnt help you to be baptized twice. Baptism is not between you and your protestant pastor. It is spiritual between you and Christ Jesus. If you want to renew your faith, great, but do it by reading your Bible and praying to God!!
Problems. If you had baptism when you were still a baby, can it still be considered as baptism? I mean it's not a baptism if you were drowned in water yet have no spritual thought in it.
@@IntoTheNothing1 Baptism is not our own works, Baptism is a calling and the way to the kingdom of Heaven, Baptism is a surrender of our own life.

Its why he asked how were you baptized. Getting babtized as an infant or child maybe more like a dedication for the parents, but it doesnt really count because its not your conscious decision.
Amen. Everything we do in the New Testament Church is done in faith

I presume your reply was directed at me.
He who comes AFTER me will Baptise you with the HOLY GHOST, and with Fire"
Many of you miss this fact. Idk why. You cannot earn salvation. It is 100% imputed unto you through FAITH!
Isaiah 53:12
"Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors."
Joel 2:28
“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
Acts 2:33
"Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear."
Acts 10:45
"And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also."
Romans 5:5
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
There are many more passages like these. Search the scriptures, search the Spirit, it leads in ALL Truth. God bless.

Every year you can renew you baptismal views which were said when you were a baby by your godparents.
and you have to confess by mouth that Jesus in the son of GOD, I have never herd an infant confess that

i was baptized as a baby but my parents slipped away from God and got deceived by the enemy and so did i until i found Jesus again in dec 2022 i love Jesus more than words can explain but im trying to figure out if i should get baptized again
I was baptised as a baby in the Catholic church. When I was 38, God (that's right, the Almighty himself) called me to a pentecostal church. There He asked me (second time I heard his voice) to be obedient - and I was baptised for the second time.
I believe you, for I received His Grace in the same manner. Our Father is so loving and faithful

Through repentence, your sins are forgiven.

You can only understand the Bible if you read the whole Bible and see the relation with the old testament. The Bible doesn't contradict. You don't get salvation from baptism but faith alone. Same as good works isn't bring tour salvation but faith comes with baptism and good works.
_Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God_ (John 3:5)
"born of water and the Spirit" = baptism

@3wL7 yes brother now my 2 cents imagine a person in the middle of China never hears about our lord and savior One and Only true God. But lives his life serving others with love and compassion I want to believe they 2 will make it to heaven.
Our good works is obedience to the laws of Jesus, Jesus said, if you love me, obey my commandments.
(Psalm 4:4)
Nothing comes from mere faith, but by loving God, which implies looking to please Him by doing good to His creation.
@@Cosmin_TheMusicGuy faith alone saves, it is the gift of God, Jesus died that we might be saved. Having faith will allow you live God, how do you love him without faith and how do you get faith except it be from God? To love Jesus we most certainly strive to please him.

True. Baptism also has to be performed by the right church!! If you are not baptized by the true church of Christ, then you are Catholic for life.
I was in a Pentecostal church that Baptized me in the name of Jesus Christ. A few years later I found dispensationalism, and got Baptized again in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38-39, 41
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Acts 19:5, 7
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
This is a lie, in the bible some men where baptised by john and some by the disciples after that with the holy spirit baptism
Never read a bible
Never knew God.
But whenever we become baptized under the Father, Son and Holy Spirit with full surrender and wholeness of heart, it becomes true baptism - and that is the “one and done.”
I was sprinkle baptized at 13. And I don’t think I was truly baptized at that time. I believe when I was in my thirties and finally found Jesus and sought baptism afterwards - that is when I was truly baptized for the first and only time.

Baptism IS NOT a requirement to be saved. It's one's way of delaring their faith in our Triune God in the presence of community. No different than receiving communion in church. Let us not forget that it's simply the grace of God that saves us, and not anything else.

I got baptized 3 times because I kept turning the wrong way and I made the same mistake but this does make perfect sense.
Thanks lord for your salvation
Dear beloved, you should have said, thanks LORD JESUS CHRIST,for my Salvation.

Pray for me, Pray that Lord guides me in His mercy and love and show me the right path and protects me from enemys evil plans. Pray for my parents salvation that Lord will save them they are still on believers, and always pray for Israel and for whole world. All glory to Lord Jesus Christ!❤️✝️☦️
Dear beloved, pls, ensure you are Correctly Baptized according to Acts 2:37-39.
Speak with your pastor and pray on it.
I've been baptized, but I was 13 and had no real understanding of the process. Shouldn't I be baptized again as an adult?
I have a very important question. Please don’t ignore. When should I take that 1 baptism for my salvation also to become one in mystical body of Christ ? When I was a baby or when I grew up? If I have to take the baptism when I was a 6 months old baby, then I have no clue what salvation mean !
Partially correct
If one is getting baptized again, it simply means one is making a pledge of a good conscience towards God again.
Dear beloved, the Baptism according to Acts 2;37-39, is Done Once, pls, Avoid its Repetition.
You, who are you to ignore the teaching, you will be judged for pride
I do agree with your point though
