GoPro Edit of our 6 day 2016 ski trip to Pitztal (Pitztaler Gletscher), Rifflsee and Hochzeiger Jerzens.
Filmed with GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition Camera and Feiyu Tech G4 stabiliser
We stayed within walking distance of the Rifflsee lift at Mandarfen in Tieflehn.
Shot 100% on GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition Camera.
Edited in GoPro Cineform Studio and iMovie.

Great video! I'm going skiing next week in Alpbach and am borrowing a GoPro 3+ black, what settings should I use? 1080p 60fps? Do you use Protune?
Hey Brian, sorry for not replying. I don't use Protune and filmed all of this video in 1080 60. When you export in just make sure the mpbs is really high and you'll retain as much quality as possible

nice edit, you mention using a gimbal, what mounts did you use throughout, a lot of handheld it appears, what else, helmet/chest, all with gimbal, even the handheld with gimbal? I have the feiyu wg3 gimbal and it adds quite a bit of weight for handheld. I'm looking to go up from my silver 3+ to the black 7 with stabilization, you?
blmeanie Thanks man, glad you liked it 👍🏼 Yeah mostly handheld with gimbal. A couple of helmet + chest, 1 with leg strap. I moved up to hero 5 Black + Karma about a year ago. Hero 7 in-cam stabilisation is insane

Hi, im interrested in the way you keep the quality high! After exported from cineform studios my footage alway looks kinda low in resolution
Hi, try bumping the quality up as high as you can when you export the edit - using the mbps slider. I think this was at max quality. Will take longer and use up more space but is the only way to get the quality to stay high. TH-cam and other sharing formats will compress the format and if it isn't high to start with it will look terrible by the time they're done with it.

No, absolutely not :D I just thought all good skier have their own skis ;)
Kabel Knrd haha we live in U.K. And I only get to ski a few days a year, my rentals this year were brand new out the box! Better than if I had my own!
