This is such an awesome video! I love to do tricks like these while skiing casually on the slopes. Please do more of this stuff. There are way to few of these kind of videos!
Seriously. soooo cool! I'm 40. this is rad. So into the flowy smooth controlled simplicity! thanks so much for sharing. It's cool to have solid fundamentals to build our own style from.
Had to take a year rest after 3 distortions on my left knee , next month going to ski and test my knee, watching your video makes more secure to succeed in what I most love do :)
Grew up in Colorado and spent every winter on the slopes. I moved to Germany before the season hit last winter and will be spending the next couple years in the UK, with very few mountains in sight. *Sigh* I miss the slopes.
Awesome vid! Would you guys consider making a video about taking your first big air jump ? I (and I think a lot of other guys) am considering it and am still afraid.. It is something to build up but... The big ones look SOO big. Can someone relate?
Great idea to have videos with some simple but fun tricks, really good when you are not 100% ready for something more difficult, but you want to have progress.
Hey I love your videos but I can’t do most of these, I’m on a race team tho and was wondering if you Could make a video on how to look cool carving or some tips with racing gates
Idk, i landed jumps and hitted big boxes and ramps and backward landings with the normal skis i got for free and made some of these but that kinda ollie he makes is hard on normal
Woow, on last video I commented, that it would be awesome if he made a video like this(from my other channel), and you really made it. man you're the best. + these tricks are actually really cool and fun. Greetings from Latvia , hehe
You are welcome if I would have found who commented on it I would have given you a shout out in the video. Sorry but could not find that comment. Thanks for the good tip!
Hi Stomp, would you like to try a new ski goggles for this year's snow reason. If you can make a ski goggles video for us ,we are willing to provide you one ski goggles to test.Really hope you can try our items,it is really cool goggle.Looking forward to hearing from you
I wanna do that very first front flip while standing still and then go on starting my run from there....... any ideas on how to make that look easy and fluent?!
Im just getting back into skiing at 38yrs old. Still in good shape. Last I skied was 17yrs old. I was jumping then but nothing major. I want to build more confidence since im more afraid of injury at my middle age. Attempting small jumps and easy tricks should help me. My question is if im renting skis from the resort, dont they set bindings to break off easier for beginners thus creating a higher probability of losing a ski when attempting some tricks that apply a lot if pressure to the bindings or am I completely off base and not understanding something? Should I stay away from trying tricks on beginner/intermediate rental skis? Ps love the vids. Very helpful!
nice, but i was waiting for the classic "put one nose tip in the snow and use it to pivot 180 to go switch"... or was that part of the "too old too lame" section?
Stomp It Tutorials those little shits! no appreciation for history. you need to make your own version of this video... "jens's oldschool delights" or something... i wanna see ironcross 360s with the poles sticking out of the head, d-spins, lincoln loops and that thing where you put your poles in your armpits and stand on the tips of the tails so its like you're sitting down midair (usually while smoking a cigarette and waiting your turn at the top of the inrun)

The most fun about skiing has to be just doing random tricks on the slopes :D
No it’s when you eat hard shit and land on your feet

„easy“
I sort of agree with you. But the tricks are easy in the first place but in order to make em cool it´s rather difficult.
Leaving in 5 minutes to my local mountain, going to try that shifty! Thanks pal

I don't know if you can do them now but i learned last week by just straight sending it on a smaller jump. Took about 3 attempts before i got it down.

Get some K2 skis and bindings and HEAD boots
what levels of tricks on jumps and rails should be be able to do that are likely to be able to get you sponsers?
The funny thing is I do not know how to do freestyle skiing but I’m very good at carving so switch 180 themselves are cool
