  • If your still watching this video it means you need help on getting to cameroon and I will suggest you subscribe to the channel
    Where ever your coming from make sure you get to calabar in Cross river state on time or if you arrive late you can spend the night here in calabar.
    I will advise you to always travel very early in the morning. The car going to ekan in bakassi peninsula is at mary slessor close to ecobank in calabar, taxi fee is 1200 it might increase base on when you see this video.
    It's 45minutes journey to ekan in Bakassi pennisula. When you arrive there ask of the ekan cameroon beach they will direct you or follow this video.
    Transportation to cameroon cost between 20,000 to 30000naira it might still increase.
    Pls when traveling make sure you have your passport and vaccine card.

    Indigines in bakassi are they Nigerians or Cameroonians roots and does bakassi still belong to Nigeria

    • @walkwithsimon
      @walkwithsimon  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bakassi is owned by cameroon, but the indigines still identify as Nigerians, the say their under cross river state. During election I saw many Nigeria campaign posters

      Based on the agreement called the green tree accord which sealed the peaceful handover of bakasi to Cameroon the Nigerian government upon handing over bakasi pleaded with the Cameroon government to allow it's citizens to continue leaving there for a number of years I think 20 to 30 years to enable the people and government plan properly for their relocation and resettlement in Nigeria. The administrative authorities are Cameroonians and the medium of exchange is either CFA or Naira though Naira is very popular due to the huge Nigerian community present. The two people cohabit very peacefully and the Cameroonian forces are very keen in preserving peace and stability in the area thereby strengthening the existing fraternal cohabitation.
