Nigeria has one of the most varied and beautiful landscapes in the world but it is hidden. We don’t love ourselves enough to love our beautiful country and so we hide its beauty behind the shame of our corrupt leaders
Everything is not about leaders, we all owe Nigeria the responsibility to show the beauty of Nigeria just like this man is doing. How we conduct and behave to foreigners in our land and abroad matters. Everything will fall in place in due time. Don't forget we are still young as a country, but have been through a lot, remain hopeful.
I think that most people, the world over, suffer the same problem: most don’t extensively travel around (& get to know) their own country. Therefore, we represent our country, through ignorance.
As a Congolese woman raised in France, I used to work in Nigeria, in many places such as Abuja, Jahun, Maiduguri, Monguno....I was always amazed by the landscape, the various cultures, people are nice and proud to be Nigeria. The first time I landed there I felt a strong connection and quickly learn to speak husa.... people were so shocked I learned so fast....I really enjoyed my time there and keep going @david...you are doing a very educative job❤
You are so right, the Nigeria portrayed by the global media is so twisted. One only has to set foot there and you will in love with the place and the people.
Lové lové lové This! As a Cameroonian i have never heard about the giant foot in Cameroon. I am so invested and I want to see more. Thank u so much for bringing us along with via ur camera Much love 🇨🇲❤
I believe that there are additional footprints that have been wiped away by the wind and water. As you can see, the footprints you’ve found are most likely clay that has weathered into rocks over time. What an amazing discovery!!
I’m from Scotland we have the same stones as you and ours go under the sea and connect with the ones in Ireland. We also have a giant foot print in the hills across from my house. The story goes that when the ancient kings were to be crowned they has to have one foot in the foot print at summer solstice and kneeled facing the rising sun.
Heard of Giant's Causeway (if I read you correctly) but NOT heard of the "Crowning Ritual" or the footprint. Will try to find information on it. I presume you know of the "Grave of Scotia" which is something I heard of only in the last two years.
@@katiebea9258 it's up north, a place called Dunadd. Long before they did coronations at Scone they crowned our King at Dunadd. I'm sure there was foot shaped hole in a rock on a hill and the Kings foot had to fit in the stone or he couldn't be crowned, or something like that 🤔
@@williamwaddell6799 well, that dove me into a rabbit hole of videos on the "footprint ceremony"'s location and drone footage of that magnificent "hill fort". Fetched up on *Celtic History Decoded* channel and others. There seems to be stubborn controversy on different angles of ancient Scottish history; primarily as so little written on Scots by Scots. And you can trust "third party" histories only so much in some cases. Imagine what the enemies of the Pictish Scot's vs Gaelic Scot's (much less Romans) would twist of "history", if it's only taken forty years to twist USA history from HOW I view the Founding Fathers and the USA Constitution vs the twisted image being pushed in American schools today. Warm breezes, soft sun, gentle rains on you and y(our)'s.
Man, the sweeping vistas are breathtaking, but the subplot of finding the footprints is so captivating, too. I love the storytelling in your documentaries.
I love this documentary cos it made me remember my NYSC days, I served in Taraba state, and twice went to Gembu during the Census of 2006. Their grasses are green all year round, the roads are all hilly, and I think it's the coldest town in Nigeria. You can hardly see air conditioners there. Food is generally cheap, and so also honey, cow, and fruits, especially mangoes. Their main means of transportation is the bike, although some cars can be seen those days. Still remember eating Kumbi soup, and a lot of suya. I will definitely find my way back there one day, God willing. Kudos bro.

Hi, I'm very grateful for coming upon ur video. I'm Native American of the Shoshone-Paiute tribes. I love seeing ur beautiful country, especially beautiful ppl. Watching u drink natural water is refreshing. The water on our reservation has been poisoned by an old mine that's about 15 miles south of our reservation. I remember when we were kids being able to drink the water from the natural springs n swimming in the river that runs thru our reservation. It's such a great shame how ppl have caused too much destruction to our Mother Earth. It's truly sad that our ancestor's lives were violently taken for that, only for the beautiful precious lands n environment to be destroyed. I look forward to watching ur videos. God bless*

Here in South Africa on the border with Eswatini (old Swaziland) there is a giant footprint caleed " footprint of God". I also see some rock formations in Botswana which may be burial sites of these giants. These huge rocks are perfectly round and we can see that they were moved to those places. Rocks are too big to have been moved by men.

Amazing. Thanks for sharing
You are so right, the Nigeria portrayed by the global media is so twisted. One only has to set foot there and you will in love with the place and the people.
@@monica534many base Nigeria to be Lagos and Lagos is like very small percentage.
Lové lové lové This! As a Cameroonian i have never heard about the giant foot in Cameroon. I am so invested and I want to see more. Thank u so much for bringing us along with via ur camera Much love 🇨🇲❤
Your welcome brother. thanks for watching
We will tell the world the beautiful things our mother Africa got to offer the world, proud of you bro
I believe that there are additional footprints that have been wiped away by the wind and water. As you can see, the footprints you’ve found are most likely clay that has weathered into rocks over time. What an amazing discovery!!
Thanks for this comment because I was just asking myself how a giant foot can make a print on a rock 🪨
I agree with you that there are many more foot prints between the print in Nigeria and Cameroon
Hunh? " ... clay that has weathered into rocks..."
What are you talking about?
@@jajaka1860 clay can weather into rocks through the process of lithification, which involves compaction and cementation. I stand to be corrected.

Are u from Dunadd?
@@katiebea9258I always wanted to go to Dunadd. I need to make a point of doing it sooner rather than later. Where u from Katie?
Man, the sweeping vistas are breathtaking, but the subplot of finding the footprints is so captivating, too. I love the storytelling in your documentaries.
Thank you

Nigeria is such a beautiful Country. Those views from the motorbike made me relate the area
Am from Adamawa state very close to taraba but I have never heard of this story thank you for showing us through the lens of your camera.
I don't understand this story how is it possible one giant leg is In Nigeria and the other leg is in Car😮meroon nice place in Nigeria. 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬
Amazing
just amazing this is.
thank you my brother.
Kudos bro.
Its a lovely place indeed. This video just dropped. you may want to see this one: th-cam.com/video/yY6rc74ga_U/w-d-xo.html
Now I totally regretted redeploying from taraba back to the west during NYSC
Incredible. Thank you for sharing
I felt like I was there, riding along with you guys seeing Nigeria , beautiful, thank you!
Am from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean and am subscribed to your channel....you are doing a great job ...going where no one goes .😊...it's such a beautiful place... My country has Africans who came to work the plantations as well as East Indians....I am an east indian because my fore fathers came from India as well as my African brothers and sisters fore fathers...am so impressed by your courage to do these documentaries.....may God continue to keep you and dive you strength for your journeys and provide for you always ..🙏❤️🙏
Whatever. Caribbeans are not and will never be African. Our identity will never belong to you. And they didn’t “come” to work, they were FORCED, all of you folks there were enslaved whether you admit it or not.
This is very inspiring. You are actually living my dream. I can't wait to start showing Nigeria to the world. It's is a 2024 goal for me.
yES YOU CAN DO IT
Geezzz
What a journey!!

A real eye-opener, traversing these other regions of the great nation of Nigeria offers an insight that is genuinely valuable time on TH-cam. I find the interview with the elder of Kabrila and scope of the people enlightening, please keep up this worthy project.

What a beautiful country, thanks for your presentation. Watching from UK. It would be good to get a geologist and biologist out there to understand the terrain in more detail.
This is honestly amazing! Our very own discovery. Thank u David!

God bless you Bro. It takes lots of heart to do what you've done. You deserve every recognition that comes from your work.
Been enjoying your videos David. Africa is under-represented and i really enjoy seeing it from your perspective.
Plateau state has the most beautiful weather and natural landscape in Nigeria. Gods amazing creation.
Bruh this place has so much potential, the scenes are beautiful, so close to nature
Its an amazing place
God bless*
Wow! This is a brilliant adventure, I'd love to do this..Well done, this is how to live pushing limits !!
Thank you. have you seen this: rb.gy/bwwydz

This video brings back memories to me. I served in Taraba and wish I visited Gembu. But I couldn’t as Gembu was about 11 hours from the village where I served. Good job 👏🏻
African so Big Country and also the people who are living in Hot Weather.
I feel like going there but not enought effort to do so.
Thanks for showing this video for me to watch. ❤
Watching this video brings back sweet memories of when I did some work at the mambilla plateau as far back as 2004, that place is beautiful

My state (Taraba), I'm proud😊. I hope you enjoyed the weather and food? I know this journey wasn't easy at all. Well done. I love this video.
Stumbled upon this video and just decided to check it out. Beautiful...Nigeria is indeed beautiful, if only our leaders would leverage on tourism, etc. Very nice scenery. Wouldn't mind going to these places if only security is right.

Anyone that says Nigeria was a mistake is a great joke we should appreciate what God has done for as a country so lovely but the greedy politicians trying to frustrate the work of God in us Nigeria is blessed
Nigeria is man made by Britain so its a joke unless Britain is your God
Are you brother to David
Yes, it's a mistake. If not, you won't be learning about what this chap is showing you after over 60 years of inDependence. You all know less than 1% of the history of the people and places in the geographic space called Nigeria.
Hello from England. I really enjoy your videos thank you. Such a beautiful country 😊❤
It's good that ppl all across the globe are able to visit these countries without leaving their house! Thanks to all the utubers. 😃

Thank You So Much for this Beautiful Journey! So much of our history is hidden from us. So we must look to the Indigenous People’s for the Truth and answers. Giants are told about in Indigenous stories all over the world. So very interesting and Thank You again for going on this journey that we can see! Many Blessings with Love, Light, Peace and Joy of Being! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania

People from here can do well in a marathon if they wanted to.
Beautiful presentation! Well-done!
The landscape is mind blowing so beautiful! Nigeria is blessed but the greedy politicians they have mess up big time.
Thanks for sharing. Very true. I am an American in Botswana, near some of those large stones. Perhaps, I will record them and upload. I've always thought that these were places by giants.
This is so inspiring and touching to watch. I love it ❤
