Last year you hit ST190 fitted with Fujikura Atmos shaft. ST190 : 282m carry, 296m total. Same carry, bit less roll (than ST200 with Diamana shaft), BUT all your ST190 shots got on the green... I think the Atmos is a better shaft (newer technology than the Mitsi Diamana), and would be a better match for the ST200.

The only way I will every get a chance to try any Mizuno driver is if I order online, wait 2to6 weeks, stare at it for two days because of its beauty, find out when is a good time to call in sick to get to the local driving range, and if I have time give it a go on the course and pray that the boss is not there. Not one store in my neck of the woods carry Mizuno. The only exception is a lucky find at a second hand store: an mp t5 56deg wedge... still in the wrapper.
Definitely hit the G!!! When I hit it, it was the lowest spinning combo I’ve ever hit. Avg spin 1718 and long bombs... personally I’ve move the weights all the way to be more forgiving, but it’s an awesome driver. Lower spinning than the SIM for me
My irons are up for replacement this year and the MP20 range realy cought my eye. Always played Titleist but the latest models are not doing it for me. Smart looping driver, expecially for the money. Will give this one a try during my ironfitting 😄
ST200G. Played Mizuno drivers since the MP600. Mizuno do a lot of things first... sliding weights, cortech, carbon crowns. They just don't shout loudly enough about it. One of the reasons I've always been and always will be a Mizuno player...... ;-).
Awesome review AL and I love the classic look of this driver. I would deffo walk by this and that is my fault.. time for a re-think. Can you test the fairway wood? Would love to know how that performs. Cheers as always

Hey Alex, I am wondering if you can get a straight answer from Mizuno as to why we are paying the same price for this driver as the Maverick and the Sim when it is 100 quid cheaper in the UK and there’s a similar difference in the US????
Just bought the ST200, went in to buy the Cobra or the SIM and this blew both away. It was just the longest but the forgiveness was off the scale. It's also only £299, please give it a try.
Man I wish we could get mince pies in the States. Have not had any since my grandmother made them. Now to the drivers, I had an old T-zoid and it was a great driver for the times it was out. Have not tried the new Mizuno but maybe
i have the st190 with the ventus velocore blue 6s .. best driver i have had ... dunno if the 200 will be that much different .. if i moved to the 200 i would have to keep the velocore
Geeze Al, you should be on the Mizuno marketing team. It may have been called the Mizuno SSSS200 driver. Personally, I would have pushed for SSBB200 ;-) I wouldn't mind your heely strikes though. Mine are more like your 2nd shot into house 314 only they stay in-bounds because they are 60 metres shorter :)

BigAl you MUST explore the G....spot......with an extra STIFF Shaft!!!!!!!!!!! You know you want to😜 If I was in the market for a new driver I would defo be giving the Mizuno a serious look and if it looked too much like the driver that a Bank Manager or worse still an Accountant would use, you could always draw a smiley face on top of the crown????

Out of all those Cobra, Taylormade, Callaway, Titleist heads etc., the Srixon Z 785 and the Mizuno ST200 heads outperformed all of them. Eventuell the Srixon had the best results, but not by much. Love both brands for their performance and looks.
@@gzman1 Both. But not yardage … meters. ;-P The Srixon gives me amazingly tight groupings while still outperforming the 2019 models of the other major brands in terms of meters. I mean, the average smash with this one lies neatly at or slightly above 1.5 for me at roughly 188kph clubhead speed
St200g, been hearing it is the lowest spinning driver on the market with the weight moved to the front. Your high spin drives would be a great test for that theory.

Tried it! Liked it a lot. But it’s not replacing my Cobra 🐍. 290 was my max with the stock 60S. Liked the flight and has a good sound.
