Bought one. Love it, and it was instantly in the bag. Mizuno irons are unmatched, especially my MP20's, and now they have given the golfing community a fantastic driver as well. In my opinion, there's Mizuno, and then there's everything else. And no, I dont work for Mizuno.

Hi Andy I recently traded up and bought a Mizuno ST190 G with and I love it. I also bought a set of Mizuno MP18 SC irons with KBS C taper lite stiff shafts, I love than and I realized why I loved my old Mizuno TP 11 irons back in the 80’s they feel and play amazing and my ST190 woods are the same I also have a CLK HYBRID. Keep the rest Mizuno are the best!! Nothing Feels Like a Mizuno!!!

Tried the ST180 which I traded in very quickly, as could not stand it - went no where and all over but friend loves his! Got a Srixon driver now which is the longest and most consistently straight driver I have ever had since my wooden Dunlop blue flash - love it and the price I paid!

I have a Mizuno ST190G. It's the best driver I've ever had. Mind you it's the first I've really been fitted for. Its dialed down to 7* with a 70g X kuro kage shaft. I've been hitting 340 yard drives while warming up for my indoor league.

I use Mizuno irons and ordered three new S20 wedges, fitted, four months ago, great clubs. I’d love to buy a Mizuno driver .. but .. am getting 200-230 yards from my Ping driver which I’ve had for years. I’m 70 this year but always looking to improve my golf and maybe a new driver might help!

Mizuno drivers are very under rated , they don't have lots of tour players on their books so don't sell as many, but Mizuno don't make rubbish.

I had a taylormade M1 that I had for years and loved. I tried the new Mizuno and traded my taylormade in right away. Both great brands but I think the feel, sound, and forgiveness is better with the Mizuno.

@@TheAverageGolfer I'm about 95mph like yourself. I would be really interested in seeing you hit the X and whether you fitted yourself with that lightweight shaft or went with something more 'normal'. That would be fun to watch. I'll bet my local superstore knocks that driver out for £249 too.
I'm having my usual course of 6 lessons now so no point trying anything until late May.

Played Mizuno drivers since the MP600. Perform as well as anything else out there if fitted. The 650 was a cannon. Currently playing the 190G. May demo the 200, probably not that much to gain for me but maybe forgiveness, possibly, I do play the 190G with the weights back but with the TS black shaft. Max forgiveness and the shaft deals with the spin and launch. Always good reviews and a pleasure to watch. Keep it up, Rhod.

I tried it, LOVE the looks of both crown and sole. The head sits more square compare to the st190 (The face looks close a bit.) Performed as good as current drivers on the 2020 market. Down side, prefer more like a muted carbon sound (Sim and Marvrik produce the best sounding.) In my opinion..

Have had a Mizuno JPX850 driver in my bag for nearly 5 years now. Got it set up for my swing during the fitting and haven’t altered any setting on it since. For me the numbers were better than the titleist, ping and Taylormade that I tried at the time. I hit it well, fairly straight on the whole and get a good distance, why would I look to change it? It’s all about the performance and not about the brand or having the ‘latest’ offering. For us normal golfers I think it takes a bit of time to fully get use to any golf club, so swapping every year doesn’t mean better performance!

Thanks Andy - I used to have Mizuno through the bag which was OK until graphite shafts came in for woods. Miz irons were always good but they struggled with graphite shafted woods... until last year when they seemed to get a handle on the requirement. This seems a further stride forward and narrows the gap to the the leading suppliers. I'm looking to give the ST200 a go... but I might just end up re-shafting my TS3!!

I tried both versions of this Andy but i just couldn't get on with the look of them and numbers reflected my low confidence levels as they were slightly down when i tried the cobra speedzone so i opted for the sz. I'm not the most accurate ball striker but with the mizuno and cobra i didn't notice big drop offs when struck out of toe or heel so both these drivers i would class as very forgiving.

Tried Mizuno woods on a demoday and was pleasantly surprised. Play MP 18 irons at the moment and also T7 wedges but never liked Mizuno woods. But that changed last year. It is that I just was fitted for Titleist TS3 fairwaywood and driver but otherwise I probably would have put the Mizuno woods in the bag. Cheaper and certainly same performance and great feel/sound ....maybe in the future also Mizuno woods in the bag👍🏽

After some very good reviews I read for several years, late last fall I purchased used a ST180 and it looked great. Then I hit it on the range and no matter what loft I adjusted to I could not get it up in the air, I new it was a low spin driver but wow, I could not believe how it did a nose dive out of the sky at about 170 yards out and then slaughtered generations of worms before it stopped rolling out around 200 yards. At the end of the range session I grabbed my own driver and hit it as usual 200-210 plus in the air ( I'm old ) and rolled out to around 225 yards or so. Low spin drivers are not for older players with lower swing speeds. I kind of new that before buying it, but lesson learned, no more low spin drivers for this old player. Good video TAG, thanks.

Haven't tried the ST 200 yet, but I tried the 190 last year and the performance was right up there. I try just about every new driver that comes out, but they haven't been enough to make me give up my G400 lst, distance wise. There are a few this year that, even though they aren't really any longer, they could win purely on forgiveness. I find my my dispersion circle to be really small with the Cobra SZ max, the Cleveland Turbo launcher, and the SIM. I can hit those as hard as I want to, and get basically the same shot. Maybe the ST200 will be similar.

IMO all drivers should be max of 249 to 349 USD. 500 plus for a driver? Paying hundreds for maybe a few feet. Unless you're scratch or a near pro, new driver will change nothing in your game. Glad to see a channel reviewing cheaper options for a change.

Only have 7 iron to Lob wedge. I’m not a member anymore so my handicap doesn’t mean anything. I’m going around, off the stick, sub 90 regularly with a best of 83. On a good course. Hybrids and no driver are the key. My 30 degree hybrid is working well just off the green. I get to 2 feet chip and run a lot now. Chipped in a few times now. I’m not a traditional golfer anymore.

Because Mizuno don’t overcharge their customers the golf snobs say they are the “budget” option rather than saying that they perform as well as anything else and are the other manufacturers not overcharging the golfing public! Plus, Mizuno will fit you to any of the shafts they offer for the same price so you can get the best performing club for you. What are other manufacturers doing?

Great question, I would literally need to put them head to head and it would be down to fine margins in terms of performance for me as an individual, very little to split as I like the look and feel of both

The mizuno comes with a low spin head and low launch shaft hence the peak height, without being horrible this club is not aimed at someone with a sub 105 swing speed.

There is nothing wrong with Mizuno drivers actually they're as good if not better than all the other drivers they're the only ones using sp700 beta titanium which if your swing speed is upwards of 110 miles per hour you do not want the spring-like effect that you get with six alv for titanium I did professional long drive for 17 years we always wanted some kind of beta titanium it's 15 to 20 points higher on the Rockwell hardness gauge just think about it you do not want the ball deforming like an egg and that's what happens the longer the ball sits on the face which is what happens with 6 Al for the titanium look for Mizuno going with better grade materials

I game a mizuno driver can't remember what it is tbh been a while since looked at my clubs pretty cold out there, head is gd tho I like it, not so much my new shaft feels heavier than old one loved that one but it broke and I went with cheapest replacement option that was in shop at time or it could just be me swinging awful lol
Been enjoying the reviews in general course ones I like more real testing I guess.

Does anybody notice how he swings to flat in back swing then over the top? Hard to get good numbers and contact that way 🤔

If your serious about your game and getting the best numbers you can than you should never buy because of a name! Try everything buy the best for you! That would include a L flex shaft if you’re getting the best results. Your buddies won’t laugh long when their paying you after each round! They’ll go get fitted too!

Your review was very good, until you put up all data. Your smash factor on average is 1.53 and that’s impossible, tour average is 1.42 to 1.45. Can’t take you seriously going going off that, sorry.
