I was against Pattinson being Batman until I saw him in The Lighthouse. That changed my mind about Pattinson, and I know he's trying really hard to erase that past and trying to move forward. All we can do is just give him a chance. And I hope he proves me wrong because I felt the same way about Heath Ledger as the Joker and when The Dark Knight came out, I shut my damn mouth and saw that movie about 10x.

I love as the punches go on at first it sounds like he is hitting a solid objects but when that dude is on the ground it sounds like he is punching mashed potatoes
What I'm picking up from the trailer is When Batman says "I'm Vengeance" instead of "I'm Batman" He is still in his early days of vigilantism and right now he is more about the punishment than the justice as we can see when he goes overboard brutality on that guy and I think this is going to be his arc with Hush basically showing him a mirror that yeah you might not kill them but you are still no different then the criminals you are brutally beating you are doing the exact same thing that they do to the innocent people of the Gotham and he will have the realization that he needs to be more than just a vigilante he needs to be a symbol of justice and by the end of the movie Batman would be more calm and collective and for Justice and I guarantee the last line in the movie would be him beating up some criminal and saying "I'm Batman" But that's just a theory

We are going to see batman with this suit but then we see him upgrade his tech and gets a new suit in this movie and they have only filmed 25 percent of the film and we already have this!! And we getting 3 movies... oh by the way the gun that killed his parents is THE BAT LOGO ON HIS CHEST!!

I actually REALLY like the mask off/smudged black around the eyes bit at the end, because in all of the other Batman movies the mask is just on or off and automatically the area around the eyes are blackened. I may be wrong but I don’t recall ever seeing Wayne pull the mask off after a fight, showing that he’s sweaty, tired and his hair is messy. I kinda dig it. Plus he’s playing a young Batman, so he isn’t as “polished” yet. Playing Bruce Wayne as less restrained and more haunted is intriguing. Watching the DC FanDome interview, the director said that because Batman is only 2 years in, he’s still considered a master detective but also a mysterious vigilante and he will have to deal with the fact that the people of Gotham are unsure of his true purpose and are afraid of him. So this isn’t the hero Batman yet that we have always been shown. Also, the standard villains are still early in their development at this point, and in the trailer we see an early version of Cat Woman, played by Zoe Kravitz. The director said they have only shot about 20% of the movie at this point, which makes this trailer even more impressive! I am SUPER excited for this movie!
He surpassed christian bale batman in just this trailer. Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, and superb directing carried The Dark Knight. Bale was an ok BruceWayne. His batman voice killed it for me. That's why college humor's badman is so funny.

I love everything about Batman in his early stage, nothing but hate, anger and brutality. Bruce in this is obviously filled with hate and depression from his struggle with his parents. Plus I feel like the corruption in Gotham is going to be a major part in this, it looks like the Riddler is trying to expose certain corruption elements by any means necessary by what he was saying in this trailer and obviously Batman is following it all. I feel like the Court of Owls will show up.

The reason why Batman of all DC characters can be portrayed in so many ways, is because Batman be it a fictional character and story, actually was created from real world influences. NY 1930's+ Mob crime era. You can shift the timeline around but the general basics of the story applies themselves more to the location not the time. The time just gives the style and tone of the film, and most film makers who undertook batman mixed the era. a bit of old and new. Batman in every way could for all intent and purposes be real. so we can really get into the story much easier because it doesnt take much to apply truth to the story.

The didn't reneg on Suicide Squad at all............Yes Margot Robbie is back but Joel Kinnaman is back as RIck FLagg, Jai Courtney is back as Boomerang and Viola Davis is back as Waller. The only reason Will SMith didn't come back was because he was filming Bright 2 and couldn't do it but he asked WB not to recast the part of Deadshot so he can return. TSS is a sequel to the original one.
Man I was one of those people who didn't believe in he could do it but he prove to me wrong. I doubting him cause he couldn't bulk up lol. But the fact he doesn't need it cause he has his martial arts fighting skills. All you need is to outsmart your opponent. This is the direction DC should have been doing from the get-go instead of chasing after what Marvel was doing, considering DC comics had more drama than Marvel! When 'Logan', with its R rating, came out that should have been a hint to DC that ''superhero'' movies can be told in a brutally honest way as long as the story is told right, but DC was still trying to do it like what I call the ''Marvel way''....keeping it family friendly and chasing someone's elses idea which was failing for DC. So after Deadpool [another R rated comic book movie] came out, I was glad SOMEONE got a clue and said ''when we do Joker let's not only do an origin story [finally DC!!!] but let's bring a brutal realism to it''....and NOW we have *The Batman* I know some people keep wanting to give it the equivalent of 'Seven' on the feel of it, but I like to go back as far as what *Tim Burton* tried to do when he brought Batman to the screen for the first time. He was going for the dark, gothic look with moments that were really dark if you think about it, before Joel Schumaker came along and neon colored everything! Thankfully Nolan came along and course corrected THAT! Anyway, I don't want to get too hyped until the movie officially comes out, BUT I have a sneaky suspicion that they put out this teaser to get people's reactions to see if they are going in the right track.....yes you are Matt Reeves, YES you are.

I love this line because lady Justice wears a blindfold. I still don't know the riddle but I like the symbolism in those words.

The didn't reneg on Suicide Squad at all............Yes Margot Robbie is back but Joel Kinnaman is back as RIck FLagg, Jai Courtney is back as Boomerang and Viola Davis is back as Waller. The only reason Will SMith didn't come back was because he was filming Bright 2 and couldn't do it but he asked WB not to recast the part of Deadshot so he can return. TSS is a sequel to the original one.

Man I was one of those people who didn't believe in he could do it but he prove to me wrong. I doubting him cause he couldn't bulk up lol. But the fact he doesn't need it cause he has his martial arts fighting skills. All you need is to outsmart your opponent. Plus Bruce Lee was never bulk he was cut and knows how to kick ass and he was smart.

This is the direction DC should have been doing from the get-go instead of chasing after what Marvel was doing, considering DC comics had more drama than Marvel!
When 'Logan', with its R rating, came out that should have been a hint to DC that ''superhero'' movies can be told in a brutally honest way as long as the story is told right, but DC was still trying to do it like what I call the ''Marvel way''....keeping it family friendly and chasing someone's elses idea which was failing for DC.
So after Deadpool [another R rated comic book movie] came out, I was glad SOMEONE got a clue and said ''when we do Joker let's not only do an origin story [finally DC!!!] but let's bring a brutal realism to it''....and NOW we have *The Batman*
I know some people keep wanting to give it the equivalent of 'Seven' on the feel of it, but I like to go back as far as what *Tim Burton* tried to do when he brought Batman to the screen for the first time. He was going for the dark, gothic look with moments that were really dark if you think about it, before Joel Schumaker came along and neon colored everything! Thankfully Nolan came along and course corrected THAT!
Anyway, I don't want to get too hyped until the movie officially comes out, BUT I have a sneaky suspicion that they put out this teaser to get people's reactions to see if they are going in the right track.....yes you are Matt Reeves, YES you are.
