This is pretty much a dream role for Robert, in movie commentaries and interviews he would make Batman references and whatnot and I think once he was considered for this role it was an opportunity he definitely would not pass up no matter what the haters thought
seems like this Bruce/Batman will have amazing depth and character development, which was missing from other batman movies. Although, those movies were great/good in their own places.. this one will be unique and more character driven. Very excited and Pattinson will be stellar!

Absolutely amazing... It really hits the psyche hard, doesn't it? So many reacters seem like they need a little time to process what they just saw. I've watched about 120 reactions so far, and everybody loves it, except for one guy (Nerdrotic), but he's usually negative, and not much seems to make him happy. As for me, I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it. Batman lost control and I think I like it. 🤣
Everyone who has followed Robert Pattinson's career knew he was going to be great. The other ones are just clueless trolls who can only rely on Twilight, such a cheap shot. This is going to be incredible!!!
I actually was worried. Not because of Roberts acting, cause He proved more than once that He is a great actor in the past few years. I was Kind of worried about his physical appearence. But with this take on batman this might actually work Out pretty well. I like it.
He was even good in Twilight. Rob played the role as written. Edward was both arrogant and filled with self loathing at the same time. One of Stephanie's biggest mistake was making her vampires sparkly. Between that and so much focus on the love triangle there was only a slim chance for the series to be accepted by a wider audience. The screen play was weak in the first film and many people refused to watch the sequels which had more action.

And yes the trailer, especially considering they're only 30% through production, was absolutely amazing. And the entire cast is going to kill it. You can't even recognize Collin Ferrell. If he was holding the guy and his head wasn't against the floor and in the air, then he's fine he's just out cold with a broken arm and face.

First... Matt Reeves knowledge and enthusiasm behind his story and vision was captivating. And coming from someone who we’ve seen execute Planet of the Apes 🦧 n such a sharp and ingenious way it was extremely exciting to hear. Knowing the movie isnt even finished at only 25% and seeing this much and the direction. Its flooring. No color saturation or polishing, mostly all practical effects and there’s still over 70% more to be filmed and finished. Wow. I dont think they need to release another trailer. Leave it like this and take my money 2,3,4 times. Great review dude
This will be the early era of Batman when he still getting ehm.. accustomed to beating the shit out of people for justice. Dark, gritty and Batman as we never seen in live action before. I don't know if the fight was all pure rage , the way I see the character of Batman tends to see him as more calculating. I think maybe it was both rage , because the movie is to occur close to the start of his vigilantism and calculation because if you're going into hand to hand combat outnumbered a degree of intimidation could be helpful.

Christian Bale is a brilliant actor to have played Batman, but Nolan never really gave us the type of movie that allowed him to delve really deep into Bruce's psyche. We never really got to see the depth of character that Bruce is, and the psychology behind his decision and drive to do what he does. I feel like Reeves is a director who will facilitate Pattinson to go really deep into who this guy is, internally. He does these long takes and loves showing subtle expressions - just look at shots of Ceasar in the Apes movies. That's what I wanted from Nolan, just longer takes with us looking at Batman and figuring out what's going on in his head. Slower and deliberate. Just Batman doing very little in the darkness. I think Reeves is going to lean into that much more, and Pattinson has the acting chops and the intensity to deliver.
I was worried because of pattinsons Lack of physical appearence. But with this take on batman this might actually work pretty well. Affleck and Bale performed batman as a controlled and calm fighter. Always in controll over their actions. But in this batmans fighting style looks anger filled and on the edge of loosing controll over himself. Like in a rage. That does fit to a dirtier and more broken batman. I am surprised in a good way.
Also if you look at batman comics from the 70s (the detective era), Batman has a more athletic figure compared to the more jackep up version (Jim lee). So it fits the crime drama style of the movie

Christian Bale is a brilliant actor to have played Batman, but Nolan never really gave us the type of movie that allowed him to delve really deep into Bruce's psyche. We never really got to see the depth of character that Bruce is, and the psychology behind his decision and drive to do what he does. I feel like Reeves is a director who will facilitate Pattinson to go really deep into who this guy is, internally. He does these long takes and loves showing subtle expressions - just look at shots of Ceasar in the Apes movies. That's what I wanted from Nolan, just longer takes with us looking at Batman and figuring out what's going on in his head. Slower and deliberate. Just Batman doing very little in the darkness. I think Reeves is going to lean into that much more, and Pattinson has the acting chops and the intensity to deliver.

I was worried because of pattinsons Lack of physical appearence. But with this take on batman this might actually work pretty well. Affleck and Bale performed batman as a controlled and calm fighter. Always in controll over their actions. But in this batmans fighting style looks anger filled and on the edge of loosing controll over himself. Like in a rage. That does fit to a dirtier and more broken batman. I am surprised in a good way.
Also if you look at batman comics from the 70s (the detective era), Batman has a more athletic figure compared to the more jackep up version (Jim lee). So it fits the crime drama style of the movie
