When the movie wa sout in the theaters there was a anime convention and I cosplayed Blade during the event and we went to watch the movie. I was not expecting Blade would be in the movies, that was the best day for me 😌

Edit- I always noticed the growl and beat drop when Blade walks out, which is badass, but I just noticed while watching this that there is a little cat meow when Gambit comes out. That’s hilarious.
What about the human torch? I sadly got Blade spoiled days before seeing it, literally the day after it came out I got it spoiled. Variety spoiled Elektra’s cameo in it like months before the movie finally came out. The Human torch is the only one that genuinely shocked me. Sabretooth & X-23 were in the trailers. Psylocke, Azazel, Toad & Juggernaut were huge let downs being recasted. Was hoping for the prequel & original cast of the x-men but sadly they weren’t in it which was also a bit disappointing. Decent movie though.

The comment from Deadpool about Gambit really wanting people to call him that but never working out is a joke about how Channing has been trying for years to get a Gambit movie the way Ryan was able to get a Deadpool movie. Does shrink a bit though, he seems a lot smaller in this compared to back in the late 90's. They left his coat off though which would have hidden him being smaller.

the thing about this movie, is that to fully enjoy it you have to have already watched and learnt about every marvel movie, every cancelled project, videogame, multiverse stuff and every meme and whatnot that's on the internet! i showed this movie to my friends who barely knew half of all the requirements and did not react much at all they did not know who elektra was, did not care about blade , did not know who that gambing was and why DP had that special question for him regarding his name and well, now i have no friends.,
Blade is legit badass, he's super strong, unkillable by conventional means like Wolverine and Deadpool and is probably the best fighter/martial artist there.
Want to understand Gambit's accent? Go to New Orleans and then head South or West into the Bayou. Get out of the urban and suburban areas and you'll hear the accent.
