What has changed as China marks two years of blueprint for new world order?

- It has been two years since China announced its sweeping blueprint for a new world order amid rising geopolitical tensions rise and evolving conflicts. In recent months, Beijing has been ramping up efforts to promote its Global Security Initiative, a system that could rival Western frameworks and at the same time, put China at the heart of international issues. CNA's East Asia Tonight dives deep into the impact of China's proposed new framework for the world.
I know this may seem like a radical idea to some but why not interview an analyst based in China for a Chinese political topic? Why choose to interview someone based in Japan? When there's some political event in Japan, will CNA interview someone in China to give his opinion on the state of affairs in Japan? I doubt it...

The current one is not a rule-based order. It is US centric order. "Rule based order" is just a marketing term.
You are exactly right. From the American perspective, it is a Rule-based Order only when the "Rules" benefit American interests.
When Western products and companies dominate the global market and kill local businesses in Asia, this is a norm of free market competition in a "rule"-based global order. However, now that Western companies fail to outperform their Chinese counterparts, blame is swiftly placed on unfair Chinese industrial policies and subsidies. I would like to ask Treasury Secretary Yellen how we classify Biden's CHIPS and Science Act? LOL...
The US makes up the rules as they go, and orders everyone else around. But ignores them itself.
Noting your name....
Bully!
Yes agreed!
I wonder what does Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Serbia, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Venuzuela, Russia and Ecuador think about the current rules based order...
Exactly.. But someone has to always set the rules.. and it's usually the strongest nation.. even in a new world order there will be different rules that countries have to play by. And they will again be set by the strongest nations of the time
Rule based order ….😂 whose rules?
Rules created and made up by the USA is more important than the International Law discussed and agreed upon by all countries in the United Nations.
@@LoC28C USA has broke many of them and got away with it. Time to enforce the rules.
The Rules Based International Order is Rules made by the United States of America and is not known by anyone. So everyone MUST Follow it. This is what the US politicians has been saying for the past few years. Whilst Chinese Politicians are stressing that they are following the International Laws that is created and agreed in the United Nations.
Now you are seeing NATO, India, Philippines and Japan is also starting to bark out the Rules Based International Order.

49-year-old London Breed is the first African-American Mayor in San Francisco’s history and the only female mayor to serve in the top 15 largest US cities. She arrived on April 19 in Shanghai.
During her visit, she will celebrate the 45th anniversary of San Francisco and Shanghai being 'Sister Cities'.
This is Breed’s last stop of her 8-day visit to China. Other cities on her tour included Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing.
2024-4-21 While Israel's military offensive continues in Gaza, violence has also been escalating in the occupied West Bank. Residents launched a general strike - closing their shops and other businesses after Israeli troops raided a refugee camp in the territory. The Palestinian Red Crescent said at least 14 people were killed and dozens injured. Israel says it targeted militants during a counter-terrorism operation.
So, if the west bank goes into a general strike, whose livelihood and lives get affected and suffer? Israelis or palestinians?

The deployment of American intermediate-range missiles in the Philippines is another blow to global stability, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov has said.
Philippines is turning out to be the best candidate for the role of US' s proxy in Asia.
It is fight to the last Filipino.
Because the little president marcos junior's interest here, is not whether Phillipine and its people can be unnecessarily dragged into a war that it cannot afford. His interest is in looking after his own family wealth (legacies of corruption since his late father) which is parked in USA, you see?

The 19th Western Pacific Naval Forum held in Qingdao, China, opened on April 22. The Philippines did not send a representative to attend.
Representatives from 29 countries attended the opening ceremony of the forum on the morning of the 22nd, including the new commander of the US Pacific Fleet, Admiral Stephen Koehler, and the new commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, Alexander Moiseev.
The Western Pacific Naval Forum is a regional naval cooperation mechanism platform with 23 member states and seven observer states, of which the Philippines is one of the member states. However, the Philippines did not send a representative to participate in the conference this year.

"Born an Orphan"
2024-4-21 Pregnant woman dies in airstrike in Gaza, doctors miraculously save baby girl by caesarean section.
A 30-week-pregnant woman, Sabreen Al-Sakani, was killed in an Israeli airstrike, but doctors successfully rescued her baby girl. The baby girl's sister also died in the air raid, but she expressed her wish to name her sister after Rouh, a name that means "courage." This air raid took away the baby's parents and sister Malak in one fell swoop, making Rouh an orphan at birth.
Palestinian Health Ministry officials said that the airstrike, which resulted in the death of three of the baby girl's relatives at birth, occurred in the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
Faced with the lifeless pregnant woman, doctor Mohammed Salama was still determined to "snatch her" from the clutches of death and performed an emergency caesarean section to save the 1.4-kilogram baby girl.

If you look at western policy in the middle east vs China you see clearly the difference
But we stay in this region. China policy suck in this region.
The meaning of China about Global Security Initiative is Invading it's neighbor EEZ through gray zone tactics😂😂😂
Philippines was the one who invaded kalayaan islands and annexed it from China when it was under ROC/Taiwans control.

The slowdown of the Chinese economy, the strengthening of deflationary tendencies due to the bursting of the real estate bubble, the decline of the market due to people becoming more frugal, the confusion caused by Xi Jinping, the withdrawal of foreign companies, and the failure of the zero-coronavirus policy. As you can see, the Chinese economy is in turmoil due to the bankruptcies of large and small businesses and the inability of local governments.
I will explain how it differs from Japan's bubble burst.
Fortunately, Japan has a deposit insurance system, and the government provided guarantees, so there was no major social unrest.
Although some people's property was lost due to the slang term for irreparable loss, the government protected the savings of the general public and guaranteed interest rates on real estate transactions.
However, China will not become like Japan.
Why doesn't the Chinese government help individuals?
That's because they don't hold elections. One vote has no weight, so it doesn't hurt the country.
It is used for foreign lobbying activities, but not for citizens.
Insecure and resourceful Chinese could move abroad, but if those who remain don't run the country and speak out, corruption will flourish and the economy will become even more chaotic.
The Question Every Country Need To Consider Is, CAN THEY ACCEPT COMMUNIST NEW WORLD ORDER?😂
Let me ask you a question. When USSR was still there, US tells everyone to resist the soviets because they are communist and is a threat to their democracy. After USSR fell, and Russia is no longer communist, US is still telling us that Russia is a threat to Ukraine's democracy. Do you really think communism is a threat, or just the US feel threatened by a peer? By the way do you know the acronym of communism is capitalism and not democracy? And where is true democracy if all US aims for puppet governments in all over the world?
@davidlum2001 u asked more than a question. 😂 Here r my answers to yr question 😂 1.) Russia is still a communist country. 2.)From Russia Ukraine invasion, US is correct 3.) From China action in this region, China is a threat to smaller regional countries. 4.) Lesson learnt from Russia n China, communist is a threat to smaller countries nearby

Chinese rhetoric
It is common for people to dispel something new but I suppose we have to start somewhere. The current rules based order is broken because it is in fact US based order, which is leaning towards war if one does not abide by US rules. The proposal is novel. Let it sink in and let’s see how far it will go. Who knows, it may have the last laugh, similar to Ukraine’s 12 points peace plan, which will be the solution when all parties are exhausted 😂
