Supercharging a 1948 Delta Band Saw- Resawing Setup and other Upgrades How to

Increased horsepower, safety, blade choice, and dust collection are all demonstrated in this video. This 1948 Delta band saw is now able to cut through anything I can throw at it. I couldn't find much info on the 1 HP Dayton motor but it looks to be from the 60's or 70's and I picked it up at the farm auction for $15. All it needed was a new cord so that was a major score! Like what you have done! Have a 1953 version similar saw, and just going through it and servicing what’s required. Next is a riser block and motor upgrade.

Looks like the saw is running great. What size pulleys are you running on the saw and motor?
