i think this is not a revolutional racket like duora 10 and z force 2 were... yonex already made the best rackets than they can make, the rest is marketing. li-ning is becoming better and better, my favourite single racket is the airstream n99 and i think the airstream system is well more effective than the GRS from yonex

You probably don’t like the colour but orange is my favourite colour it is a singles racket which is good for me cause I don’t like playing doubles I like both ambassadors bit this is a very expensive racket and it sounds so good my friends always compliments the sounds of my shots and my couch.

@@ericsuryajaya_dds the simple pro overgrip is enough I'd say. I don't have enough budget to try their more expensive models. The pro overgrip is most similar to the yonex you use, but it's better from my point of view. I have super sweaty hands and this grip lasts the longest out of all of them I've tried.

I've read some reviews and some says this one is more sluggish than 88d and 3u 99 models has more head weight than 3u 88d. If you are an advanced level in doubles then you might opt for the 4u version. Some says if you like fast rackets then this is not for you and might want to stick to duora.
But who knows you might have the strongest arms and you might able to tame it at doubles.

I disagree that you need technique to generate more power with the Astrox 99. I bought it in fact 'cuz I was getting older and my power was going down. With the Astrox 99, my shots got stronger, deeper, faster, compared with my older Yonex rackets. The Astrox 99 give you power with less effort -- whether you have great technique or not, compared to other rackets. At the same time, its control is superb. Tai Tzu Ying shots are within your grasp with the Astox 99.

It is a good racket sure. But if you already have 88D, I don't think the benefit will be significant, that's my first impression. I don't actually own one, so it's really helpful when you highlight the pros and cons of this racket compared with other Astrox series.

My friend was going to buy the astrox 99 but the retailer said that it was just too expensive for a racket. He told him to get the duora 10 (2017) instead and he did.

I play both doubles and singles, would the Astrox 99 be better or the 88s be better? Because in the video you said the 99 might be a bit sluggish, but the 88s has less power. Also, which one has more control? Cus both are said to have great control....thx!

Do you string 30 lbs on both cross and mains or are you using 28 on main and 30 on cross? I am planning of getting a z force 2 with 25 lbs(BG80) of tension, it’d be great if you can tell me some tips

Could you please review RSL rackets? They are made in England and their top rackets are way cheaper than Yonex's. England-made rackets must also be good.

Hi Poison Cobra, recently my 88s has a clicking sound at the cone/handle. Is it still safe to use? Will the racket break at the cone/handle?
