Using an arg to market a horror or a mystery game is a really good idea, and a particularly good idea for an indie game as you wouldnt need much budget, more games should do that
The Australian The project can’t be real as after experiencing the 360 here in Australia the fact there was no RROD’s on any of those 360’s they used seems impossible lol. Personally I had 4 consoles that bit the dust from launch with 2 of them being replaced by the store in the same day it was that bad. The other 2 within a fortnight. The only 360 I own that still works is the Modern Warfare 2 special edition which seems to be bullet proof for whatever reason A for Alan Wake I have the Ltd edition 360 collectors one that came with the novel and the box was designed like a mystery book. It is really cool. As far as atmosphere and creepiness with color choice etc the 360 is still the best version to play. The original is still one of my all time favourite games and is much better than Alan Wake 2.
Honestly, thanks to you Matt Joseph and the other guy I forgor💀 I wanna try Alan wake now, Imma get the Xbox 360 version instead of the remaster since it’s cheaper, thanks hidden machine for making this game come into my existence.
Remedy should get rid off their community manager asap. She is horrible. If she represents the company in all honesty than im worried. I heard AW2 is still in the reds
Well Remedy games tend to make the money after awhile, like the first Alan Wake. And a little over 2 months ago it was reported it had almost fully recouped the development costs, so I imagine after the release of the lake house DLC it's sure to have gotten out of the red now. And given time and the release of the collectors edition I can't imagine it won't make a profit. As far as the community manager I haven't done any research on that so I won't commit on it as of right now

@HiddenMachineGaming best tactic would probably be finding a way to get a few youtubers that cover args interested
A perfect example would be the ARG Edmund McMillen did for the binding of isaac

The 360 version is solid, the PC port of the original is also great!
The ps5 version was very good. The pc version is my favourite
