Gran Concierto, ¡pardiez!, estuvieron a la altura, aunque ya no tienen 20, ni 30, ni 40 años, pero quien tuvo retuvo y desde luego fue genial, un gran repaso a sus temas, buen sonido, muy ameno y lleno de buen Rock. Se echaban en falta sin duda al gran "Mad" Keith Moon, y al gran Entwistle, pocos bajistas le han igualado, pero los que les sustituian lo hacian muy bien. Fuimos mi colega Ramón y yo y disfrutamos de lo lindo en el ex- Palacio de los Deportes ahora Wizink Center.

Pete in his autobiography said that he played the best guitar of his career at this Madrid show". That's saying something. (My apologies if I'm repeating a comment previously posted - I haven't read through all the posts)
Yes, they played this set well. Back in 2006 The Who were at the top of their game.. Pete was still young enough to jump all over the stage & Rogers voice was still really strong.

Y ese grito generacional que dimos al unísono para nacer de nuevo renovados a un mundo más sólido y cargado de sentido. Los ví en 2007 en Bilbao y este año 2016 en Vitoria-Gasteiz. El tiempo no pasa por ellos. Daltrey (72) con la voz algo tocada en alguna canción (finalizaban gira) y Townshend (71) en una forma increíble. Lo dieron todo como siempre. Los audiovisuales que acompañaron todo el concierto maravillosos. El público acabó entusiasmado.
Estos dos entrañables abuelos me han acompañado a lo largo de mi vida y fue muy emocionante verlos por primera vez en directo derrochando buen rollo y rock por un tubo. Long live rock!!

Man, one of the best Who Concerts on TH-cam. I'm gonna download it so I have it in my Who collection. You know, I was sad when Eddie Van Halen passed away, for a number of reasons but when Pete Townshed passes away, that'll certainly be a really sad day for me. I've listened to The Who since 1968-69. Although I used to say Led Zeppelin was the best rock band from England. However, The Who are actually the very best rock & roll band of all time, from England in my book. Yo los vi el 1 de Octubre en Argentina en el Estadio Único, estuvo buenísimooo estuvieron solo una 1:40 porque la gente no sabia sus canciones... una lastima, pero cuando cantaron "Who are you?" se armo alto pogo estuvo buenísimo para mi!!!

Bunne, Pete never uses those in-ear monitors. His personal floor monitor in front of him seemed like it was turned up a tad too loud, giving Pete the idea his guitar's volume was higher than it actually was. I know from watching Who Concerts, Pete is always checking to see that his guitar amp is turned up. He didn't do that in this concert...
